1: Why are you applying for Intelligence Ambassador?

The current state of the Intelligence Department on the UK site is below standard in all aspects. Many of the documents are out of date, simply not made, or have been lost in time. Because of this, the whole department has been declared dead by many and it has received a bad grade from site administration and site command over and over again. I want to change that and to do so, I will first have to start my journey as an Ambassador within the Department of Intelligence. I am already reworking the introduction training for new agents and will make a new quiz that will be linked to the roster (only able to be viewed by Ambassadors+). Besides this, I will start training the new generation of agents and operatives to make sure the department rises from its ashes. There is much to do and I am willing to take on the task. The journey will be long, but I feel like the site could benefit from the revival of the department and I wish to be at the base of its revival.
A couple of the things I plan on doing in the short term are:

- Revamp of the SCIPNET;
- Revamp of the current UK roster (perms from Ventz needed)
- Rework of the current documentation;
- Work closer with Nu-7/B-1 to obtain information on surface;
- Take back the responsibility to do interrogations of GOI/POI/HVTs as first department in line;
- Take back the responsibility to communicate with other GOI/POI/HVTs in open comms;
- Instruct newer agents on the correct usage of vehicles and help obtain their corresponding licenses;
- Many, many more.

2: What makes you suitable for Intelligence Ambassador?:

I have been an Ambassador for Internal Affairs for the majority of my career within the foundation. I have done countless pieces of training for Internal Affairs and always tried to help out with making new documents, and formats or assisting new agents in their journey within the department. I wish to do the same for starting members within Intelligence, but also take on the role of Deputy Department Director and work more on the behind-the-scenes stuff of the department. I've done a lot of documentation, as a member of Alpha-1, Site Administration, and during my time within the Internal Affairs department. I really am looking to revive the department and this is the first step in doing so. There are so many opportunities for the department and I wish to make them true.

3: How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:

I've written countless documents on-site myself. I even made templates for researchers and starting agents within Internal Affairs. I even did more documentation behind the scenes, but this was using google documents, google forms and google studio. I will, however, keep overwatch of the documentation that will be made for Intelligence by newer agents and inform them on how they have been doing with their documentation. Intelligence is still a department that requires members to log almost everything they do, so we can actually gather intel on other GOIs, POIs, and HVTs. This is not mandatory, but I will try to inform junior members of its importance and will award those who make good documents.

A good document is made with the following points;
- The right format (Foundation Report);
- A good-looking front page (logos optional);
- An index, showing the written sections of the report;
- Clarification of wanted information;
- Method of obtaining the information;
- Findings after applying the method to obtain information;
- Conclusion of the obtained information;
- Possible addendums to the documentation;
- Closure (TL;DR section);

4: What are the responsibilities of the Intelligence Ambassador in RP?:

An Ambassador within the Department of Intelligence is to serve as a senior agent for the new agents. They are trusted members within the department and have been given tools to ban members within the department. They are to overlook daily operations within the site and escort agents onto the surface. They need to make sure that their members know how to behave, they also have to make sure the internal rules and regulations are followed as well as helping out members to get familiar with how everything works within the department. They are the first level of the internal Chain of Command that is trusted with allowing agents to do deep cover operations and should be familiar with how they are set up, how to conduct them and how to get information back to the site with minimal losses. They are also there to make sure documentation is filled out and are able to grade those documents, giving them an important aspect of daily leadership within the Intelligence department.

5: Please give some lore about your Intelligence Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:

- Gregory McCain, freshly parted from his studies in Global Politcs from ███████ University, Belgium, started looking for a job on the local job website. After spending some time and landing his first job on the office of Internal Affairs of the Belgium minister of said department and showing a good understanding of politics, leadership and the capacity to work nights on end, Gregory was given the nickname "Archangel", a callsign to reflect his ability to guide those serving under him within his team. After working in the office for close to 2 years, McCain was approached by two men in black suits. They explained to Gregory that his work has not gone unnoticed and requested if he would like another job offer. Gregory kindly refused, showed the two men out and thanked them for the offer. With no contecxt in any way, Gregory woke up in a dim lit room, feeling dizzy. In front of him where the same two men, they explained that he was now taken to an SCP facility overseas, since the local facility personnel might know his personal information. He was explained that he was to be assigned to the Department of Internal Affairs, and after hearing the introduction of the two men, Gregory fell in love with the idea and agreed upon the new job opportunity.

After working within the Department of Internal Affairs for some years, Gregory was called to the office of the department. With a small heart, Gregory opened up the door and entered. He was promply told to sit on the chair in front of the desk, gulping while sitting down, Gregory looked at a man he admired from the first day since he agreed upon taking the role within the foundation. The Director started talking about the last evaluations of all personnel within the Internal Affairs Department. Gregory started to sweat, even tho knowing his evulation to be good. The report was fully read in front of him. After the end of the report, the director layed the papers down and finished with a simple question:

' We only have one final question, your work here is untill now has been an example to others... How does Ambassador sound?"

After 2 years within the Department of Internal Affairs, Gregory learned the ins and outs of the whole site he was stantioned at. He more and more became interested in overviewing and helping people outside of the department. And that is just what he did. He started helping those in other departents, enlightening them on protocols, procedures and events that have lead to the current state of the facility. After these two years, he become known around the facility as someone who is open for questions and willing to help in different matter. His experience as a leadership figure within the Department of Internal Affairs has helped him to devlop towards someone who is capable of leading mutliple people, advising others and taking care and leadership roles on any situation assigned to him.

Site Adminsitration and the ███████ started noticing this, after recieving reports about his helping hand in facility wide problems, assigning MTFs to specific locations during visitations and reflecting papers handed to them from other facility site administation personnel visiting Site-65.

McCain, now close to 35 years old, was called to the office of the standing Site Director and was questioned on the matter at hand. Gregory explained;

- McCain: "Sir, with all respect, I only was trying to help others. I did not want to interfere with their day to day operations.'-

- Site Director: "McCain... I never told you that I didn't like the way you operate, I just wanted to know why you do it? It's above your paygrade, you are only assigned to work with Internal Affairs, not overlook the whole site."

- McCain: "Euhm.. I just like helping people I assume? I know that other ambassadors within the Department of Internal Affairs are doing a real good job, so when they are overlooking the working of the department, I just focus myself more on the whole facility instead of just IA."

- Site Director: "Ah... I see, you know, I could use someone like you. You are familiar with the Code of Conduct, know the Code of Ethics, enforce the Legal Codex and are already advising and reporting problems that plague the site."

- McCain: "Yes, I'd love to advise you on the matter, I'll do it during my downtime as Ambassador, I'll send you mails with my findings and I w..." [[INTERRUPTED BY THE DIRECTOR LIFTING HIS FINGER]]

- Site Director: "McCain.. Listen, I don't want you to report to me on your free time, I wish you'd help me out with information and reports the whole day, not just after you are done with your ambassador duties. I also would like you here, by my side, not just hear from you over e-mail. I'm assigning you to full time Site Advisor."

After 2 years as a member of Site Administration, Gregory learned that the endless amount of paper was making him demotivated. To combat this, Site Advisor McCain could be found within the killhouse during his spare time. After contacting the members of Alpha-1, McCain was found to be a decent shot and transfered over to the regiment. During his stay within the regiment, Gregory used his experience and documentation skills to further update and revamp some of the documentation within the regiment, implementing a set of rules, guidelines and other things. Because of his outstanding work, Gregory was promoted to non-commissioned officer within the regiment. After he felt that his job there was done, he filled up an application to the O5 council, asking them if they need any assistance. He had high hopes for this position, hoping he could now start making changes for the better towards the whole foundation instead of a few departments or regiments at a time.

During the wait for his other application to be read by the O5 council, McCain took a closer look at the Department of Intelligence and realized that there was a lot of unused potential. He began searching for leadership figures within the department and could not find any. After looking in the dusty cabinets of the department, he could find an old training script for new agents, but this could nowhere be found on the SCIPNET servers. McCain took it upon himself to rewrite the artifact that ones were the introduction towards new agents, and send it up to the council to be checked since no sign of life could be found from a departmental director. After sending the training, McCain opened up his current application on SCIPNET and added an addendum, a filled application for the Department of Intelligence Ambassador, hoping that he could further his journey by helping out a department close to extinction.

Has great plans, knowledge and a nicely written application + lore. He actually wants to revive the department, which is an extremely positive thing, considering Intel is dead currently. His skills in leading and making documents are something Intelligence desperately needs.

Yeah, I have not been playing Intelligence for that long, I've been doing months of work within site affairs as Internal Affairs tho, so I know my way around stuff.

Also, just as information for those who won't find me on the server this weekend, I'm on holiday with my family, I'll be back around sunday evening.
