Why are you applying for Security Captain?:
I wish to become a member of Gensec leadership, and I believe I would be a good fit as captain, given my extensive experience with GSD, including several years of playing the department and over a year of that time being a captain. I also wish to help gensec improve, help its members and in general make the site a better place. I also wish to move up the clearance ladder in the site, and if I possibly want to become any roles such as SA or COS, becoming a captain could help with obtaining them.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
As stated above, I have extensive experience in GSD, which has helped me improve over time. I have had my share of time as old sergeant and riot sergeant, which were the old officer and SCU from before the rework, officer, sergeant and captain. I also was one of the members of staff which assisted in organising the General Security rework, which included rewriting almost every document. During the time that HH was a subdivision of gensec, I was one of the leading members, right below the commanders, and I have also contributed to other subdivisions, at one point being appointed the title of head of chemical gathering. As for what makes me personally a good captain, I am amiable, responsible and can keep my calm under pressure. I have shown several times that I know how to lead, with force if necessary, and despite this, most people who interacted with me liked me as a captain.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Captains have several responsibilities both in and out of RP. It is important for them to stick to these responsibilities to set a good example for GSD.
Some responsibilities include:
Leading over Gensec and D-block
Training and organizing tryouts for members of GSD
Writing documentation for Gensec leadership
Maintaining positive relations with other departments
Maintaining a secure environment in the facility
Aiding MTFs in C1s, C3s, C4s and C5s when needed
Dealing with C2s in D-block
Organising sweeps when needed
Training high level GSD into becoming Sergeants or Captains
