What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I believe I’m the best candidate for Overseer Assistant because I have held several CL4 roles in the past including assistant and other non combative positions that I had done good work in previously which can be seen through my documentation during my time as an Executive and my current doc work as a DEA showing that I am competent in engaging in non combative work. I enjoy creating and engaging in passive RP with others which I plan to do any chance I get if I were an assistant. Since joining A-1 again recently I’ve been able to get a better insight into how O5 and their assistants function, as I already work alongside them it helped me get a feel of what the assistant role would ask of me making sure I understood the role entirely and I believe I can meet those expectations.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
An assistants job is to lessen the workload for O5 members which can be done in many different ways such as those below.
Assistants are to take orders from O5 and carry them out reporting directly back to them to ensure that progress is being made and that all their information on said orders are up to date.
Ensuring that the FLC is being upheld along with all other site policies and reporting breaches of policies to the relevant people depending on the situation.
Act as a liaison for foundation staff to get messages to O5 members without their time being wasted and safety compromised.
Authorise advanced armoury usage in the absence of higher CL4 being on site.

Kaz O’Connor born in Co. Laois, Ireland had a typical childhood. His father a mechanic and his mother a teacher. He grew up in a normal house in a normal village everything about his life was average. This made him hungry, hungry for excitement in his life at a young age he set his sights on becoming a Garda, his determination never wavered all the way up until graduation. After meeting the requirements he immediately became a Guard but found himself burnt out and seeking another challenge after just a year. He decided he was going to New York City partially due to its ties with Ireland and he also thought it must be exciting over there. He packed everything he could fit in his suitcase, handed in his resignation and was off.
After living and working as a bartender in NYC for awhile to gain citizenship, he was finally eligible to become apart of the NYPD and immediately got through the training. As a new officer in a city much larger than any he had ever known, he was initially frightened but persisted despite his nerves. The amount of crime was the biggest change and his favourite part of the job it was exactly what he had been yearning for since a child. Excitement. On duty he never caught a break always en-route to another call as soon as the last was resolved. He made a name for himself and eventually his Lieutenant had started to take notice. One morning before going on patrol he was called to the Lt.’s office where he was informed of his upcoming promotion ceremony to detective.
He continued to climb the rank ladder gaining more and more experience, leading his own investigations and becoming a role model for other officers. One of the most well known law enforcement names in the city he had reached Captain he was big into working with the FBI and built relationships between the two departments which had previously been shaky. He was so good in fact he was even offered a special agent position but turned it down feeling he belonged with NYPD. Due to his popularity within the FBI his name was circulated through their offices. The “SCP Foundation” had caught wind of his name, his ability to work among several departments at once and overall performance in the field and decided to investigate further after almost a year of background checks, investigations, performance reports and other safety measures that were occurring unbeknownst to Kaz, they had made a decision. Three men in black suits uniformly marched to his office unannounced, quickly filling the room with a heavy presence looming over them. Initially he assumed they were feds but as they started to guard the room and shut the blinds he realised they had no badge. One man spoke as the others watched attentively for any signs of danger, the man offered Kaz a once in a lifetime position for the Foundation which he was given very vague information on. Assuming it was some top secret CIA business he agreed and was transported to a remote Site-65 in Canada to be briefed on his new position as an Overseer Assistant under direct supervision by O5-█ “███ ██████”
