Recently while getting a document approved regarding a MTF approved, it has come to my attention that we have no way of replicating signed papers. I believe this is a flaw making most document have almost no value due to the fact that if you are killed the signed document dissapears.

Me finding out the hard way while transferring a document that has been signed by 4 people and I needed 3 more signatures, coming back to my bunks to put it in a drawer, I get headpopped by a disguised Type-Blue d-class. Loosing all the signatures previously obtained needing the tedious process of reobtaining these signatures and hiding the document so it doesn't get destroyed loosing all the progress once again.

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds the abillity for a document that was signed to be replicated WITH the signature still on it, using the printer.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I do not believe it has.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Obtaining a copy of a document has a real IC threat instead of it being just a "Quick solve".
Removes the hassle of reobtaining signatures when loosing a signed document.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
There arent many, but mostly the dev time.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Its a simple quality of life upgrade to the document system.

there should be some mechanism to prevent researchers from endlessly printing signed sampling documents and stashing them away, such as a checkbox indicating whether the signature should be photocopiable
That shouldn't be an issue. Just include a date or whatever on your document for when the permission is valid for and then it can't be reused.

the average person signing documents is somehow able to read a fifty page 008 document in ten seconds, I think they not gonna notice if the document contains the entire bee movie script or an altered date

Suggestion Denied

Hi Kitton, Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.

The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

Unfortunately, there are far too many ways for the ability to copy signed documents to be abused. Signed infobreaches could be infinitely replicated, sampling documents can be partially made and infinitely reproduced, and there could always be another copy of a signed document that enables breaching NLR. Adding a date/time function to the signatures would help, however, some documents take multiple days to get properly signed. This creates room for documents to be abused as previously described.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.
