List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- MTF E11-PVT
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?
- 1 ban for leave to avoid roleplay (my game crashed) and a warn for fail rp once when I started on the server and didn't know the rules.
- Why are you applying for the Chief of Medicine?
I have been maining medical for awhile now. If I ever deviate from medical, it is to become either technical expert if there was recently a major breach (or one is requested) or containment specialist during a code 5. I previously mained IA where I used to upload several highly detailed reports an hour. I wish to make the medical department more of an RP centered department, focusing on actually undergoing procedures, routine medical checkups and documenting patient arrivals. As my current doctor, I typically can be found either in the CDC helping bleeding security and wounded D-class or I will be in the medical bay openly advertising in comms for foundation staff to come in for a routine checkup. As chief of medicine, I will focus my RP and that of other doctors to spending more time documenting SCP exposure cases or serious injuries that require surgery/medication/therapy. I have noticed amongst many doctors that they simply do not even attempt any medical rp if they can, they at most will do electroshock therapy and if I were to be made chief of medicine, I would ensure to properly teach trainees and doctors alike how to properly document and undergo procedures/checkups/therapies/prescriptions and more.
- What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
I write highly detailed and medically suitable medical records per each patient I see in the medical ward. In real life, I am currently a medical scribe at a cardiology outpatient clinic and underwent 2 months of crash course medical school training including medical terminology, medications, procedures, abbreviations and HIPPA. I graduated from university a semester early this last December in Biology and took all the necessary pre-med classes, as I hope to one day become a doctor in real life and will be applying for medical school this coming May. This experience gives me an immense amount of knowledge on the field that I am sure exceeds others in the department. I incorporate all these elements in my notes and have uploaded multiple guides on how to write proper medical check up notes, proper physical exam formatting and terminology. I also have years of medical RP experience on Gmod dating back to as far as 2014 on Nutscript Serious RP servers. If you want evidence, look under any of the documents in medical or patient records that were uploaded by Dr. Stephen Gevanni for the level of detail and professionalism. My time in IA and my current job in real life have made me an expert report writer and a highly qualified member of the medical department.
- What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
Overlook the medical department and all of it's staff to ensure they are following established medical guidelines and policy. The chief of medicine is also designated to provide in depth training to medical trainees so that they can become full fledged doctors. This would include full training in proper documenting, procedures, drug manufacturing, ordering prescriptions, proper resuscitation and SCP exposure protocols. They will also monitor all uploaded documents to ensure they are properly formatted and placed in the proper location, educating those on their misconduct when appropriate.
- Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Dr. Stephen Gevanni MD completed his B.S in Biology at the Dartmouth University in the spring of 2005. He then attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons for 4 years to complete his MD in New York City in 2009. During his time at Columbia, he published several research articles concerning new medical treatments for Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma, including synthesizing molecular precusor for the now well known protein kinase B inhibitor afuresertib. He was placed into a prestigious Internal Medicine residency at Mount. Sinai hospital in NYC, where in his 3rd and final year he was made chief resident and oversaw a cohort of 15 other internists. Gevanni was interested in further specializing, however the Chief of Medicine at Mt. Sinai on his final day called him to his office. When he arrived, the chief had two men in black suits and sunglasses with him. The chief told Gevanni that his time at Columbia and Mt. Sinai greatly impressed certain members of the government, who had come to offer him a position at one of their secret laboratories. Offering competitive pay with the top private practices in the country along with guaranteed job security, life long family benefits and an alluring adventure, the ambitious Gevanni accepted the offer, so beginning his career with the SCP foundation starting in summer of 2012. He has been a doctor with the foundation for over 9 years now.
Storylines: He would be involved in any necessary surgery, medical procedure or drug manufacturing to treat SCP 008 or the effects of SCP 513. He would also be involved in any serious trauma related surgeries for high ranking foundation officials given his experience and expertise. He is all for streamlining the medical process and department into one of professionalism and staff wide respect. He will not tolerate lack luster performance or mistakes on the job.
