Why are you applying for Site Advisor?: The best answer I could give you in one sentence is; "I believe it's where I fit in the server right now, and I believe it'd be the best use of my skills to actively contribute to the server and roleplay generation." I've kind of been in a flux recently about my position on the server and what sort of engagement and activity I'd like to be doing, but then I noticed when playing Nu-7, when helping other departments on ISD specifically with my operations and also general roleplay generation; I just like the chance to be in a role that is directly oriented to working with others, especially with chances for improvement. I fondly recall my previous time in Site Administration where the core of myself, Naffen and Scotsman kept running things for a long time before I moved on to O5-3, and I feel like a second go of it working with other Departments as proactively as possible is what I'd like to do at the moment in order to get the best out of my and others time on the server.

I also feel like my recent work both with combative and non-combative regiments gives me a very broadened outlook that will be useful to Site Administration right now, as I have insight I can offer to the state of various departments as well as the sentiment about various situations on the Site that will be useful for their purpose of overlooking and improving where possible.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?: I think it's best to go over something that may have others concerned about if I'm unsuitable first; Activity. It goes without saying, and I agree wholeheartedly, that my reason for no longer having a tenable position as DoISD was my lack of activity. This was due to a combination of a new job and actively ramping up university obligations at semester end, where I simply had 0 time to get on the server at a peak time. Remmy, Pennington, Broda and others are fully aware of this fact and I agree. I can say wholeheartedly that these problems are currently fully alleviated, and I believe I currently have a KTime this month of about 2 days, with activity logged on nearly every single day. This shows that I am able to be an active in-game presence for SA, which I think is important.

Onto things that do make me suitable;

Skills gained through Previous Experience: It goes without saying that a position in Foundation Command, Site Administration, Departmental Leadership and a leadership responsibility in Nu-7 have given me plenty of opportunities to learn and understand the importance of the work around the Site and how Senior CL4+ contribute to it. I have learned that I need a dynamic approach to engaging with various departments, due to different people having different needs, as well as how to arrange and delegate work where required whilst also working with other members of my team, for example in Internal Affairs. This is not a job in SA that can be accomplished alone and I fully expect to be working with my fellow members and Foundation Command in a very proactive and frequent fashion in order to succeed and generate as much worth out of the position as possible.

I've also had plenty of opportunities to be at the helm of roleplay participation and creation, with particular examples that I recall best being my storyline towards the end of 2024 involving Cece and Neptune's treason, as that involved nearly every department on the Site at one point and was an active scenario to create combative and non-combative roleplay. Recently, I've also been in a lot of back and forth with Alpha-1 and Omega-1, working both with and against them as required due to various treasonous or otherwise dilemna based actions they've committed, such as directly attacking and drugging witnesses of their crimes to conceal the truth. I've worked with the respective MTF CO's to generate passive build up over this scenario. I'd also say that my gradual work over The Blackbird since it's return has been a consistent demonstration of maintainable quality RP, involving various GMs at different points and spanning passive work with Research to complicated interactions with Site Command.

Documentation Creation: I've had several roles on the server that require organisational skills and the ability to create accurate, high-quality documents and I have succeeded in this at most junctures. Examples include my various O5 orders and initiatives created during my -3 tenure, my ISD Handbooks that were created to be a comprehensive and helpful guide for all members of the Department when they advanced to the Whitelisted roles, as well as various IC documents that chronicle entire event storylines from start to finish. One of my earliest works that I remain proud of is my full chronology timeline of an old event from either 2022 or 2023 that had a mysterious hole in MTF Training Room appear, with the document being over 15 pages of combined headcam accounts, as well as my own personal insight and theories into what was located.

Future-Oriented Mindset: Even though I'd like to stick with Site Administration for the foreseeable future, I'm also aware that circumstances happen and at any given moment, I may need to step down. I actively view CL4 roles as being an opportunity to train, teach and experience learning with those who are currently in the CL3 phase of things, as they eventually will be the ones who take positions that we may vacate. This is the logic I used when creating the handbooks above; I wanted to make sure that even if I had stepped down from DoISD, resources were there to still provide education for those who may need it. The same can be said for my Research Initiative back as O5-3, where I was actively trying to push a struggling research department to onboard new members and get them retained by any means necessary, in order to bulk up the ranks and make their lives easier.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

Site Administration comes with responsibilities that are vital to the functioning of the Site. These range from the oversight and direction leading changes that can be made to the Departments on the Site via policy changes and implementation, the approval and acceptance of various CL4 spots within the Server such as the Chief of Security, Director of Medicine and Director of Research (Note, the Site Director has final say, but Advisors are expected to give input). Fellow Advisors will also review applications for SA from new applicants, as the voting and progression to the interview process does require input of all involved for a majority vote. Site Administration will also sign off on major policy documents that may be implemented into the Site for new guidelines for staff to follow, and may also be expected to update and revise old documents that may be beginning to show signs of age due to the constantly developing nature of the Site.

Site Administration also have some basic responsibilities on the Site as part of the gameplay loop, such as the authorisation of AA for breaches where necessary (though this responsibility isn't exclusive to them), the approval of certain documentations and proposals where necessary from members of Research and Security, as well as ordering and chairing meetings where required to be a positive influence on those who need assistance from SA.

Site Administration will also need to work HEAVILY with Foundation Command and Departmental Leadership. It's easy to think of SA as the bridge of the gap between these two; Foundation Command has so much work to do that they cannot see everything for every department without an extra set of eyes. SA is expected to be proactive, approachable and helpful so that the Site has its needs met, but that also any concerns can be resolved either by themselves or passed up to Command where required.

Site Administration also are obligated to handle issues regarding GOIs where possible. The easiest citable way to demonstrate this is changing relations, as the server is no doubt aware of the GOC and the recent war that's been declared. If I am not mistaken, before this happened, I am pretty sure that Broda set up a very diplomatic and important meeting between both parties before the descent into hostility began, showcasing SA's role as a diplomatic bastion for the Foundation where necessary.

Overall, their duties can be summed up as maintenance and improvement. Looking after Departments and members of staff where necessary when things begin to go astray, as well as creating and iterating on existing policies and procedures when required to continue the positive server health and quality of roleplay that should be strived for at all times.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

In order to reduce the amount of links I'm posting per application, I've created a hub for all the lore I've wrote. Please use it at your leisure here.

Hello so the reasoning behind this feedback is due to the lack of activity you've shown, although you have very much proven yourself in RP. I would like to give you + Support but the activity part is not fantastic.
I'll neutral for this reason as well, if you could provide a VTime screenshot to prove otherwise then I can change as I know you're more than capable of the position

Before my departure from the community, he had been active almost everyday within DEA. I have seen him interacting with others within his other role of inspector as well

+ Support

Great asset to the community, will do well to bluster SA with it's current state

@Grong @Alex Bones A fair point of concern from you both and I thank you for bringing it up, I probably should have included my KTime in the first place and I'm actually sorry I didn't. Please see the attached: As you can see, a consistent activity across the month. It's not the highest, but SA have already contacted me in private to discuss further details that I'd rather not post in a fully public forum. I intend to keep going with my activity but hope this is already a sufficient basis. Thank you. 1736099010097.png
