What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?
I have solid foundations for memory of the FLC and the duties relevant to an Overseer Assistant, as well as personal experience as an assistant myself. My knowledge on the lore of the medium that is SCP is rather vast, and I am well kept at maintaining my understanding of policies. I feel through personal and external assessments that my ability to work and complete tasks delegated to me are quite efficient and delivered in quality expected of an OSA. I am also someone who is compatible with most people in the workplace, and am able to complete assignments and communicate efficiently with ease regardless of the individual I am assigned to. I also am very good at cleaning up messes.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
Overseer Assistants serve as the direct hand and liaison of the Overseer Council, and are delegated assignments by said Council to assist Overwatch with improving the Foundation on a long term or short term level. The nature of assignments vary depending on circumstances, however Assistants also ensure that the Code of Conduct (CoC) portion of the FLC is fulfilled. Often some assignments may be completed with the assistance of MTF A-1. Assistants also serve as part of the public face of the Council, being a mouthpiece and/or representative for the group as a whole.

Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?
I find that personally, I enjoy the work that comes with being an assistant first and foremost, but I also enjoy the general realm of stories that can be spun when in that position. Specifically RP narratives. I enjoy being able to put my skills to use in a productive manner when possible, and the role of Assistant was the few positions where I felt the equilibrium of comfort and efficiency.

Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

A loud shriek is heard from inside of the analysis room. It is animalistic. Insane, wailing, feral. The cold steel of a pair of tongs descends on the source, prying it open until it ceases its cries for relief. Despite its separation, it throbs and writhes still, blood and pus leaking forth onto the petri dish. Giving the sight not even the slightest inch of discuss, Halo removes a scalpel from the nearby tray and severs the mass into pieces. It shrieks again, attempting to slink out of the dish. A harsh beep is heard behind her as a silhouette comes to the quarantine chamber. The doors cycle, soft mechanical clicks heard as the doors open and close, the hiss of decontaminant flooding the chamber with a sterile smell. The woman in the HAZMAT doesn't budge, she only places the dish on the nearby cryo-storage container. Resisting the submission to freezing temperatures, the samples cease their movement, slowly.

The figure steps out of the chamber as it finishes cycling. Monitors outside the chamber identify 2 individuals in the room. Halo hardly gives the figure acknowledgement, beyond a glance, her gaze more fixed on the frozen pile of flesh on her left.

AH: ...
AH: You should ha-

Her voice was alienlike. Muffled and distorted by her HAZMAT, it cut her off. She pulled out her tablet, and tapped a few buttons. Her suit's vocal transmitter crackled to life, her tired, monotone dialogue now clear.

AH: ...You should have given us a heads up before deciding to just walk in.

The figure stepped forward. The attire matched Alex's, a sterile white, tinted black glass visor, the several layers of rubber proving themselves cumbersome to this individual.

?: I am sorry, ma'am. I tried to get into contact with the Chief of Security and the Area Director, but they wouldn't respond fast enough.

AH: I'm surprised you even got a haz on.

?: You keep inventory. As you should.

Halo's eyes, obscured by the suit, try to survey this person. Unfortunately, this scan fails to gain purchase. Anyone could be anyone under that much rubber and metal.

AH: What can I do for you? I am rather busy.

?: I can see that. May we discuss this somewhere less..

The figure glances at the mass in the dish.

?: ...That. Please.

AH: Let me put this away, and flag my Director, and yes. Give me 2 hours.

The figure nods and exits the chamber after waiting for the tedious recycling of the doors. Halo lets out a mechanical sigh, and places a lid on the container, moving it to storage.

2 hours later, the fatigued Halo enters her office, the occasional security patrol's small talk running her dry of her social battery. Entering the code on her keypad, she enters her office, only to be greeted with the figure, a rather small woman in a dark grey suit with orange hair. Her eyes are obscured by her hair partially, but they appear brown. She stands up from the chair in front of Alex's desk, giving Halo an inviting bow. Alex doesn't reciprocate, only showing suppressed annoyance at the intrusion on her space.

AH: I wish you'd wait for me to let you in.

?: Alexander, you know why I am here.

AH: If it's about the project, the next trial is scheduled to happen Th-

The woman raises a hand to cut Alex off. Alex makes her way to her desk, begrudgingly sitting down, prompting the woman to lean forward. By her observation of Halo, her eyes have bags. One of her eyes changed pigments, now a deep red, with what looks like a burst blood vessel. Her neck also has faint scarring too, but she can barely see the full extent as it creeps down to the rest of Halo's torso. She doesn't comment, though Halo does pull her sweater up.

?: It did a number on you.

AH: I don't wish to speak on it.

?: Are you well af-

AH: I don't. Wish. To speak. On it.

?: ...Okay. Well, I have another thing to offer you.

AH: What.

?: An opportunity. You know that we've been watching you since we had you work on the projects we gave you.

AH: Indeed..

?: Well. It's time we make further use of you. You will have the option to work directly for Overwatch as one of our delegated assistants, but we need to keep a closer eye on you, you see.

AH: You want a secretary.

?: Me?- No- No no, I don't really mind either way.

The woman points behind her at nothing.

?: They want you. And it isn't a secretary.

AH: What is the work?

?: That I cannot tell you until you transfer. The paper work is here. A team will pick you up once you complete the paperwork.

AH: This- okay, one moment this is a lot at once, can I have a moment?

?: Of course. But, you will be putting your skills to a use far greater than your current station. And you get to make as much coffee as you wish. The decision is ultimately yours, however I would love to see you.

AH: ...

?: Think on it. Oh, and you can call me Morrigan.

AH: ...Mh.

Morrigan stands up, gives a formal bow, and moves quickly to leave the room.

M: Oh! You'll need a new outfit. We can arrange that for you, no worries.

She leaves, a polite, formal smile on her lips. A team of unmarked combatives follow her. They had a team waiting for if she said yes on the spot, it seems. Halo held the tablet in her hands, the transfer forms visible. They did everything already, all she had to do was send it to RAISA and she'd be reassigned. No one would know where she went.

She ponders for a moment, taking in everything that has happened in the last year and a half, staring at her tablet. With a tired sigh, she accepted the reality that was needing to know coffee preferences for the future, and... the product of the devil.. more paperwork.
