Why are you applying for Site Advisor?

During my time at Site-65, I’ve worked across both the Research Department and various cross-department projects through leading studies, coordinating with other teams, and helping shape plans that improved communication and structure. These experiences showed me that the site works best as a connected ecosystem, not just a group of separate departments. I want to build on that understanding and take it even further.

The Site Advisor position is a natural evolution of what I have done so far and what I’ve built my priorities on. It gives an opportunity where I can help refine policy, encourage collaboration between departments, and ensure our projects align with the site's wider goals. I’m not applying to hold a title. I’m applying because I see potential in making the site more cohesive, efficient, and creative.

I’ve always found that the most important thing for cohesion is organisation, documentation, and problem-solving. Site Administration perfectly embodies those traits, being a role that balances leadership with diplomacy and creativity with structure. I agree with that mindset and wish to help reinforce the professionalism and standards that Site Administration is known for.

I’m confident that my experience, approachable nature, and focus on clear communication and continuous improvement would make me a strong addition to the administrative team.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?

I believe I’m suitable for Site Administration because most of the work I’ve done on the server has already been in that direction through helping departments structure themselves, creating documentation people actually use, and keeping RP moving rather than blocking it or trying to end encounters as quickly as possible.

Executive Researcher Performance. Since joining the Research Department as an Executive, I’ve consistently been recognised for my performance and reliability, earning Executive of the Week multiple times in a row. I take pride in going above and beyond to help junior researchers, guiding them through documentation standards and assisting with cross-department collaboration when needed. I made personalised presentations based on the standards I would like to see within the department. In addition, I’m currently establishing a Project Management sub-regiment designed to coordinate personnel from multiple departments on larger site projects. This initiative reflects the kind of structured, interdepartmental collaboration that Site Administration encourages, and it’s something I’m proud to be developing as a foundation for future site-wide cooperation.

Broad department exposure. I’ve spent time working with Research, Medical and E-11 projects, so I’m used to seeing the site from more than one angle. That makes it easier to give feedback that isn’t biased toward a single department. Site Advisors need to be able to look at a department and say, “this is working, this isn’t, here’s how we could fix it” without stepping on their toes. That’s something I’ve already been doing informally, such as my collaborative work with the consultants in the Medical Department to overhaul their documentation practices.

Strong documentation and standards mindset. A lot of my contributions on the server have been document-based, experiments, project writeups, internal posters, and guides. With my time within research, I always had the personal policy of making my next project better than the last, leading to a very strong portfolio of documents and projects. Site Administration often ends up being the place people go to ask “what is the actual policy?” or “can we make this clearer?” I’m good at turning messy information into something readable and consistent, and I’m happy to do that kind of maintenance work that most people don’t want to do.

Professional, not confrontational. One of the big parts of Site Administration is dealing with departments that don’t always agree with each other. I’m comfortable having those conversations without making it personal. Often, you need to play the part of an impartial mediator, which I have already had plenty of experience in during my time on the site. And, if something needs to be changed, I can explain why and ensure to loop in the department leads rather than rewriting their work over their head.

Reliability and follow-through. A lot of site projects die because nobody finishes them, or they are never followed through in a timely manner. I’m used to taking an idea (policy changes, project briefs, research initiatives) and actually writing it up, formatting it, and getting it to the people who need it. Site Administration would be a fantastic place for me to apply my processes regarding efficient and timely processing.

Because of all that, I think I’d fit well into Site Administration as someone who can: monitor departments fairly, give constructive feedback, help standardise documentation, and support command without trying to run their departments for them.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?

Site Administration serves as central management for all site operations. Their role is to keep the facility organised, professional, and functioning smoothly on a daily basis. This includes supervising departments, maintaining stability, and making sure proper procedures are consistantly followed. They also play a key part in department coordination, ensuring communication and cooperation remain steady across all branches of the site.

Leadership & Department Oversight
Site Administration appoints, supervises, and evaluates Department Directors and MTF Commanders, excluding divisions such as ISD and A-1, which are governed separately. Each administrator is assigned one or more departments to monitor, ensuring leadership stays active and standards ar upheld. Regular departmental reviews and audits are carried out to track performance and overall efficiency.
  • Conducting monthly departmental reviews and audits to assess performance and engagement.
  • Monitoring command teams to ensure consistency, professionalism, and transparency.
  • Offering feedback and support to departmental leadership to strengthen structure and cohesion.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for command staff when a higher authority is required or the chain of command is disrupted.

Policy & Site Management

One of the biggest responsibilities of Site Administration is maintaining the site’s policies and operational standards. Working directly with Site Command, Site Administrators ensure that all rules and procedures are up to date and relevant.
  • Reviewing existing policies and suggesting revisions when possible issues arise.
  • Drafting and implementing new policies in collaboration with Site Command to address any gaps.
  • Authorising key documents, such as inter-department testing proposals.
  • Maintaining the overall flow of administrative documentation to ensure it remains accurate and accessible.

Operational & Emergency Response Duties

Site Administration also acts as the on-site management authority during emergencies or large events. They ensure resources, personnel, and priorities are correctly distributed to protect the site’s interests.
  • Authorising Advanced Armoury usage when appropriate.
  • Coordinating emergency responses during breaches, Code 1s, and Code Blacks.
  • Overseeing the temporary closure of areas for cross-training, maintenance, or site drills.
  • Working closely with MTF and department leadership to ensure smooth coordination, and containment efficiency.
Judiciary & Accountability
Site Administration plays a key role in maintaining internal discipline and fairness within the Foundation. They assist in handling minor offences and disputes through formal tribunal processes, ensuring that all actions are conducted impartially.
  • When authorised, Site Administration may also act as neutral representatives of the Ethics Committee.
  • Ensuring investigations and outcomes are documented clearly and handled professionally.

Site Cohesion & Situational Awareness

Site Administration is expected tohave knowledge of most if not all operations ongoing. They must understand how every department functions, ensuring cross-department collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Staying informed on leadership changes, departmental updates, and current policy enforcement.
  • Maintaining diplomacy between regiments and departments.
  • Encouraging professionalism, and clear communication no matter the clearance level.
  • Supporting ongoing initiatives that enhance the quality of RP, collaboration and documentation.
Site Administration exists to keep the Foundation structured, efficient, and stable, balancing authority with collaboration, and ensuring that every part of the site operates as unified as possible.

I've had great interactions with Walter on site and feel like his personality and work ethic would be very fitting for a site advisor !
