Discord name: deniz3n
For how long have you played on CG SCP: Since August, 2023.
Age: 23
In what country are you located?: UK
Time zone: BST/GMT
Character name(s): See forums signature.
Civilian name: See forums signature.
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes.
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: See forums signature.

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I have one warning from March 2025, which I received as some actions I took on a non-combative role were deemed too combative and thus FailRP.

Why are you applying for Site Advisor?:
I am interested in helping out the current Site Administration team, which is in a bit of an odd state at the moment. It would open up some new RP opportunities which could be interesting, and I have a few ideas that I'd be interested in trying to run as SA to try and improve/expand E&TS RP, along with RP and ideas for other departments.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
I have previous experience in relevant roles, such as Site Advisor, IA Ambassador, and E-11 CPT. From these and other sources, I have experience and knowledge in various useful areas for the role of Site Advisor, such as documentation, conflict resolution, RP, and a general knowledge of how all of the different departments/regiments function. I also have a variety of ideas to bring to the table that could potentially improve things (or, at the very least, are worth trialling to see how things go).

I am currently moving house and so haven't been as active in the past week, but once I am moved, I will have a fair bit of time on my hands for the role.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
The general responsibilities of Site Administration include:

  • Ensuring the RP health of departments and regiments under their jurisdiction
    • Including being in regular contact with their leadership, interacting with different members of different departments, listening to and acting on relevant feedback and notable issues, and carrying out audits and reviews to either ensure they do not fail, or to find out why they already are failing in different aspects
  • Appointing directors and commanders under SA jurisdiction
    • Mostly up to SD discretion, but SA members provide input and support them in this process. Other SA should also be keeping a good enough eye on the departments/regiments under their jurisdiction that they can tell if there are issues or positives regarding potential candidates.
  • Managing on-site emergencies, e.g. Code 5s
    • Mainly involving ensuring good communication between departments, and making higher-level decisions such as enabling lockdowns, closing blastdoors, authorising/deauthorising AA, and giving orders to different departments to carry out
  • Supervising GOI relations
    • Somewhat of a shared responsibility with DEA and SC. DEA should be the main ones carrying out actions in relation to this, but SA does need to supervise this, sometimes give general orders regarding them, and sometimes sign off on various things such as new treaties and proposals.
  • Managing site-wide policies, and carrying out SA's executive part in them
    • Managing policies is a shared duty with SC, and the specifics differ depending on the policy and enforcement, but SA is responsible for this, both in terms of creating new policies, updating existing ones, and generally ensuring that site policies make sense for the current RP environment, and that they aren't causing any issues for anyone in RP
    • This also includes things like signing off on things that require SA approval
  • Engaging in various justice processes
    • From job bans to tribunals to specific RP-based punishments. Mainly under the jurisdiction of ISD and EC, but some aspects such as employment-related RP and job bans are often SA's responsibility.
  • Engaging in various RP relevant to the role
    • E.g. getting involved in RSD projects as supervision/funding/etc., supporting different departments in larger-scale projects, and just doing individual roleplay with different site personnel. Also includes making your own projects and the like to engage different people in.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Lore: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TAJBAio9uq4do6mpCY8Vthh0pABoGrC8GgGu2KwEzG0/edit?usp=sharing

The specific storylines I'd be involved in aren't pre-set, and I'm happy to get involved in any ongoing RP to begin with. I do, however, have plans that I'd like to at least trial within Site Administration, including:
  • A programme for expanding E&TS via in-character permissions. Would depend on what SM+ allow, but could be anything from a Senior Engineer programme (CL3 trusted Tech Experts) to a full roster of in-character permissions such as a Director, Seniors, etc.
    • Something I've wanted to try out for a while, and I would ideally want to see promoting more roleplay and better standards within the E&TS roles.
  • Similar uses of keycard printing and the like for in-character positions and the like for other departments (depending on what their department leadership roles say/suggest).
  • Various minor RP projects for E&TS staff to take part in, to promote better roleplay amongst those roles. Things like investigating and writing reports on the state of containment chambers and other areas and ways they could be improved. Would involve working with E-11, RSD and others, doing roleplay and talking to people, and then writing up reports and presenting them to Site Administration.
  • A project involving GSD and all MTFs to find out where security is lacking in relation to CI raids, and where it is actually doing well, on a larger scale - is there anything particularly bad that different departments could do to change, or that SA could encourage better cooperation/communication/etc. around to improve. Same with SCP breaches.
  • A project to investigate how emergency management can improve. How do we get non-combatives to actually stay out of the way without making them all bored, how can we make sure breaches are properly and consistently handled and communicated, etc.
  • Talking to different departments (both leadership and lower levels) to find out if there's anywhere Site Administration can help or provide projects or anything like that.
    • Obviously this is a general part of Site Administration's job anyway, but I want to specifically develop new projects, policies, etc. based on what people actually want, rather than purely starting projects based on what only Site Administration wants.
