What server are you applying for: SCP-RP (UK)
Your Username: Jello_on_mello
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:530059
Discord Username: jello_on_mello
Age: 17
What's your current playtime: 130 hours (I think the real number is much higher since the !time menu only shows up to a month ago & i got the one week achievment)
Do you have a mic: Yes
Your characters name: (Foundation)Antonio Claudete (Civilian) Matheo Niepielski (CI) Antonio Claudete
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: Yes
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: One FailRP / No Intent to Roleplay and one Excessive Toxicity.
Both warnings I received in my first three hours on the server happened almost back-to-back (got one, ban ended, came back, then got the second).
The first one was about me having the incredibly bright idea to as a GSD cadet arm and drug two D-Classes and hand them over to a random techie. “And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for some meddling ISD.” I then killed myself with a door and left the server. The warning itself was issued while I was offline.
The second one happened during a combat encounter in D-Block. I got combat-cuffed by a D-Class, then SCP-9120 uncuffed me. I then had killed the D-Class and started yelling some very lovely words that I shouldn’t repeat to another living being.
How many hours can you be on everyday: about 4 or 5 and up to 7 on weekends
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: I moderated an arguably pretty shitty DarkRP server about two years ago. The only thing I really remember about it is how incredibly toxic it was. I dealt with a lot of unfavourable, toxic people talking through awful microphones in languages I didn’t understand (so, pretty much the peak GMod RP experience).
While I don’t think I made any lasting impression on that server (since it died barely a month after opening), I still gained a lot of experience dealing with player toxicity.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achieved in-game: While I’m still in the process of learning the nooks and crannies of this server and its community, I’ve already dipped my feet into most parts of it, including Research, ISD, SOP, CI, Medical, and E-11. I’ve completed almost all of the licenses I can on my Foundation character, and my final goal is to reach that sweet, sweet CL5 Site Administration , I currently advance in E-11 ranks since that's the closest Rp wise I can get to interacting with scps I also love the chemical system on the server but its quite tedious to acquire some of the more 'fun' Chems
Why would you like to become a staff member: I have quite fell in love with the server , while its has a some issues (the clash of the combat focused part of the server CI/MTF and the more roleplay focused Research/medical with the prior having the ability to put the latter in a dead halt)
I think as a staff I would have more of a voice and tools(mainly from the staff perks like pac-3) to have fun on the server
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: I don't understand this question like I don't know the staff team and the internal problems inside the team
the only thing I had problem with I asked in a ticket why a certain room is closed of with a code , and I get a boring ahh answer like its a private chem lab (The lab in question was the RCPT Lab) and it got me temporally uninterested in a part of the server that could have led me on to experience the chem system more
When I ask a question about an IC issue, event, problem, or mechanic, the answer I get shouldn’t just be “IC issue” (which happens way too often). Instead, it should be a slight push in the right direction to help me figure it out.
For example: “Oh, this is an RCPT lab. There are posters around the Foundation talking about it , find them, and you’ll know who to talk to.”
That would send someone on a quick scavenger hunt to find a poster, and it ultimately leads to more interaction between players. than just an ignorant “IC issue”
