How many hours can you be on everyday: around 2 to 3
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes, I was a previous moderator rank and achieved staff of the week on my first week of trial moderator, I always tried to handle sits quickly and always made sure I 100% new both sides before making any verdicts.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: Becoming a captain in gensec twice now on both servers. I was apart of a very fun ethics informant roleplay story as well as many other fun SCP roleplay scenarios and events. I'm glad im known as the sgt guy who yells at everyone as well(jokingly of course)
Why would you like to become a staff member: Well for starts I always enjoyed helping people and helping other players know the rules so they can have just as fun of an experience as I have is my main goal. I absolutely love taking sits and educating rather than punishing. It was always a very fufilling experience to me and the only reason I resigned was simply due to burnout of gmod in genral, but I have been playing quite a bit now and im once again a captain and I absolutely feel the urge to help players of the server once again, I always hated how some sits go due to the player simply not understanding the rules due to not everything being able to be explained. I also wish to become a staff to help myself better understand the rules of the server and to help other players understand them as well. I'm usually also active during times where there is not alot of staff on and i'd be more then happy to help then even if it gets stressful. Staffing was always a very fun and fufilling experience to me so being able to be a staff again would be wonderful. Plus I already have roughly 2 to 3 months of staffing experience so I wont even need to be fully trained on everything again(not that I wouldnt mind the refresher ofc).
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: I feel like communication was lacking quite alot during my time as a staff. Hours or days of waiting for a rule clarification or message. Also just IMO(from when I was staff) the lack of effort from the staffs side of actually trying to get a proper verdict. I feel like certain staff members just treat it as a quota rather then a opportunity to help players with their experience or punish them for being genuinely harmful to the roleplay experience and I feel as if it shouldnt be just for a quota. However this was when i was staffing about a year or two ago so im unsure how it is now.
