What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
The goal of this suggestion is to provide a definitive rework the the SRU role with some minor changes to officer to improve the progression of GENSEC, give more clarified purpose, and general QoL changes.
To begin with the first and most important change for this suggestion moving the SRU Clarence Level from 2 to 3. This will allow them to...
Old Hierarchy: Cadet -> Guard -> SRU -> Officer/SCU -> Sergeant
Reworked Hierarchy: Cadet -> Guard -> Officer -> SRU/SCU -> Sergeant
Loadout Changes SRU:
Universal Equipment: Weapon Checker, Interrogate, Elastic Restraints, Stunstick, Radio.
Assault Loadout
Weapons: F90, USP. (Possibly a KSG)
Equipment: Deployable Shield, Smoke Grenades.
Enforcer Loadout
Weapon: PP Bizon
Equipment: Tranq Pistol.
Both of these loadouts are meant to help passively balance the power that SRU's older loadouts had, mainly being the tranq and KSG combo. The assault loadout acts as a more desirable choice due to its decent rifle and equipment to help dissuade the majority of people picking the Enforcer Tranq Pistol loadout.
Lastly the level requirements to get the RRT License would be shifted from..
Combat Level 15 -> 20
Total Level 25 -> 30 or 40
Officer Changes
In order to still keep the Officer job relevant their role would be strictly turned into a D-Block/LCZ focused job where they would act as experienced GENSEC operatives while also being available to escort high level tests. To also make it easier to achieve the job their level requirements would also be reduced from...
Combat Level 20 -> 15
Total Level 40 -> 30
Loadout Changes Officer:
Universal Equipment: Weapon Checker, Interrogate, Elastic Restraints, Stunstick, Radio.
Normal Loadout:
Weapon: Fang-45, Nova, USP.
Equipment Riot Shield.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
The Security Department as a whole is mainly seen as a joke or minge department with little to no chance of other departments/mtfs taking them seriously. There are rarely many chances for GENSEC to prove that sentiment wrong mainly due to people not playing the SRU role outside the odd hours where people decide to demote their clearance to do so. It has gotten to the point where (On the US Server) Nu7 are guarding Site Admin rather then Site Security (Not throwing shade at Nu7). These changes will also help in making the department a more desirable choice to actually pursue time into while also making the hierarchy more clear and straightforward.

- Access additional areas of the site without the need for other CL3s to escort (Like Lower HCZ, Most SCP chambers, and surface garage to help respond to threats entering the facility) to name a few.
- Access to level 3 dispenser equipment to make their job easier in order to adapt to situations they respond to (Containment Beams, Containment Cuffs, Reality Anchors, Grenades, Hazmat Gear.
- Access to Level 3 Comms where most important communications are shared.
- A more defined placement in the GENSEC Hierarchy.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- More defined purpose for both roles rather then having a confusing mix.
- A better more straightforward GENSEC progression and hierarchy.
- A more proper basic level CL3 role for GENSEC where people who act unprofessional can just be removed from rather then job banned.
- More trust can be placed in the SRU role.
- A high probability of Officer becoming redundant on GENSEC.
- Server PVP Imbalance.
