Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: -Fail RP for not listening to MTF e-11 as a researcher. A kick because I was stuck in a death loop. Fear RP because I didn't listen to CI whilst a gun was pointed at me (I think). Finally ARDM because I stabbed a few d-classes as a tech expert.
What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
To not repeat myself from the OSA application, I will say that I have experience as an assistant and as a CL4 member of the site. A majority of what I do as an OSA could carry over into the ECA position, albeit with a different motive. I am very much into creating RP scenarios, as I am also a game master. I'm committed to the server, as I hold quite a few long-term roles in the foundation. I try and be as approachable and as kind as I can out of character as well (though I have lashed out at a few people OOC due to reasons I wish not to get into, which I will not try and hide). However, barring that minor flaw, I do try and come across as someone you can rely on. If considered part of the ECA, I will put as much effort into my job as my other jobs.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Similar to the OSAs, the ECAs serve as the primary observers for the Ethical Committee. They assist the committee in ensuring that foundation staff abide by the FLC and that both people (including D-class) and SCPs are treated fairly and not subjected to unethical abuse. In addition to managing the majority of the paperwork required by the Ethics Committee Members, such as transcripts of conversations and assistance in creating new site policies, they collaborate with O-1 on orders, audits, and investigations related to potential information breaches, unethical behaviour, and other legal issues, in coordination with ISD. Depending on the severity of the topic, I believe that they would be able to handle the smaller-scale ethical dilemmas. They can also serve as either a defence or prosecution during tribunals or charge disputes. As well as the entire ethical division, assistants are to make sure that all staff are treated with respect, be they anomalous or not.
