Why are you applying for Site Advisor?

Site-65 needs to run like a well-oiled machine and Site Admin needs to make sure of that, I want to be able to partake in that process and make sure it does. I’ve always been a fan of management, keeping things in check and providing the correct materials and resources to ‘construct’ the ideal base or group. For this exact reason I’ve enjoyed both ECA and OSA and in turn learnt a good bit about the site and how it operates.

Besides my fascination with management, I also like sorting people out – Helping out where I can and making sure their needs are met. I’ve done such things as an ECA and OSA back in the day but I always wanted to do more and of course, without the approval of the E.C. and O5 it was hard to pull off, with Site Admin I’d be given more freedom to actually help the different departments flourish and grow.

Of course, as everyone likes to repeat – With great power comes great responsibility, and that of Site Admin in OOC is to create roleplay and give people something to do – I want to be able to ( as we say in my country ) ‘animate’ people. Give them tasks they could do reliably and have said tasks be something they’d actually enjoy doing. Of course this would be trickled down from department heads but still, being able to give people something to do would put a smile on my face.

Lastly, due to the recent and unfortunate exodus of Site Admin staff like the saddening removals and resignations Site Admin has lost a LOT of its players. I’d like to use my previous experience to hopefully fill the hole that remains and follow in the footsteps of previous Site Admin players., Should I pass, I’d do my utmost to make them proud and create new and fun experiences for all.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:

Experience

I’ve said it so many times that it feels wrong but it’s true – I’m an old school player with a good amount of RP time under my belt. I’ve played both combative and non-combative roles and from that I’ve gathered tons of experience, lots of which is based on pure RP. These roles have taught me valuable lessons in leadership, roleplay, writing and diplomacy. I’ve been around the site for a long time and despite my recent return have adjusted to the new way of life well. I believe that these experiences, both new and old have shaped me into a better player and far better roleplayer.

To add, I’ve been in several jr. CL4 positions ( Both assistants and GSD CPT ) which have granted me valuable knowledge in the grand portrait of S65.

Leadership

I’ve spent a good chunk of time in some sort of leadership ( GSD CPT / GOC 1SGT / E11 LR-1 ) or semi-leadership ( Assistant ) position. I believe that my leadership skills are solid. I work off the principle of incentives. I understand what makes people WANT to do things rather than forcing them which has granted me much success in the past and still continues to pay dividends. Being a good leader requires one to be a good listener and hear out what those under their command require to function properly and I believe I’ve done a swell job so far. This ties well into Site Admin’s roles as their duty is to manage the different departments and ensure they’ve got the right paperwork and equipment.

Communication

Personally, I’d like to believe that I’m a rather communicative person which is rather important when it comes to managing the many different departments of Site-65. I relatively often engage in conversation with the different department heads to inquire about their respective departments and if anything I’d say so far I’ve had cordial relations with most. Knowing they have an open line of communication that’s available rather often ensures that any problems that arise can be dealt with swiftly. This ties greatly into my next point…

Availability

Truth be told, I’m quite often available – If not directly in game, people can always catch me in external comms talking and can ping me for whatever reason. I’ve never had a problem replying swiftly. Having someone who you can contact whenever and get a swift reply is important for any managerial position and I aim to please.

Documentation

In spite of being an ESL I love writing documents, getting honest but fair critiques and adjusting my writing. I’ve been writing documents for a while now – Mostly as an assistant but I’ve also written quite a few for GOC. One of my more impactful works has to be my document on the different classes of amnestics, from Class A to Class F. The document serves to introduce operatives to the different classes and their effects so that they know how and when to administer them in the field. I also assumed the role of “main writer for event SCPs” during my earlier stay in GOC and hope to regain that role now. I believe I’ve improved significantly over time and have reached a point where my documentation can be read easily and is interesting to engage with.

Diplomacy

Most of my diplomatic knowledge comes from being GOC, a very RP-heavy faction that relies a bit on the SCP foundation. This also ties into the aforementioned communication. For example, I took part in the GOC - F peace agreements after one of the O5s decided to start a war for no reason. Due to these lobby meetings ( There was no meeting room at the time ) we managed to acquire white peace and return to good relations.

Having the ability to resolve situations diplomatically and peacefully is rather important for a group that manages the entire site. Knowing how to resolve internal disputes is as important as resolving external disputes which might arise at any point for whatever reason. Knowing how to stomp them out and reaffirm positive relations is a trait that anyone that considers applying for Site Admin ought to have.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

Site Administration has a variety of responsibilities to attend to as they manage the site. Among their duties are:

  • Ensuring that departments have leadership and communicating with said leadership. This includes MTF units.
  • Managing the different departments and communicating with its respective director(s)
  • Appointing new directors when old ones leave / are removed with the exception of RSD and ISD ( Which are picked by SC and EC respectively )
  • Appointing new MTF COMs ( Except AO )
  • Being the first line of communication for departments
  • Resolving any on-site emergencies and authorizing AA when necessary.
  • Departmental management:
  • Departmental reviews
  • Departmental audits if they’re failing
  • Observing and noting departmental performance
  • Authorization of tests that did not require ethical testing parameters.
  • Tribunal of staff for low level offenses and being an impartial judiciary on behalf of ISD with the approval of the E.C.
  • Supervision of GOI relations with the site.
  • Authorization of partial site closure for trainings or events
  • Appointment as well as management of Site Admin staff
  • Management of site-wide policies whilst working with Site Command

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

PREAMBLE:

The story of Luka Dalmatinac is a bit of a long one. I've added his previous stroylines ( I decided to go down his ECA storyline ( as opposed to the OSA one )) so you can read his entire story if you wish. His GSD and ECA lore is a bit older but I still feel like it holds weight and it still has a place in my heart. And yes, I'm aware of the irony and his character transformation, it's kind of purposeful!! Regardless, I hope you enjoy!

Right after completing police academy, Luka swiftly joined the police force and was sworn-in at the regional police office and issued a SIG Sauer 226 sidearm. He did whatever he could to win the hearts of the locals despite his ‘French mouth’ and some took warmth to it. He had also made sure to improve on himself whenever he could.

Luka spent a good bit of time doing office work, as was the reality of being a police officer sometimes, but he engaged in a few shootouts where he showed some skill with his firearm. He eventually had made it to sergeant, soon he might’ve been offered the position of detective sergeant but that all changed one evening when Luka received a call about a suspicious person around a local grocery store “Another regular code-917, most likely someone loitering and being awkward” - he thought as the snows of N[REDACTED] [REDACTED] fell, but unbeknownst to him, he was about to confront an escapee, one that had previously held the title D-[REDACTED]. The Class-D ran off and was chased down by Luka, eventually ending the chase in a construction site whose occupants had just left.

Unfortunately for the sergeant, the Class-D subject was under the effects of SCP-[REDACTED BY ???] which made him much harder to apprehend, especially when he pulled out a long army knife on the sergeant. Despite bringing a knife to a gunfight he managed to harm the sergeant in several areas and left a nasty scar going up Luka’s left arm. However, the sergeant eventually managed to terminate the Class-D subject despite sustaining heavy wounds. Luckily the foundation’s medical staff were able to treat his wounds and get him stable due to their knowledge of SCPs and their effects, any normal hospital would’ve been useless or would’ve suspected something about these ‘peculiar wounds’. As he was being rolled into the medical facilities the senior foundation members were shocked as it was unexpected to see a civilian in the facility but the MTF PI-1 Leftenant [REDACTED] saw potential in the sergeant and once he had stabilised he was presented with the offer – “Either join the Foundation and expand on your experience, learn and become a much stronger individual or you will forget about this entire event and return to your boring life writing pointless documents in a damp office”. Luka chose to stay.

After the incident the locals who could’ve been also exposed to the entity or might’ve witnessed the event were amnesticated and the Foundation launched a massive misinformation campaign, ‘gang violence’ was blamed and it was reported that both the assailant and sergeant had died during it. Officially speaking, Luka is deceased.

Luka spent a lot of time working hard as a General Security Department Captain, he put in a lot of hours and made sure to work with higher clearance personnel as much as he could, assiting Internal Affairs and making sure that D-bloc remains safe and ethical – During which he spent a lot of his time writing up documents, submitting ideas and being there for the Chiefs of Security whenever they needed him – Sure, he had become a bit of an errand boy for the department but it didn't matter, what did matter however was that his constant work and manners kept him in the position he enjoyed. He enjoyed his work so much that he decided to sign up with the Academy of Security which he held dear to his heart, he made friends there, fine people who taught him many things about Site-65 and its inner workings, he used this knowledge wisely and always made sure to pass new ideas and suggest changes on how to improve the Site and his department.

He had kept up the good work but had noticed that some of his men lacked the same ethical and peace-orianted nature. He wanted D-bloc to remain bloodless but he couldn't do all the work alone .. so he decided to work more and more closely with Internal Affairs Agents and Ambassadors as well as their Director to make sure that those who just wanted to hurt others and expressed their rage at Class-D personnel were jailed and penalised for their wrongdoings and that those who were less informed knew what was going on – As always, law and order were top priorities for him.

Funny that.. law.. speaking of which – One day as he was enjoying his coffee and observing D-bloc he noticed odd yelling in the distance ..it was usual to hear researchers go off on tangents and get loud over time or even yell at fellow workers for not following protocol but something was odd.. the yelling kept getting closer and closer and as he turned around to ask one of his men what was going on – what seemed like a member of the research department was running into D-bloc past all the opened doors broken by a recent outage with O-1 operatives chasing after him, he yelled a lot of classified information mentioning SCP-008, 682 and 079 – The researcher was promptly shot by GSD guards manning airlock but unfortunately he was holding onto clearance 4 classified documentation which the Class-D personnel took and scattered. General Security Department troops were quickly mobilised and the blast doors were closed for the Captain to do his sweep breifing, he was of course joined by said O-1 operatives to ensure that the files are recovered and to ensure that the Code of Ethics is enforced.

The blast doors opened with a creak as a couple of flash bangs went off, the guards slowly made their way in and secured the perimiter while assisted by O-1 from the balcony, these men were trained marksmen after all.. The sweep was going well, class-D personnel were searched and the files recovered and as they were about to be given exfill orders, the Captain dropped his guard for a few seconds, enough time for Class-D personnel to pull out a glass shard and attampt to stab him in the neck but in the last possible second a shot rang out – The Captain suddenly saw a red mist on his visor, the Class-D was shot.. a better word would be 'executed' by the operatives on the balcony – He had never felt so safe in his life than under the protection of these elite units – He felt he could put his trust in them and their work.

The sweep ended with the debrief and the men were rotated, the ones currently stationed were taken by O-1 and promptly amnesticated for knowing CL4 documentation via Class-E while some other operatives held D-bloc. The Captain in the meantime was taken to the Ethics Committee offices where he was confronted by the Committee and their chairman, they had kept an eye on him via IA to ensure that D-bloc was following their standards and followed his journey as a part of Academy of Security – they closely monitored his document writing as well as his interdepartmental relationship building. They had seen the potential in the man to be of great use for them and his loyalty seemed unbreakable so they thought that he'd make an amazing addition to their committee but since he was already a GenSec Captain they decided it'd be best if he served as their their left hand man.. their assistant.

Time passed in the blink of an eye for the young man. It’s as if time itself warped around him and blended all into one big mess. Friends, enemies, people of all sorts and events that had occurred all seemed so distant to him. From 2023, 2024 and early 2025 all seemed foreign now.

Wake up.

Luka couldn’t complain much. He had achieved success by being an assistant. He enjoyed his duties quite a bit and never grew bored of his work, especially considering he was surrounded by great people. The job of an assistant was plagued with paperwork and continuous conversations with the many departments of Site-65 but that was nothing Luka couldn’t overcome even if some talks with the eggheads of RSD would go on for hours..

However, he noticed something in these talks with the different CL4 personnel – As these people came to know Luka and became friendly with him, they started to speak ill about the current state of the facility. Funding not being approved, simple repairs not being done, groups of people losing their positions due to documents that weren’t confirmed by the site managerial staff. Site Administration, which was once active and often seen around site-65, was now gone. People could spot a lone advisor here and there, carrying letters and avoiding small talk as if it was the plague itself.

It was rather odd – How is it that the once lively members of Site Admin were avoiding contact and where even were they? His curiosity had kept him up for many sleepless nights, where he snuck out to surface without his O-1 bodyguards to sit under the starry sky of Pinewood, albeit within the foundation’s walls. The guards saw him but learnt to not care as they knew him as an odd but otherwise calm man. Befriending site staff had paid off..

During one of these nights while he sat looking at the connected stars of Ursa Major, he too connected some dots. The next day he confronted the lone Site Manager in his office – Under pressure he admitted the truth: “I am what remains of Site Admin!”. It was odd – “I would’ve noticed it” he thought to himself but the truth remained – Site Administration only consisted of one man. It appears that rumors spread amongst the Site Admin staff about the hospitalization of one of their members – They blamed it on the ‘higher ups’ and some, out of fear of being the next target, requested transfers or outright quit their position, leaving one person to do the entire workload. Site Command, wanting to maintain order, kept it all classified.

Luka, seeing the man struggle, wanted to do something – For both the manager and Site-65 as a whole. So he began assisting the lone manager, reviewing documents, approving tests and chatting with the many departments. His workload doubled but by this point he had enough experience to sort documentation within hours.

He grew to love these new responsibilities, it was like a calling. He had helped the site manager but their work was just getting started. Seeing that Ethics had a good few assistants already and knowing he could do more for the site, he requested a transfer into Site Admin. Seeing his efforts and dedication, the powers that be accepted his transfer and allowed him to contribute more to the site.

Site Administration would be reborn once more.

What RP have you made recently?
Recently I was mostly doing GOC RP. Some of that was internal RP, stuff like documents and such while the other part consists of making plans and agreements with SOP ( I hope you understand that I'm not going to disclose what ).

From the F side I mostly go where needed but since I spend a good chunk of my time as a combat med I get involved with medical RP. Did a number of psych evals and engaged in some event stuff ( Recently, "the red crystal series" as well as "the phrase that hurts you", Idk how to call them exactly but respective GMs would know ).
