"Ms. Watanabe, could you please tell me what motivated you to apply for the position of Site Advisor?":
"Thank you for the question!

My decision to become a Site Advisor is mainly due to my experience as a researcher at Site-79. The work I did there was not focused on the high-level management, but on the small, almost insignificant details—the containment field's subtle shift in resonance, the minute data changes that nobody else noticed.

I found out that the most disastrous containment escapes and staff problems hardly ever originate from a big explosion. They become small cracks, unnoticed inconsistencies, or unrecognized psychological pressures. A good Site Advisor, in my view, is not the person who puts out the biggest fire, but the person who ensures the conditions for a fire are never met in the first place.

I want to use my experience and my attention to detail to serve the Foundation on a wider scale, to help protect the integrity of our sites and the well-being of the personnel who operate within them. That is the role I believe I am best suited for."

"Based on your past experience, what qualities do you possess that make you a suitable candidate for Site Administration?":
"I consider myself to be the best fit for the job because I have a one-of-a-kind feature which arises from both my personal and professional experiences - my capacity to notice and understand the small things without speaking.

As a junior researcher at Site-79, my work taught me how crucial it is to find the small cracks in a system before they get bigger. While others may concentrate on the loud and easy to spot threats, I have learned that the most severe problems are the ones that become a few subtlest inconsistencies or breach of procedures in the starting phase.

High pressure situations have, moreover, given me a thorough insight into human nature. Managing protocols is just a part of the job. Managing people is a must too. As a result of which I am very good at spotting the very moment when people have reached their limit or when 'emotional war' among staff is leading to the formation of security loopholes in our operations.

Method of issuing orders is not my forte but making sure that orders shall not be needed is my strong point. I can foresee trouble rather than simply reacting to it. I think that such a quiet and preventative policy is exactly what the Site Administration requires."

"In your view, what are the key functions of Site Administration, and how would you execute them?":
"In my view, the key functions of Site Administration are fundamentally about maintaining balance. This means balancing the rigid demands of containment with the needs of the personnel who carry them out. I see it broken down into three critical areas.

First is containment integrity. This is the core of our mission. For me, execution goes beyond simply enforcing protocols. It involves always looking for the limitations of the system that usual processes might not consider. I also would spend time conducting unexpected inspections of small containment units and going through the latest data anomalies from our on-site sensors. The smallest inconsistency can signal a brewing problem.

Second is personnel stability. Our greatest asset is not our technology, but the people who use it. I believe a stable and confident workforce is a secure workforce. Stressed, overlooked, or unheard personnel make mistakes. I would execute this by creating avenues for open communication, including anonymous feedback channels, to address small issues before they become large ones. It is my responsibility to ensure the team feels supported so they can focus on their work without distraction.

Lastly, there is proactive problem-solving. A good administrator doesn’t just react to a crisis; they see it coming. My execution of this function would involve a constant state of quiet observation—of our containment procedures, our personnel's behavior, and the subtle interactions between them. I would make it my priority to identify potential issues and address them at their root, long before a containment breach or a catastrophic failure is even a possibility."

Additionally, I have read the guidelines. They should be a refresher for site advisors during their duties. Besides, I'm aware their duties include appointing directors and commanders, manage departments, policies & and performance & authorizing certain research studies & the usage of the advanced armory system."

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

The records of Kaede Watanabe depict a character whose day-to-day life seems to be quite normal, at least as far as it can be understood from the short descriptions she leaves behind. Her record shows that she is an engaging and well-mannered individual, who enjoys green tea and is good at making complicated origami. Most of the time, she dresses casually, but her clothes are always clean and in good shape, and she keeps her area of work in such a way that it is both appealing and functional, normally there are small, not too flashy, things and plants to decorate her desk or office. Those who work with her usually say that she is very approachable and kind. She is a person whose much-needed support is not only through her words but also through her friendly smile. Moreover, for instance, she is known as such a person who can calm down an angry person speaking in a polite tone and showing disarming honesty.

At the same time, behind that faceless exterior, she has a brilliant mind and is very determined. Kaede is not a powerhouse in terms of fighting or administration but she doesn't hide her directness as she hides it behind tactful smiles and a soft voice in her deep knowledge of human psychology and her intuitive feeling of the upcoming problems. This talent, which she got from Site-79, has brought high appreciation from her colleagues as well as her superiors. She is very good at the art of influence and she is a very successful person when it comes to negotiating complex social relations in the Foundation. Even though she looks like a passive spectator, she still keeps herself very well informed, which, in turn, helps her to safeguard, though in a low profile way, the Foundation's interests as well as the personnel.

Kaede Watanabe's childhood was, by all accounts, a happy one. The traditions of her town were just a five-minute car ride from the city's mean streets, and the house was a simple one with only her parents and an irritating little brother, Kenji, who's always making trouble. The house used to be their refuge from the cruel world and it was packed with the warmth of her mother's cooking, the fragrance of her father's carpentry, and the low talking of a family that was very close. Kaede was a silent and thoughtful girl who understood the world through the smallest things-the perfect creases of origami, the bitter taste of grandmother's green tea, and the innumerable new worlds that she found in the middle of the book covers.

Unfortunately, her school was not the same as her home, the protective walls around which she lives with her family. Her kind and gentle spirit, as well as her calmer and quieter nature, made her a target. She was not beaten but was, however, subjected to a less visible and more wicked nature. The other children, relentlessly bullying her, making fun of her hobbies, refuse to accept her views and talk about her so that others will perceive her as unusual. Her complicated origami pieces would be partially ripped, her green tea thermos would be "accidentally" spilled, and she would be secluded from group works and different social circles most of the time.

This frequent, continuous bullying, though quite subtle most of the time, made her suffer from loneliness mostly because she had almost no one she could share her problems with. Kaede had repressed the barrage of her unquiet thoughts for a very long time and, in this way, had ultimately transformed her brain into a noticeably brilliant one. With her studies, she had become very sincere and diligent, which, in turn, had made the exact, logical, and somewhat controlled world of the academic more acceptable to her. The result of this loyal study was that she rose through the ranks to the top of the class, and after her graduation, a well-known corporate consulting firm in Asahikawa hired her.

Kaede's silence had ceased being an impediment to her success and was instead her unique characteristic that allowed her to become the new workplace. She got the job of the company's internal consultant, and she also managed to do her work excellently. Her work was to facilitate the intricate social interactions of different businesses, foresee staff conflicts, and discover potential risks in the system before they harmed the firm. She was not the one who would yell out in the boardroom meetings but the person whom executives sought their private consultations with, as they trusted her superb talent of reading between the lines and giving them not only effective but also discreet solutions.
