What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add functionality to the weapon check (or a new SWEP) to allow a user to actually strip/disable comms and headcams instead of using a bind. When someone then tries to watch the headcam, it's shown red, like when someone turned it off manually.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not able to find anything besides a rule change.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- You do not know if someone did /me strips headcam on someone that you are trying to view, this would prevent unintentional meta.
- Having an actual function for it would make away with instant strips.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Someone that was striped would need to get these items back somehow.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this would prevent metagaming by accidently watching someones headcam that technically has been stripped.
