Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
After spending a few months in A1, doing stuff i have enjoyed and still do enjoy doing in A1 i feel like off late that i am a bit too focused on combat and guarding people. I still like playing as A1, but I’m ready to try something different, and a consultant seems like a good change. Over the past week, I’ve been playing more in the medical role, and even before that, I’d hop on it from time to time. I’ve found it super enjoyable, especially the RP side of things. It’s nice not having to constantly worry about combat, kidnappings, and other worries that come with being an a1 operative. So i would like to apply consultant to help new people and old people get the joy of what i am getting with medical by helping them learn the medical aspect of things and by training them so they also have as much fun on the server that i have by doing medical rp and giving them rp. Now i could do this as a sr. doctor also but i feel like as a consultant i can help people even more to give them rp then what i can as a sr. doctor.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I have been on the server a few months now and over those few months, i have learned a lot of new stuff that i have not learned on other rp servers i have played on in the past. During these months, i have learned a lot in how medical functions in terms of treating illnesses to doing a surgery or a psych eval. This is all vital to becoming a consultant and just of many things i have learned. I also have real-life medical training even though i hate bringing it up, since at the end of the day its a rp server it's still something that would help me rp better as a consultant. Now this medical training is more combat-focused, based in terms of that i know how to treat injuries that are most common on-site like shrapnel, burns, gunshots, and cuts.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
-Removing Shrapnel's. / Surgery
1. First, find out where the wound is.
2. Get all the equipment you need to remove it
3. Clean the wound using alcohol wipes and water.
4. Apply local anaesthetic to slow the bleeding + make it less painful.
5. Start using sterilization tools on the shrapnel, depending on its size and location, to slowly remove it while having the necessary equipment on standby.
6. Throw all the scraps into a basket.
7. Use a medical light to look inside the wound for more shrapnel.
8. Remove any metal bits or pieces that may still be inside using a forceps
9. After removing all the shrapnel's clean the wound so it dont get an infection.
10. Stitch the wound back up using a needle and suture thread
11. Bandage the wound
12. Tell them to keep the area affected calm so to not open the wound again.
Now i will admit this is not perfect, and it really depends on where the wound is, what i have used is if the wound was on the legs or arms. If it were on the stomach, it would be different.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:

-How i see the consultant duties in rp is 2 main parts that i will split up and many smaller duties that most could in theory fall in under the 2 main parts.

Management:

The First part of a consultant's many jobs is to manage the medical personnel on site. This can be everything from helping place new policies in place or giving feedback to doctors in training or who have finished training in what they are doing. This would be done by shadowing their work and giving them a hand in where it is needed. You would also be responsible for training the new personnel and old personnel and even yourself in what you are doing from psych evals to surgeries and even how to treat a common cold. You would also be managing punishment for personnel who do medical malpractice by A Deperary removing there medical license if it's bad enough or B retraining them if its smaller malpractice. So to sum up the management duties it would be.
1: Training new personnel.
2: Hand out punishments.
3: Make New policies.
4: Consulting personnel

Department Relation:
Now for the second part, that i really didn't know what to call but department relations would be the closest to what i mean about is is the second duty, main priority for medical consultants. What i mean by this if a doctor or someone does something stupid, it would be the consultant's main duty to deal with it. Now this kinda falls back to the first point again, management, but it's just different enough that at the same time it dont. The reason for this is depending on what they do it may harm the medical team's relationship with other units on site, meaning the consultant needs to step in and help those units so it doesn't harm relations in the long run. Now another part is consulting departments with medical needs, what i mean by that is that consultants need to actually go out and talk with the different units on site and ask them what they think about medical and what they need from medical. Some units like Nu7 have their own medical team because of the work they do but there are few. So a consultant could, as an example, talk to them about what those medics need in terms of supplies and training.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Karl Dale Vik was born in 1997 in a small coastal town in Norway. From a young age, he and his brother both shared a desire to serve their nation and its people, though they disagreed on how to achieve that goal. Karl would choose the medical path while attending high school, training to become a paramedic. However, he struggled to find an apprenticeship in the civilian sector. To try and overcome this, he decided to try and combine his mandatory conscription with his medical apprenticeship, something that got accepted, and he joined the Norwegian Army as a combat medic/paramedic, originally intending to serve only two years. After completing his apprenticeship, he was offered a temporary position as a combat medic with the Telemark Battalion, which needed trained medical professionals for an upcoming deployment. He accepted the offer and after the deployment he got offered a permanent position that he accepted. He spent the next few years deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq, where he treated wounded soldiers and civilians alike. His bravery and medical skill earned him the St. Olav's Medal with Oak Branch and the Armed Forces Medal for Heroic Deeds. Karls actions caught the attention of the Foundation. Unbeknownst to him, his brother was already working for them. The Foundation, known for recruiting from within families to preserve there secrecy, saw Karl as an ideal candidate. One day, just before heading to work, Karl was approached by a Foundation agent. They explained that the organization had recruited plenty of doctors with academic degrees, but very few with real combat medical experience. They needed someone like Karl, someone who could help the existing medical personnel and train them in handling field injuries often encountered on sites around the world. He accepted the offer. After completing his military contract that comes with a resignation and undergoing rapid orientation into the world of anomalies, he was assigned to Site-65. There, he quickly noticed a lack of practical medical training among the doctors, especially when it came to field surgeries and treating common combat injuries such as gunshot wounds and splinter trauma. Seeing the gap, he would make it his mission to train Site-65 personnel in proper combat care and emergency surgical procedures, ensuring that future lives could be saved through hands-on readiness and field-proven methods.

PS: English is not my native tongue so there will be a few spelling mistakes that i have tried to fix to the best of my abilities so any feedback on what i could improve would be greatly appreciated.
