Haven't got any.
Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
My main reason for wanting to apply to become an Ambassador is so that the current IA Agents/Operatives have someone to look up to and I hope to improve the overall state that the IA department is currently in by ensuring that Agents/Operatives can perform their job to the fullest. I want to be able to train/teach IA Agents/Operatives so that they can be seen as the true enforcers of the Code of Ethics in the form of hosting daily/weekly lectures on different parts of the job, such as; in-depth explanations of the Code of Ethics (so that they don't have to look back at it) or how to perform other important tasks that the job requires. Other than that, I feel that currently, I have the will and passion to boost the department to become prestigious and highly looked at by others. Furthermore, becoming an Internal Affairs Ambassador will be my first step in Site Administration as it would happen to be my very first Clearance 4 role.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
I am a quick learner, I love reading documents and referencing them for other people's knowledge. An essential factor of being a good IA Agent/Operative is that you realise something is being done wrong without having to double-doubt yourself if you're right. Furthermore, I believe that it is so much more beneficial to let people learn from their mistakes and ensure that they know what they have done wrong so that they don't go off, and do it again... So if I believe that the person wants to improve I like to rather explain to people what they've done wrong and tell them how to improve instead of going right to punishment.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I've written a few IA arrest reports, it's not for me to decide if my documents are good quality but as said by one of the Site Advisors they can either be bad or good as they are just either accepted or denied. But I have written a few "Excellent" research documents while I'm a researcher so this could reflect quite nicely on my abilities. In my opinion, a high-quality document needs to have the following, a brief description of the culprit, broken articles (CoE/CoC), and for how long they were charged. After the description, it should have a well-written story behind what happened and even a bit of fiction/backstory behind your thoughts on why this happened and so on (for example in one of my documents I talked about a rouge Chef who may have been influenced by anomalous activity etc. just to make it more interesting to read). Furthermore, IA isn't known as a department to document what they do, but instead to just enforce the CoC and CoE so I hope that I can increase the number of documents created by IA Agents/Operatives coming forward.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
The core responsibilities of an Internal Affairs Agent/Operative is to:
- Enforce the Code of Ethics as well as the Code of Conduce
- Document their and others activity
- Actively overwatch IA Agents/Operatives
- Leading IA Agents/Operatives to success by helping them improve
- Assigning duties to IA Agents/Operatives so that they are able to enforce the CoC and CoE effectively throughout the Foundation
- Train prospective IA Agents
- Hold lectures or "ride-along" (not sure how else to call it) to help them improve on different aspects of their job
