Hello everyone!

Thank you for your continued support. This month we have seen a good amount of addition to the server including a whole new ticket system, scoreboard changes, new warfund additions and changes and much more! Thank you to @Dennid for putting together this months news

As always, we'll post changes as they happen on the SCP-RP Discord in #change-logs. This is a summary of this month's changes.

New Features

CnReports​

  • Introduced a brand new ticket-based reports system, replacing the traditional admin sits.
    • The menu can be accessed by pressing F6, typing @ ..., or using the commands: !report, !reports, !ticket, !tickets or !help,
  • Reduces RP disruption by allowing reports to be handled without interrupting roleplay.,
  • Allows staff to deal with multiple reports simultaneously, improving response times and efficiency. No longer held up by that one guy taking half an hour to upload evidence.,
  • Staff requirements are now monthly rather than weekly, and AOD requirements have been removed.

Scoreboard changes​

Scoreboard Obfuscation:​

  • When using the tab menu, the jobs of players of a different faction to your own will show as the name of their faction/regiment instead of their true job name.,
  • Jobs will be fully alphabetically sorted instead of just by the first 3 letters.
    • The most noticeable effect of this is that MTF Jobs will be correctly grouped together by regiment,
  • SCP players will always be visible regardless of faction. SCPs will have all non-SCP jobs obfuscated.,
  • AOD will always be visible as AOD regardless of faction and job.,
  • Connecting players will show as N/A on the tab menu

Loadout Changes:

  • Added tactical tablets to a lot of GOC jobs for a full list visit here
  • MTF E-11 Nine Tailed Fox Breacher - Replaced M-249 Para with Mauler
  • MTF E-11 Nine Tailed Fox Officer - Replaced QBZ-97 with KBAR-32
  • MTF Nu-7 Hammer Down Officer - Replaced M14 with VKS
  • Chaos Insurgency Marksman - Replaced M4 Spectre with PP-19 Vityaz
  • Chaos Insurgency Cartographer - Added PP-19 Vityaz
  • MTF Nu-7 Hammer Markspam - Replaced Colt 9MM with MP7
  • Security Response Unit - Station - Replaced Tranquilizer with beanbag shotgun
  • Security Captain - Replaced Tranquilizer with beanbag shotgun
  • Chief of Security - Replaced Tranquilizer with beanbag shotgun

Job Changes:

  • Added 7 new models to the Marshall, Carter & Dark Job
  • Added Panic button to response unit
  • Chaos Inurgency replaced model - photo

New Permanent Weapons:

  • Flatline
  • Prowler PDW
  • P2020

Weapon Changes:

  • Kraber 50.Cal - Bullets now bypass the bullet freeze ability
  • The following guns no longer fracture players on hit - Devotion, spitfire and rampage LMG's
  • Mauler - Nerfed from its stats used on OSuit to bring it in line with the current MTF LMGs like the M-249 Para
  • ERAD - Buffed so its not dogshit (Improved spread, damage, and normalized recoil)
  • MP7 - Increased damage by a small amount
  • Tranquiliser changes - full list here
  • New beanbag shotgun - A shotgun that fires one projectile at a time that stuns targets regardless of faction. It has a max range of 1,000 HU and the stun duration scales by the armor of the target.
  • Removed Tactical Foregrip
    • This was not introduced intentionally, it got added after a file conflict was identified and corrected during a recent update to vguns.
  • The beanbag shotgun now does a slight bit of damage

War Fund Additions and Balancing:​

  • New: Care Package - Basic Equipment this is accessable by The Chaos Insurgency
  • New: Equipment Package - Spy Drones this is accessable by The SCP Foundation
    New: Equipment Package - Kraber 50.Cal this is accessable by The GOC
    New: Equipment Package - Charge Rifle Mk.3 this is accessable by The GOC

AVDrones:​

  • All Drones​

    • Limited Max Height to 1000 Hammer Units
      • This is just above the roof of the Parawatch Spawn Building. This is to stop drones flying all the way into the skybox to make it impossible to shoot them down.,
  • Bomb Drones​

    • Overhauled code handling the explosion mechanic to allow for setting radius and damage separately
    • HP: 100 -> 80
  • Spy Drones​

    • HP: 100 -> 40
    • The Drone light is active while the drone is uncloaked,
    • -30% Connection Range

VWar Radios:​

  • The Default Radio Group for all Nu-7 jobs has been swapped from Nu-7 to SOP
  • The Default Radio Group for all External Affairs jobs has been swapped from DEA to SOP

Reality Bending Changes:

  • Players standing inside the bubble of an active Scranton Reality Anchor can no longer be targeted by Reality Bending abilities.
  • Placing a Scranton Reality Anchor near a Reality Bender with an active Destabilization ability will consume the Scranton and remove the Destabilization field.
  • Detain can now only be used on targets with under 225 health

Scrap Changes:

  • When there are fewer than 40 players on the server, the following items cannot be purchased from the Scrap Trader NPC
    • Access Card - Level 1,
    • Access Card - Level 2

SCP Changes:

  • SCP Sampling Limits​

    • Increased SCP 8845 and 323 sample limit to somewhere under 6L
  • SCP-457​

    • Removed Sprint Mechanic
  • SCP-076​

    • Added Sprint Mechanic

VWAR​

  • Weapon and hacking upgrades can now be placed back into a storage box after they've been taken out (5 second cooldown).,
  • Weapon and hacking upgrades are now set to the player's team when spawned through the Q-Menu.
    • This makes it possible for Senior Administrators & Super Administrators to do refunds for these upgrades.
  • Refactored how the upgrades were made internally, please report any issues.
  • When coming back from afk you will now pull out the last weapon you were holding

Misc Changes:

  • Console - Disabled player death messages
  • Added research chemist to show on the Thaumiel + XK Class VIP Packages
  • Re-enabled breach votes
  • Optimised SCP-008 to improve server performance
  • Optimised gag logic in cuffs to improve server performance
  • ET&S can now be credited by all CL4 roles
    Added Charge Rifle Mk.2 to E-11 AA full changelog here
  • Combat medic salary increase from £60 to £80

Bugfixes

CG SCP PM Combined
  • Switched all of Epsilon-11's playermodel blue variant skins to index 0: players disguised as Epsilon-11 operatives will now blend in,
  • Removed the "Mission Four" plate infobreach on the GOC medic's playermodel,
  • Removed flex animations on female scientist models that would cause mouth movement when speaking,
  • Added new playermodels for the Marshall, Carter & Dark Salesman (to be configured, on server restart)

VGuns SCP​

  • Fixed a handful of VMTs which caused missing or mismatched toolbar icons

VWar Battalions​

  • Fixed Foundation and GOC so the default rank players get set to when first joining or getting kicked from a regiment is No Rank and Recruit respectively.

VWar Advanced Loadouts​

  • Fixed Security Response Unit - Station spawning with a Tranquilizer Pistol instead of a Beanbag Shotgun

VJobEditor​

  • Edited all GOC Jobs to have the correct rank and regiment requirements.

PAC3​

  • Fixed an issue with imported assets caused by the most recent Garry’s Mod update.
  • Fixed another issue with imported assets.

VCraft - Fixed the following food items:

  • Foodeaters Tiramisu
  • Cals curry
  • Small chicken Pie Recipe

General​

  • Fixed bug causing doors/keypad with the prefix ONLY open to not function correctly
  • Contamination doors are now open only as intended.
  • Fixed Garage Spawn for DEA and Nu-7,
  • Fixed Security Sector Spawn for E-11

Rules Changes

Changed 1.05 Do not Metagame from:
Using video clips in-character, without the utilization of the bodycam item and its clipping function.
To

This rule change essentialy removes the requirement of pressing the "clip" button in order for bodycam to be valid. The bodycam must only be activated

Changed 2.13(a) Prop Blocking from:

Rule addition 1.18(b) Care Package Protections:
You may not steal or interact with Care Packages that are directly outside of the base of the owner faction, or within their compound. You may steal and interact with the aforementioned Care Packages during Main Raids and Deep Cover/DEA Infiltration/Assessment Raids.
