Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
I'm applying for the Director role as I believe I'm the best person for it, plain and simple. I have so much passion for the department that I believe me not attempting to step up for the director position would just be stupid of me. Not only do I have passion for the department but I have passion for the people in it and I only wish the best for their growth and them in general. Not just this but I genuinely fear the department falling into the wrong hands and going down a spiral no one can save it from. I know I'm ready for the position and can't wait to do more for ISD.
What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
I'm more than suitable for the role as I've spent many months in ISD/IA jobs. I have more than a understanding of what it takes and I know I'm beyond ready to step up to the position.
I also have a genuinely love for ISD and it's members and love being able to see ISD doing well I'd love the chance to bring ISD even further and hopefully give ISD a fresh coat of paint, switching up the ISD are fun police ideology as we really aren't.
Me personally I enjoy the roleplay aspects of ISD and find the arresting part quite boring which usually comes as a shock but I believe an ideology like mine is what ISD needs. Roleplay over arrests.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
Managing Relations:
As the director one of your sole purposes is to ensure the healthy relations between both ISD with other departments and ISD's members, making sure ISD are working together as a team with other "Team's". This also falls in line with a few other duties.
Listening and handling complaints and suggestions:
As a director you will get many complaints from all over the site, including from within ISD. It is essential you both listen and work on what is being relayed to you. However, it's not all complaints. Sometimes you may get suggestions. You should handle these accordingly consulting with the other director on suggestions that seem reasonable and beneficial to ISD, eventually bringing them to the according people (Which could very well just be yourself) if deemed necessary.
Overseeing operations and ensuring correct documentation:
As director you should observe every investigation/operation and ensure that it follows correct procedure but also that the documentation to follow is in line with the operation and is of a decent to high standard.
Ensuring Standards:
Another duty of the director is to ensure that ISD is acting professional at all times and keeping on top of their duties. For example; Inspectors and Commissioners working together to stay on top of their unit. This is probably the most important duty as ISD would be in shambles without it.
Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jordan Archon formerly known as Silencer, Hitman-24, Staff Sergeant Archon. He stands at roughly 6’1, 107 kg, roughly 26 years old.
Jordan Archon has a known past in law enforcement and military forces such as the United States Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigations and the United States special forces CoBRA. His time in CoBRA lasted a total of 3 years starting at the young age of 18 and finishing at 21 this is where he picked up many combat skills and received a government approved gun license for side arms, assault rifles and heavy weaponry. After his service in CoBRA he applied for the Secret Service. He served in the Secret Service’s Emergency Response team arm for 2 years, he realised it wasn't for him and signed an interest form for the FBI.
His form was moved to the interview stage when they saw his impressive past and put him in the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team. He served in the HRT for almost 2 years before he had a run in with what appeared to be an armed prisoner wearing a comedy mask leaking black ink.
The HRT’s were called due to the prisoner being armed and walking right into a hotel and shooting multiple civilians dead before holding a few hostage. The prisoner appeared to show no sign of willingness to negotiate and a gun fight ensued.
Jordan was one of three survivors. Unknown armed men arrived at the scene and caged the mask up before driving off in black SUV’s, these were our own MTF operatives. Jordan was rushed to the ER with bullet wounds and strangely enough, acid burns on his forearm, yet no acid was seen to be used on CCTV footage.
Special Agent Archon spent two months recovering before returning to work until he was approached by a group of men known as the Unusual Incident Unit branch of the FBI. He kept the title of Special Agent and joined the UIU's MOOT and was put onto Operation Snowfall.
Operation Snowfall was an organised assessment raid on what the UIU suspected to be an unnecessary and fabricated military compound which just so happened to be Site-65.
Jordan was the head of the Beta-3 Squadron and led the way into the facility securing the area of Entrance Zone for the following known squadrons: Alpha-5, Charlie-9, Echo-1, Sigma-8.
It was a huge gun fight and many lives were lost. Eventually Archon led a fraction of his team into Heavy Containment Zone. They realised this wasn’t their average military base and instead contained many anomalous beings. They requested an exfiltration but their request was responded to with radio static. They dropped their weapons, pressed their palms on their foreheads and surrendered.
Jordan and █████ ███████ were recruited to the Foundation for their skill and willingness to comply with surrendering terms. █████ ███████ and Jordan Archon were recruited to their own departments Jordan taking up the Internal Security Department and █████ ███████ joining Mobile Task Force Unit Nu-7. Jordan is currently serving as an ISD Investigator and █████ is currently serving as an Nu-7 SGT.
However, recently due to a step up or a "Elevation" if you will from the recent director Jordan was given an oppurtunity, an undeniable one. He was presented with 3 weeks of trials and observations for a greater position in return. He was intrigued as to what this could entail so he followed it up. 3 weeks later he came back on site in a new coloured suit and a fancy new title. "Director Jordan Archon"
Jordan's personality has been noted down to the following; head strong, combat effective, skilled with interrogations, impressive intelligence, law enforcement abilities and court room skills and surprisingly kind, charming and welcoming attitude to all staff site wide.
