What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Change the foundation thaumatologist and maybe the GOC thaumatologist abilities to be more RP/ Research/support driven as it doesn't make much sense for them to have mostly combative abilities when they cant use most of them without violating the Code of conduct. For instance add a 50 energy ability that they could revive one person who could be revived from defibs. Another ability could Heal targets and stop bleeding. an ability to summon food and it act similarly to the food crates in the way the food is summoned.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ Less combat focus on abilities for the thaumatologist and more a support role that can actually be used
+More interest in thaumatologist as they can assist around the site more than only use reality bending once or twice before they are killed
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-They might make breaches harder for SCP's
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Thaumatologists probably have some of the best potential and it seems that their scope currently is rather limited as they are equipped with the same abilities as type green and type blues despite their role not being a combative or frequently involved in combat The aforementioned suggestions for new abilities are only a suggestion on abilities that could replace the current ones and any criticism of them is welcome!
