What server you were banned on: SCP-RP (USA)

Your in-game name: Mexus Maverick

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:394124103

Ban Reason: MRDM | FailRP

Date of ban: 7/12/2026

Who banned you: Jack 'Bulldog' (STEAM_0:0:508698378)

Ban length: 2 weeks

What will you do to stop this from happening again: To stop this from happening again, I'm going to make sure I fully understand the rules before acting instead of relying on what I've been told or what I've seen other people do. If I'm ever unsure about something, I'll ask staff first rather than assuming it's allowed.

Looking back, I realize I made mistakes, and I'm genuinely sorry for them. I understand that being misinformed doesn't excuse my actions. I'll be more careful during high pressure situations like SCP breaches to avoid unnecessary kills and I'll make sure I follow RP procedures correctly in the future, I want to learn from this and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Why should you be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned because what happened came from poor judgment and being misinformed, not from trying to ruin other peoples RP, During the containment breach many of the kills were a result of crossfire while engaging hostile D-Class. although I understand that I still made mistakes and take responsibility for them.

For the FailRP, I stripped the weapons and comms from an ISD Inspector who was disguised without the proper clearance for that disguise, I genuinely believed this was the correct procedure before arresting them and having them ECT'd because that's what I had been told, and I had seen others do the same. I wasn't aware that stripping someone is only allowed during a controlled RP scenario.

I know now that I should have understood the rules better instead of assuming I knew them. I'm genuinely sorry for the mistakes I made, and I hope I can have another chance to show that I've learned from this and can follow the servers rules properly going forward.

Appeal Denied

Hi Mexus,

Thanks for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

While I understand accidents can happen, what happened based off Clips reviewed & discussing with the Staff Member involved, this was not purely accidental.

At times it was noted you aimed directly at friendlies rather then hostiles and shot.

You may re-appeal in 1 week
