Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for Site Advisor because I want to step into a more Administrative role within the server, a lot of my roleplay has been very infused with combat, except for my time in GOC where I played as Ambassador instead of my combative LT position and I was involved in many negotiations (one being the current Liaison office). Additionally it also feels like the right time where I can step up into a Senior CL4 position where I can get involved in RP with other departments and FCOM. Now circling back to why I am applying its because I want to let go of my combative roles, my entire time on this server I've always put RP above combat but there are many limitations that have stopped me from doing that, but now that I have played positions solely RP focused I realise that I don't enjoy the combat as much as being passive and roleplaying with no expectation that I have to fight.
I don't know if this is a good enough reason but I still want to give up on fighting and change to sole roleplay.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?
I involve myself in roleplay
When I'm in site I enjoy walking around talking to people and simply just experiencing it, I like talking to people and creating roleplay with other people. I've learned so much by just talking to people and creating new scenarios such as me getting injured or assisting ISD then helping them make a report. Also a lot of my roleplay has been in GOC where it's not so setup, I've had to create many scenarios and that has taught me to think on the spot and make fun situations for people. Examples of my GOC RP - Current Liaison Office, multiple RSD tests involving different departments, negotiating multiple peace treaties and joining their PNEUMA team which involved me in quite a few situations external security based.
I enjoy involvement
Part of being Site Admin isn't just holding a Senior CL4 role and walking around site and I understand that. Being Site Admin gives you responsibilities of creating situations to involve lower clearance staff, such as if you want a psych evaluation, don't instantly go to a Consultant; Let a Senior Doctor do it. You want to speak to RSD about a project; don't just speak to RSD CL4, bring a few Senior Researchers (depending on the test). But the moral is - let everyone else RP. Don't restrict somebody else just based on the fact they have a lower clearance. (it depends on what it is).
I like difficulty
Being site admin is not easy, it shows because they have a responsibility to all players no matter what faction they play, they all get involved somehow and its difficult to appease everyone, but I enjoy difficulty. I like roleplaying because it's not easy, you have to enjoy your character, you have to know your character and you have to know how that person would act here or there. But that's why it's so fun, going to Site Advisor would be much more difficult but I can get used to it and I will enjoy it.
I haven't held a Sr. CL4 Position
That sounds like a bad thing, and it honestly might be, but also I like the fact that I'm trying something new even if there is an extremely high chance I will be denied I'm still trying, because I like to try new things. At some point you have to realise that even if you are extremely new or inexperienced to something, that shouldn't restrict you from trying the whole ordeal, that's why I'm applying. I am new and I want to get better.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?
Overseeing the site | Overseeing the site means to watch departments, watch staff and include yourself or remove yourself in certain RP situations. You are Site Administration, you are there to make sure everything is going well but also having the strength to remove yourself and let the department handle it, after all you have to let them RP themselves and later get involved when it makes the RP better. Additionally this involves DEA and overseeing relations with GOIs. |
Management of site wide policies | Part of your job is to work with the whole of SA and FCOM (sometimes) to change policies or add them, this is a key part of the role because this changes the entire sites roleplay. |
Reviews of departments | You have to oversee departments to keep the standard high, you are there as a senior member to watch, advise and assist departments - obviously don't choke a department if you are their current liaison but still assist them wherever it's needed. It's better to say something then keep quiet and never let your idea get heard. This also includes authorizing/overseeing audits and investigations. |
Management of on-site emergencies | During different codes your job is to make sure everything is coordinated, part of this is staying in comms advising where non combatants should go, giving locations of breaches. Now the most significant, at some point you may need to call ERT, it is your responsibility to decide whether it is needed or if you can rely on containment teams. Otherwise if it also comes that SCPs are breaching into LCZ you may need to call a Code Black, this is your job to decide if its necessary or if you can keep RP going. This is a very important decision you need to get right because Code Blacks can create RP but also destroy it. Additionally Advanced Armoury is a choice you have to make. |
Coordinating with Departments/MTFs | You will be the first point of contact if a Dpt or MTF would like to reserve a part of site for a training or "event" that they are doing, you will have to make a decision keeping in mind that RP will be changed due to these decisions and your job is to make the decision. |
Testing Authorization | You are the deciding factor when it comes to tests that need authorizing but it isn't needing ethical review and you will be there to oversee it or deny it for a reason. |
Appointment of Directors and Commanders and SA | The entirety of SA is their to come to a consensus on whether somebody should be accepted or denied to a Director or Commander position within their respective regimen. Or a new member of Site Administration. |
Tribunals of Staff | SA can be authorised to lead tribunals for lower members of staff if the Committee authorizes it. |

Fujima Katayoka is a Senior Researcher within Site-65.
Early Life:
He was born in Tokyo, Japan with a twin brother on April 5th of 1993 where he had an easy life. His parents were rich and gave him whatever he wanted. His life was perfect, he even found a wife really early just after high school. He moved to England where he studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London then going to Exeter University. He was part of a leading institution studying microbiology and planetary science. Life was perfect. But his wife died.. Miyu died. This was the worst case scenario. He became an alcoholic and left his job, he didn't want to do anything that related to his previous life as it reminded him of her. The beauty and love was gone.

He moved to Canada to travel, he became a camper with a bunch of money, he paid people to do whatever and nobody liked him. Drinking booze in his RV he travelled around Canada just living. Nothing more. His life was gone after the incident and the only person he talked to was his twin brother and parents. Absolutely no friends and no motivation to get any. But while he was travelling he stayed in a lodge where he sat in the rocking chair for hours.

That was it, that person changed his life. For days they were both getting drunk together enjoying life and of course he talks about his previous life, hesitantly, but he still does. Explains his situation and these words change him.

A few years pass by, honestly I am feeling well, I've finished my grieving after many years haha! I can't believe I actually am in this position. You know whoever that person was, I don't remember his name maybe Low? Lowet? Lowa? He helped me so much to get over my grievances. Sadly I haven't spoken to my brother in years but it's alright. I assure you I'm feeling well.
What, how I handle my mental health here? Oh well I just make sure to stick to my work and balance it with leisure such as badminton. I used to play back at home and I'm still as good as before! There is this person I play with, Rhys. Rhys Calder, you may know him he is also a researcher here. He is way better then me though. I've yet to beat him.
And lastly, you asked. What I plan to do? I want to save myself again, I never want to get in that position before. Yea that's why I'm applying. Hopefully they actually notice it. I'm not just a speck of sand on the beach am I?

My character will be heavily involved within RSD, I've always enjoyed the creativity of research and just simply talking to people, it gives you so much ideas and I want to assist RSD and the MD with their RP and make it as enjoyable as possible. Frequently creating projects for them to maybe joint work on and such. I still have a lot to think about but that is the general basis. Anyway I'm out!
