Khori Cross was born and raised within a Church of Nálká in Prague, being born with the ability of carnomancy and taught how to utilise it since birth. She's a devout follower of Grand Karcist Ion's teachings along with his Klavigar, her sect believing her to blessed by Lovetaar (Also known as SCP-2191-3) herself. While growing up within the Church and surrounding village, Khori would gain an affinity for helping others at the dismay of her sect due to her interacting with outsiders. She began to persue the path of becoming a Doctor, earning multiple degrees and specialising in the field of Pathology, allowing her to help the townsfolk and fellow members of her sect more effectively. Because of this she would gain some notoriety within the surrounding region, ultimately being noticed by the SCP Foundation and surveiled by them for a year before being approached and offered a position within The Foundation due to her peaceful nature and the possibility of Foundation using her to learn more about the Sarkic Faith. Even though she understands The Foundation superstition regarding members of her faith, she still believes in Ion's teachings, under the agreement that she will not use carnomancy on other site personnel unless said otherwise. While Khori sticks out from most humans within Site-65, she's easy going but harsh when needed and loves out to help out wherever she can even if people treat her differently.
Personnel Report - 30/09 - Documented by R.A.I.S.A Agent Fowler:
During her first month or so within Site-65, DEA and 'The Zealot' constantly monitored and questioned her during her time as a CL2 and CL3 which clearly affected her mentally. However, she pushed through and continued to help out within the medical department. During this era of her employment, she remained faithful and stuck to the beliefs of her sects however she displayed less technophobic properties and grew used to the technology within medbay, still staying vigilant of other technology such as the U.N.G.O.C Orange Suit. Around a week later, operatives from the Mobile Task Force Unit Alpha-1 and Epsilon-11 reported a large fleshy growth within HCZ Cross-Testing along with people writhing in agony and an mysterious book, which upon interacting with would cause the reader to experience a great deal of pain. A medical personnel was requested to HCZ and Khori quickly responded, claiming this to be the work of a Proto-Sarkic sect. With A-1 and E-11's permission, she interacted with the book and suffered no injuries upon reading. She quickly explained to everyone that the seal on the front cover of the book was that of a sect known as 'The Solomanari', she had only heard rumours but clearly knew their iconography. The Solomanari are a hostile proto-sect who practice human sacrifice to appease SCP-2191-3. Due to the nature of the book erupting into flames upon trying to comprehend it by non-Adytite fluent readers, E-11 were ordered to burn the growths and the book to the dissapointment of Miss Cross. A short while after this incident, she was introduced to Assistant Julia Yang who acted as someone she could report to in regards to anything related to her faith, with this Khori reported unauthorised and unethical tests involving a sacrifices using a sarkic book performed by a thaumatologist. An investigation was launched and the thaumatologist is still considered MIA. The location of the book is unknown.
After these events, Nalkan activity within site seemed to die down which allowed her to progress the ranks of medical utimately being promoted to the rank of Consultant within the medical department. During this time she grew closer with Julia Yang and started a friendship with DoM Zoey Myers. Unfortunately due to the death of 'The Zealot' and DEA Leadership going missing, Khori was transfered to Site-06-3 as a precaution while they investigated these circumstances in which she helped research understand the humanoid entities contained within the site.
Upon returning to Site-65 a month later, Khori had returned with some conflicting thoughts regarding her belief system. She no longer had acute technophobia and even began questioning if being a Proto-Sarkic was the correct path. To help with these thoughts she began writing in a diary to distract herself as she questioned her faith, allegiance and loyalty. Ultimately, Khori still believes that Proto-Sarkicsm is the correct path but now understands that Sarkicism is a spectrum. During this peroid of time she also applied to become the next Director of Medicine and between all the canditates that applied, she was selected to be the second DoM. Many still question Khori and her faith while others have grown to accept her and view her as an equal. There has been much loss for Khori within Site-65 such as the dissapearance of Julia Yang and the defection Dpt. Director Claire 'Bonez' Amelia but she remains strong and loyal to the Foundation, relying on her fellow DoM when things get rough. R.A.I.S.A will keep monitoring Miss Cross and -1 will be notified of any potential cause for concerns.
