Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?

I am applying to Director of Internal Security because I believe I can help bring ISD back on track. I enjoying being apart of the department and I enjoy what comes with the job. Helping the Site as well as other ISD members brings me a lot of joy and by being Director of ISD means I can do more for the department. I have done a lot of work on ISD, mainly maintaining relationships with other departments and handling a lot of rough situations. If I were to get Director, I feel like I would be able to do a lot more for ISD and I would be able to do what I love, which is helping out others and doing what I can to keep peace between all.

What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:

I believe I am suitable for Director of Internal Security due to knowing the ins and outs of ISD as well as I am very active on site. I am quiet well known amongst the site as apparently being wholesome, fair and accessible. I do believe if I become Director I will be able to help mend the relationships around the site as well as help ISD become stronger and more reliable. I also aim to keep ISD to keep up to date on the FLC's.

I am always willing to help all ISD with training, managing documents, keeping an eye on operations, creating operations and making sure the FLC is held to the correct standards. I will also make sure to give ISD more opportunity to do more, such as escorting, doing more with other departments and creating stronger relations with other departments. ISD is always held a strong place in my heart so I always do my best to make sure things are running smoothly. I aim to make sure ISD to keep their behaviour to be more professional as well as that they do not bend or break the FLC. I also delegate duties to ISD to allow other to have more experience. I have also taken on a lot of duties of ISD, where I have had to act for more than one person. I have had many departments tell me that I am one member of ISD that they do trust to handle everything correctly and professionally.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:

These are the key things that as a Director of Internal Security should be focusing on as well as being active on site and in externals. As well as making sure ISD and and themselves are upholding the FLC to a high standard and making sure Foundation personal are, this will mean as Director if you see anyone breaking the FLC you take quick and professional action to arrest them. Depending on the FLC being broken it can lead to an investigation/operation which will have to be overseen, as in the past we have had a few where many unnecessary audits were conducted on the same department repeatedly and some turned into witch hunts which is not at all needed, warranted and disgusting behaviour.

- Relationship Management: As a Director, it is their responsibility to make sure that relations between ISD and other departments are good. It is also their responsibility to make sure that relations within ISD are strong, and that they are all working well as a team.
- Maintaining Standards: To ensure that ISD are acting professional, that commissioners are doing their duties (such as keeping on top of their branch and enforcing the guidelines). It is very important that ISD keeps their standards up, else ISD will go to ruins.
- Investigations and Documents: This will require working with the branch that handles these two important parts for ISD. It is to oversee and make sure all investigations have a valid reason, are handled professionally and that documents have been well maintained and placed in the correct spot. It is also to make sure to have updated documents and to removed old documents from draws so that it is not overflowing.
- Handling Complaints properly: As Director, it is very important to ensure that all complaints are handled. As Director it is needed to make sure to listen to any complaints and to resolve them in the correct manner and very professionally, without any bias.
- Listening to suggestions and offering support: As a Director, listening to any suggestions from ISD for our department as some may improve ISD internally. If given a suggestion that you do not agree with, it would be best to explain to the person why you are rejecting it in a professional manner. As a Director offering support to ISD, it is best to do so as it will help tighten bonds within the department and will bring more positivity within.

Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Dimitri Yung, affectionately known as 'Pixie' by his co-workers, started working in the Internal Security Department at SCP Site 65 soon after he graduated from University with a degree in Criminal Justice. His naturally caring and inquisitive nature led him to study psychology, especially how it relates to criminal actions and what motivates people. During his studies, he also did internships with different law enforcement agencies, where he sharpened skills in conflict resolution and psychological evaluation. These experiences helped prepare him for the specific challenges that come with working in SCP containment. Dimitri is known for staying calm and professional, even when things get stressful. He has a strong sense of empathy, which helps him calm down tense situations and connect with people from all sorts of backgrounds. His colleagues say he's kind, approachable, and has a great sense of humour that lifts everyone's spirits—even when dealing with some of the strange or intimidating aspects of work. He believes that treating everyone with empathy is key to creating a safe and responsible environment at the site. Many people respect him for knowing how to be both professional and genuinely caring about his co-workers. His knack for identifying the positive in the most challenging situations has become a beacon of resilience among his peers, fostering an environment of solidarity and support.

Dimitri is characterized by his meticulous nature and an unwavering commitment to the Foundation's mission. He carries the burden of his past experiences, often reflecting on the fine line between right and wrong. While he is respected for his integrity and dedication, he can also be seen as rigid and unyielding, believing that there should be no room for compromise when it comes to ethical conduct. His experiences have made him wary of blind trust, and he approaches every situation with a critical eye. When Dimitri gets overrun by work and meetings, he has the support and trust of his fellow commissioner Mercer G. While Dimitri is very soft spoken, Mercer is loud spoken and more confident in his argumentative actions, which makes them both a great duo and a force that none can tear apart.

I + support this application due to the factor he has always online and has helped out a lot of biasd members even when I have fallen short in my own duties also he makes it a priority to help everyone else even when he really shouldn't do but that's a quality we are working on together I also will come on and help him out as much like I can Dimitri would make a great department director as some of you may be aware I've been joking about it for about a month now so I plus support this and I believe it would make the most amount of sense for demetri to become a department director of this internal Security Department

Has been great in his current role, just not 100% sure where he'd be going with the Director position - what specifically would you want to do with the Director position that you can't/aren't doing as Commissioner? i.e. what are your general plans?
General plans are to rework the policies of the internal Security Department , which I have been helping Mercer with. As the ones we currently have are quite outdated and really need to be done. I would also want to make sure that even commissioners are not overstepping by auditing the same departments multiple times within a short amount of time, some audits have not even been authorised, so that is something I would like to become stricter on. I am hoping to change the ISD training as while we do have a good training VHS tape, it is 30 slides long, which I feel like it can bore people too much. I believe a more interactive training would be best, as well as once someone becomes ISD, we can slowly train them and teach them how to do tribunals, which is important and key RP for ISD. I know it puts some people off as at times it is just 'here are the documents you need' and nothing more. I wish to make ISD more of a tighter team as currently it is not the best and I do want ISD to run smoothly, if I were to become a Director of ISD, I believe I could do this.
