PREAMBLE: I’d just like to take the chance to say that some of the things in this application were copy pasted from my original one! I did this for two main reasons:
  • Because I still stand with what I said previously ( Namely the last question )
  • Because the critique given to me was positive and I genuinely believe it still works ( Some of the drawings + the “Contaminant Chaos” event idea )
Thank you for understanding!!

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:

I previously served as a mod that assisted with events in a previous SCP-related community I was in ( SCP:Secret Lab ); During my time there we had to think of unique approaches due to the fact that we were stuck on one single map - As I mentioned in my previous app, we’d change kits and models around to create new and interesting scenarios.

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:

I’ve done work on PAC3 before when I had the package as a mod on CN, I made use of slight changes and additions to tell small self-contained stories about any character I played. I feel like less is more and tiny touches make characters more unique than the usual elaborate PACs.

I’ve got a background in the arts as a Graphic Designer - Making logos, posters and similar works is my specialty but I personally prefer the role of a concept artist, making quick and easy-to-understand visuals for people to interpret any piece of lore I create is what gives me joy. I will post some things I’ve been working on lately below ( Some of these I posted in the previous one but I still like them and they’re related to SCP-RP lore I’ve written recently ).

As this is a bit of an older draft I’d also like to add: Since I’ve ascended to the role of Site Admin and become an RP leader I’ve discovered my love for creating sets - I.e. positioning props etc. and believe to be solid if not good with them and I wish to expand on that ( Check out the E&TS office on UK, although keep in mind I couldn’t complete it due to the ..very lovely pumpkins ( Thanks to SA Bear for helping <3 ) and the Site Admin office I share with Harvey ).

Mind you, I do these quickly and for fun but I still like how they turned out!

Waste disposal

20250911162345_1.jpg
Cut me some slack, working with ragdolls is hard!

Site Admin is furious about the current state of the facility and how dirty it has become, there’s trash bags all over the place and they need to be cleaned right away as they’re expecting a valuable Foundation investor to arrive shortly. Trash bags, palettes and other rubbish is left around the facility ( Medbay - DB - LCZ - MTF Loop - PW ). The site staff must work together with the rest of the facility to quickly clean this up before the investor arrives!

( This was written before I myself joined the ranks but I believe it’s still a fun enhancement )

Behind the Scenes

I will inform SA ( And if none are on, FCOM or their assistants ) about the incoming investor and tell them to walk around and check up on the state of the facility, at which point during their walk they will notice the trash bags, palettes and other sorts of waste I think of around site - They will then inform site staff to get to it and employ other departments to assist them with it as its an urgent matter ( People just sitting around medbay will be given orders to wake up and start helping out ) - People will then need to RP picking up litter and placing it in the ‘trash bags’ which I willissue them via a GM OBJ and then ‘wheel in’ some dumpsters or bins they can recycle or put their trash in. I and hopefully another member will then delete the items that “go into the trash can”.

If they clean up well, I will give them encouraging messages with the /it command like “/it The area around you looks much cleaner, seems like the work is paying off” ( and maybe give them some cash, I like wordplay ) or I might use C-SAY but unless there’s many people doing it I will avoid it. Once the facility has been cleaned, I will spawn in as the VIP with a PAC and proceed to walk around the facility, inspecting the chambers in LCZ and just talking to the staff, complimenting them on their clean and well-maintained facility.

If they don’t care or do little to no cleaning up, then I will comment on the ghastly state of the facility and ‘issue a complaint’ to Site Admin, which they will promptly chew out the rest of the facility for.

Ship Without a Captain

During their standard surface patrol, the GOC spot a random tugboat in one of the many lakes surrounding Pinewood. Upon closer inspection, it’s empty - How’d it even get there? Upon closer inspection the patrol squad overhears the boat’s helm playing morse code. It seems to be playing SOS as well as a certain message. What the hell happened here?

Behind the Scenes

I’ll place the tugboat in one of the many lakes around, probably the one at MC&D house and prepare a GM objective there that plays more code upon interaction - some simple message anyone with a bit of patience can decode - If it takes them too long I might give it out in form of a /it command. Upon deciphering it and inputting the right password or ‘command’ in the ship’s terminal they are transported to a custom built GM plane. I’d make a beach there with the support of whichever GM wants to partake. My idea is to recreate something like the feeling of the Port Noon event - Something calm and relaxing for a short while. They’d have some time to explore the beach and interact with a few items scattered around as well as a few characters. Other than the items, I’d create a landmark or two to intrigue them in the story of the characters. I’d ofc make a PAC by then, something resembling a captain of the boat, either with military decorations or a fisherman. The beach would also include a lighthouse they can scale and the same tugboat they were on in the distance. They’d be able to use the tugboat to return to Pinewood but it’d be a one-way trip. After a while, I’d play a sound of a storm building up using gm obj or pac3 and urge them to leave. Inevitably the tugboat would be swallowed by the sea or just disappear. The few remaining souls would be destined to certain death and be engulfed by the storm and perish, never to be seen again.

Betrayal from within

20250911211031_1.jpg

GOC have started receiving strange phone calls in their FOB and they don’t know where they’re coming from - Strange noises, breathing and other odd things seem to be seeping through the comms line - They’re scrambled and must search Pinewood for this prank caller. But a prank caller they do not find, their search leads them to a crime scene where a person was butchered using fishing equipment. Fear sets in among their ranks as gruesome murder like this is uncommon for a small town like Pinewood. They must carefully examine the scene of the crime and avoid any red herrings, murders will keep occuring and the bodies of those who helped with the case will soon be piling on, mostly on the lakes surrounding the area. They need to be careful though.. as any of the civvies.. or their own could be doing this..

Behind the Scenes

I would find a phone booth in Pinewood and use it to call the GOC, if I think none of them are good I’d use the GM plane one to call them. I’d use Soundpad or a voice changer to creep them out and eventually give them a hint to check out one of the houses ( Which I’ll pick at random ). Then they will roll out in order to investigate the crime scene. The scene itself will have some hints pertaining to the murderer - At first they’ll be minor hints but as the murders ramp up they’ll have a better understanding of who they’re dealing with. Eventually it’ll become clear they’re dealing with a reality bender.. and at that, one of their own. The hints will point them to his hiding place around lake house and once they arrive, I’ll teleport on the pier and surprise them all, starting the final battle ( I’ll give myself a bit more HP ) which will surely result in the murderer’s death. There’s always a possibility that SOP might get involved in this as dead bodies might get eyes on Pinewood which could potentially endanger their whole operation. GOC must work quickly too otherwise Parawatch might start reporting their activity and get a news team, which then endangers their Second mission!

Buried treasure

20251023172550_1.jpg

During a regular cleanup of the CI base a random member comes across an old note. The note gives them cryptic instructions about a buried treasure with ‘goodies’ for anyone that manages to decrypt it. The CI team, wishing to find these ‘goodies’ rush to find the treasure. Each area they find gives them a new hint on where to go, slowly drawing them to the treasure. CI must pool together their ideas and slowly decrypt the puzzles presented to them to find the new location. Will they find it or give up prematurely? What is even hidden? Is it even worth finding? I guess one can only.. find out.

Behind the Scenes

I’d ring up CI REGCOM and ask them to issue a command to clean the bunker in order to find “some valuable documents they misplaced” at which point I will spawn a GM objective crate that can give players mops and call it “Cleaning supplies” and if possible spawn some puddles for them to clean ( If not possible, ask for support ) - They will go around cleaning until one of them finds the note just left randomly ( another GM objective, like the newspaper ) which will tell them about the treasure - If they cannot find it, I will use a /it command to try and grab their attention. Once they’ve found it, they will begin searching for the treasure and pooling their intellect together - It will bring interesting discussions as they try and decipher the ciphers I’ll leave for them ( Something easy that they can Google quickly ) but if they don’t pick up on it, they will be given light hints to try and push them in the right direction - Each ‘area’ will have a small clue in the form of said GM OBJ which they will have to use to slowly piece together the final location of the hidden cache. If they all work together and cooperate well, they will find it and reap the rewards, if not they will waste their own time and some civvies or MC&D will be given hints themselves in order to put some pressure on the CI.

Once they find it, they’ll dig it up and get a note “Maybe the treasure was the friends we made along the way” and they’ll either flip the note and find something telling them to dig below or they’ll do it on their own. If not I might use an /it command to hint one last time that there might be something below like “/it Something is glistening at the bottom of the ditch”. If there’s a money pile I will spawn it in and give the players attending a nice cash prize ( For which SL will reimburse me… right? ) and maybe a small box of some unique guns they can play around with ( Nothing OP!! ).

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:

Contaminant Chaos

The air around site-65 is usually a bit stuffy, that’s just how it is in an underground facility but now it feels a bit stuffier than usual.. Certain areas ( or an area ) of the facility seem(s) to be emitting an odd odor and certain members of staff are coughing up a green / yellow liquid. The medical department is tasked with working alongside E11 to quarantine off the area and treat the sick people, they are to constantly be in touch with Site Admin to coordinate an effective quarantine. In the meantime, site staff ( techies ) are tasked with finding the foul odor and opening up the ventilation system and dealing with it appropriately.

Behind the scenes

I would select a random area of the facility and wait for people to pass by, something with a lot of foot traffic like 1162 / HCZ CP / MTF loop. Then as people pass by, I’d hit them with the ‘effect’ ( i.e. give them a screen prompt ), eventually someone is bound to report it over COMMS that they are feeling ill and ‘begin’ the event. If no one goes for a medical check up and interacts with other people, I’ll progress their mutation stage - I’d start slowly with coughs and skin irritations and later progress to changing their physical colour. If nothing is done about it however, late-stage kicks in and they become aggressive. They are then given either the 9000 or 049-2 SWEP and let loose on the members of the facility. If the medical team is fast with their quarantine they’re given extra time in order to find the cure. I’d make it a combination of some easy-to-acquire surface chemicals which most people will have access to and if not they can send NU7 / DEA to find some or even request GOC to provide them with some. GOC of course could be involved in this too to help with the quarantine.

Map Change - Cold, Cold North

MAP: Gm_Boreas

This event is meant to mirror the one which introduced the... indescribable Apex guns because I genuinely liked how they presented it and wanted to do something similar for the new Orange suit.

[ OVER THE RADIO ]

*Radio Static*

225th FOB, do you read me? I repeat.. 225th FOB do you copy? Ah, there you are. This is Bluebird. This terrible weather up No-th is messing with our comms line.

Listen, the lads up stairs want me to pass along a mess-ge, sounds to me like they’re nearing the completion of that new me- suit they’ve been working on and since they we- satisfied with your previous work with the arms te-ing they want you back for another trial -n.

I don’t recommend using any -rial units as the storm’s ramping up, you’ll n-d to use your hummers instead. Also it seems like s- insur- h-e s-t u-

. . .

*Static*

It seems like one of the bases up North is doing a trial run on the new Mk III Ultra Heavy Engagement Chassis. It seems to be nearing completion but as they’ve neared completion they’ve started seeing more and more people in the surrounding region. So far they’ve had no interaction but they seem to be armed.

You’re stuck in the South and can only use your ground forces to move up as the horrid weather has shut down the skies.

Behind the Scenes

Length of event:
~1-2 hrs

I COULDN'T ATTACH ANY MORE FILES SO I'LL LINK TO THE BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF THE MAP AND THE PACING <~

This is a MASSIVE project which will require lots of GMs / volunteers to assemble and partake in. Firstly, we’d have to rebuild the map to fit our narrative, from setting up roadblocks to observing and changing the pacing of the event. My plan is to make it SKIRMISH ~> RP SECTION ~> TESTING THE NEW TOYS ~> DEFENSE ~> MAJOR COUNTER-ATTACK WITH THE NEW EQUIPMENT ~> RETURN AND DEBRIEF. The map will be properly decorated and certain areas will be deemed ‘out of bounds’ ( Mines and tank traps set up ). The areas which will need most attention will be the roadblocks we set up ( Wherever we choose to ) as well as the facility, the ‘testing grounds’, the airfield and lastly the insurgent base. The insurgent team will be a GOI of our collective choosing, we could go for a CI cell or get more creative about it. Foreign sounding characters will be desirable and I will involve myself in playing as one of the baddies ( Maybe some evil announcer or the final boss ).

The Skirmish Section exists to build up tension, telling the incoming forces that THEY are the foreign force here and need to be careful where they tread. Making the GOC feel tension as they drive through the barren and snowy wasteland.

The RP Section and Testing Section will ease them in a little, there they’ll be talking to the GOC characters, namely the chief of the facility which will give some details on the newly build Orange Suit, there they can ask for details and get a better feel for it. Then they’ll move onto the testing range and hopefully we can fit everyone if not the majority in the timeframe of testing the suit - From movement to utilising its guns etc. Maybe give it a quicker cooldown or something similar.

The Defense Section will have them using the new Orange Suits, the more the merrier while others will be given some other form of fun equipment / vehicles to partake. They’ll have to defend the plane - I was thinking something huge like the Antonov series of aeroplanes with its 6 rotary engines. The plane will have to be defended for a certain amount of time while insurgent forces comprised of bots and players will attack - Vehicles and foot soldiers alike. Once they’ve successfully defended the plane, they’ll be debriefed on the situation. Orders will be given to assault the insurgent base to crush the encirclement and free up the skies from the AA cannons.

The Counter-Attack Section will allow them to take the battle to the enemy, the Osuits will be transported via helicopter ( Considering their speed ) and the rest will roll out in hummers and tanks in a convoy. They’ll battle it out and capture the station and talk with the enemy commander before dispensing justice.

Afterwards, they’ll return to the Antonov plane and be debriefed. After that the event will end and they’ll be allowed to return to their respective servers.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.

As I stated before - There’s lots of amazing events with unique and interesting storylines all the time but I’d like to bring a more friendly and relaxing ‘vibe’ to future events. Maybe not the ones I’ve mentioned but I’d like to give people time to relax and not think too deeply about every event. Think of the cat event from a while back or a mouse in the GOC bunker, something along those lines.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?

One of the things I’d like to do is what I just mentioned. I’d like to bring a more casual and fun feeling to events, focus more on making them more fun, if not outright funny. Not to say that such events don’t exist but I feel like they’re few and far between and focus has shifted on more ‘serious’ events which end up feeling stale and boring - Too much talking and too little action.

Which brings me to my next point, I want to bring some more action into Site-65 and ‘animate’ people more. Give them a reason to move around rather than stand still and talk for a long time - Even if it’s a short / small event, giving people a reason to actually move somewhere instead of stare at the ceiling is one of my priorities, even now without it I encourage it in the form of patrols and similar activities.

I just want to give people something fun to do - From making interesting events to the small yet potent RP enhancements. RP enhancements are something I especially like the idea of and wish I could do lots!

I’d also like to get some repeatable events going, something people can look forward to in the future - namely the ‘night market’ event. It showing up every other week or even just monthly might get players excited for the new edition or give them another opportunity to try the WW2 guns or whatever else they might buy. It’d also serve as an excellent template to try out new unique ideas that aren’t worth doing on their own!

Lastly, I want to help with the workload. I often see ideal roleplay situations that have to be halted and staff has to be called over instead of just naturally flowing.

UPDATE: Fixed grammatical errors and some titles. Also added links to screenshots to prove time ( Sorry it looks bad but there's a 10 image limit per post it seems ).
