What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I have a vast knowledge of the legal codex due to my time spent on internal affairs, some people might not have any knowledge of the legal codex when writing these applications, its insane! I am going to toot my own horn here but I am going to say that I am quite good at documentation and auditing (As I did that within E-11) Speaking skills are alright, but need improvement overall there are times when I can speak just that it is better for me not to speak. From my first application though for Ethics committee assistant I have improved tenfold, and I hope this is recognised when discussing this application.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Ethics Committee assistants are typically used for auditing certain ethics based meetings depending on what the subject is, this can vary depending on who is available and what the primary end goal of these are. Sometimes these can be minor meetings, and can sometimes be something major that effects the ethics committee.
Overseeing the departments and relaying what decisions they do that are deemed "Unethical" are. This is to ensure that ethics is upheld in what designated department they are assigned to so that a gold standard can be held for all departments
Responding to most questions about ethics or the legal codex (this goes more for IA depending on what they are questioning about the legal codex but can still apply)
Supporting ethics members with their work so they do not get overwhelmed within the work they are tasked with doing.
Assistance in tribunals, like previously stated auditing is a job they are tasked with and tribunals can be included within this cateogory.
Watching over persons of interest to the ethics committee and relaying actions they have done and or are planning on doing to ethics committee members or enforcers of the legal codex.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Early Years
Joseph Sussman was born in Canada, British Columbia, Victoria on November 20th, 1988. He was an ordinary kid experiencing nothing abnormal when he was growing up. During his time within secondary education he became well versed with law and wished to become an officer, or if not an officer an attorney of some kind. When he graduated secondary education he specifically went towards his passion of being a police, during his time in the academy however he gained a fond passion of scuba diving, truly nothing wrong will happen to him, he would even have kid in the time.
Introduction Into the Dark
During his time as a police officer he would have some close calls with death, but nothing that was going to effect him in the long run, he was an expert shooter within his force so this wasn't anything that bothered him. To touch off topic he would even bring his kid on scuba trips when he got his kid certified in scuba diving at the age of 10. This choice he made would make his choices in the future get him in contact with the foundation, but so on his career would continue on like nothing happened. This would proceed to change on 18/07/████ until he went scuba diving near a reef that was off the Vancouver Island that was being overseen by the foundation. The anomaly that the canadian officer encountered was.
Welcome to the Foundation
Joseph Sussman would be left alone for a bit of time, approximately 1 year from the incident. Joseph would later get into an incident with an armed suspect, they proceeded to hit joseph sussman 3 times. He was put into critical condition, and was stablised, when he was guaranteed to live he was met by some men that he suspected were higher ups that here to wish him luck on his recovery, or worse he was going to be discharged for his injuries. This was no normal visit however, the men gave him a large bundle of documentation, a detailed report of 18/07/████. Joseph was confused as he was unaware of the anomalous world, this would change when the operatives of Mobile Task Force Iota-10 and a recruiter for the foundation. They offered him a posistion with general security department for Site-65. He accepted his posistion and would join the foundation, his family was later told that he had been given a new job within the police department and would proceed to disappear alot more within his home life. This moment would change his life from this point on.
Time in the Foundation
Joseph Sussman would quickly rise the ranks within general security. He would even proceed to go tryout for Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 and pass with 0 strikes. He would spend a great amount of time within E-11 Obtaining the rank of Command Sergeant. He was the lead of Archangels and would later be a key factor in the dissolution of Archangels due to their abilities being unsatisfactory in eyes, and the demand of site administration for the combining or complete removal of unecessary squadrons.
Joseph would later resign from mobile task force E-11 as an Command Sergeant would proceed to join Mobile Task Force Nu-7, this would lead to him shortly resigning afterwards and joining the internal affairs department where he currently stays today.

Joseph Sussman was scuba diving near SCP-2074, he was unaware of the anomalies precence at all. However, his son was totally confused. Something was disrupting his radio that his father had given him, the kid thought he broke it and ignored it until his father came back up when he was done. His father was going solo runs to see if his son could handle it without him being present as he had been multiple times before, he dived first to show his son to be brave in some manner. his father noticed the chamber and avoided it due to the vent being open and thought nothing of it. While during this time his son was just ignoring the static followed by what we can only assume was muddled voices, we are still unaware of what happened on the boat but can make some guesses.
Only an hour later after the initial actions take within the incident, joseph would send his son down with the radio set to their frequency. When his son enter the same proximity as his father, when he hit this point his father proceeded to gain a similar radio disruption, he noticied and took action immeditately. He was checking if his son was still connected to the radio frequency, he heard a voice similar to his son but couldn't make it out due to the disruption. He proceeded to scream for his son to come back up as he was unaware of what was down there and what the risks of his son going where he was were. He heard a voice, and then silence. He felt relieved but still stressed. While in deep thought the radio disruption dispersed, he proceeded to ask his son how he was doing, he got a response "Fine whats wrong?" He proceeded to tell his son that a dangerous radio disruption had occured and ended that little trip right there and then. When his son got aboard the boat he went back to the docks.

He couldn't attend his promotion however due to some complications that were severe. He contributed a new squadron to E-11 known as "Valkyries" and would help build it up when it was first introduced to E-11 ultimately helping its survival in the long run. His actions were a step in the right direction compared to the older E-11 standards, these standards needed renewed by Site Administration orders, this was something he acted on swiftly as he could. He would later resign from his posistion only a couple of months later. This resignation would lead him to join Internal Affairs for a short period of time, this would then change to him joining Mobile Task Force Nu-7 during his time within Nu-7 he was give amnestics to forget everything within his time as an E-11 Commissioned officer, he was reported to go into some sort of dazed confusion and continued his duties in Nu-7 for a short period of time until he resigned and rejoined Internal Affairs.
