Ban Reason: Inappropriate Conduct , Stacked Bans

Date of ban: 31/01/2025

Who banned you: Bananolas

Ban length: 3 weeks

What will you do to stop this from happening again: Not use the word "Nonce" again, and ask Staff before using any language I feel may not be appropriate for the community if it is allowed or not to be used.

Why should you be unbanned: Nonce is a frequent word in my vocabulary of friends outside of this community, it's not meant to mean someone is legit a pedophile, nor was I calling anyone a pedophile, it was just meant to be a joke and no one said anything at the time to indicate any offence so I moved on with my day. 3 weeks for a single word that was not directed to anybody in particular or a specific player I think is just really unfair and I was not ever given even a chance to talk to the person and say sorry if it really did upset them

I just want to play with my friends on the server again, I will be more careful with my language, I have never endangered anyone and I just want to play on the server and mind my own business like I always do

After reading through your appeal, checking the logs and looking into your ban/warn history I believe the staff member did the correct thing in banning you.

However, I do believe the ban appeal length could be lowered due to the fact there was no malicious intent. Regardless, it was used in comms meaning everyone witnessed it.

Please keep in mind for the future, regardless of the context or the intent of language used, we do not accept this sort of language on the server.

As outlined above, I will be reducing your ban length to 1 Week.
