Why are you applying for Director of External Affairs?
I am applying for Director of External Affairs because I enjoy the duties that come with being in DEA and I feel like as Director I could help pass on the skills which I have learnt helping mould the new faces of the Department. Secondly, I enjoy the mix of responsibilities that come with being DEA, for example being involved with operations on the surface and also being involved in on-site operations.
I also believe that my strong activity is something that every Department needs as this helps with things such as, scouting agents to see who deserves promotion, representing the site in diplomatic situations and also set an example for the lower ranked members of DEA. Lastly, I also want to improve things that may have been overlooked by previous Director's
What makes you suitable for Director of External Affairs?:
I believe that I am a suitable candidate for this position because I believe that my past experiences in other leadership positions (MRP Colonel and LTCOL) help me to understand what it takes to run a department as well as making it enjoyable. Secondly, I feel like I handle situations very well, an example of this was when I received the medal Order of Quiet Resolve for demonstrating great composure while dealing with negotiations of a high ranking member of staff, and I feel this is something I can pass onto other members of DEA. I also believe that I have an innate ability to lead which would be great for team operations. I will also keep regularly updated with all things going on within the department, whether this is with a bi-weekly meeting or even just communicating with other members of the department. To summarise I think that I would be able to make a great difference to the Department.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?:
The Director of External Affairs has a many responsibilities which I will go over. Promotions, the Director is the final decision on all promotions and can promote people from Agent all the way up to Manager. Application reviews, the Director also decides on whether someone should be promoted to Special Agent, this is by reviewing the forum application and also conducting an interview. Relations, the Director is the primary shot caller for all relations with Groups of Interest. I also want to have a better structured Chain of Command, this is to make sure work can be well spread out and makes everything much more efficient. Finally the Director is to overlook the department and make sure it is running smoothly and efficiently.
