- I think a few things can sum up why I want to fill the role of DoM. Most importantly is I want to make a change to how medical is played specifically medicals progression. As I see it, medical is way too easy of a role to just blow through as a stepping stone to higher places and other departments. Because of this we have very few recognizable faces and I want to change that. I want to change progression within medical to do 2 things. 1 change the job of a consultant to a small degree. I would leave a lot of it how it is but I want specializations and departments within medical to change to fit what we need medical to be. Secondly, change how you become a consultant. I could give a long winded explanation on how this new system would work but to sum it up it would be more mentor based. I think these changes would greatly improve medical as a whole and I think I can and will improve medical. I also want access to some of the resources available with the position. more people to talk to some prestige with the position a SR cl4 all of the above.
- I believe I am suitable for DOM as I possess the qualities needed for such a position. I've been within medical for an extended period of time and know the ins and outs of the department. I know quite a few of the long time medical players and feel as if I know what is needed to lead the department into greener pastures. I think my overall time and commitment to the role of a doctor would leave me well suited for the seat of department chair of medical. Also pure seniority other than Sammy I am the most senior active consultant that has to be worth some points. I've also done extensive medical RP good and bad I've had a lot of time to soak up the department of medical and I think I can put that into being a good director. Lastly I think passion I will shout it from the rooftops I stick to my commitments and to become a director I would have to leave a very beloved position so to make a step like this I would want to invest as much time as possible and I have a lot of time to invest.
- Leading the medical department and its consultants
- Attending CL4 meetings as medicals representative
- Updating and making documents for the medical department
- Assisting consultants on in work projects
- Giving and removing medical license
- Ensure all foundation personnel are healthy
- Training new consultants
- Managing policies
