Why are you applying for Director of External Affairs? I am applying for the role of Director for External Affairs for many varying reasons, honestly being influenced by both In and Out of Character points. One such point being that I enjoy creating and involving myself in RP, not limiting myself to any type to be honest ranging from most commonly the general duties of a DEA personnel to even just with other people I would speak to on an infrequent basis. The versatility of the role really is a big attraction for me as we get to spearhead all interactions with non - Foundation personnel whilst also being able to play a heavy part in actions on site also. I also believe that my previous time as Director of External Affairs was my most fun I have had in any role on the server, therefore would like to experience this again with a new group of people in the Department, who's experience on the server I aim to improve which will inevitably make it more enjoyable for myself also.
In addition, I feel like I have a strong relationship with the members of External Affairs management team, therefore communication will be no issue when transferring information with each other and keeping everyone in the loop etc and seem to work very well together in terms of handling situations. I would also like to help the currently Director, Jeremy, by taking more of the workload of the department off him as he has been running the department alone for a while, quite well I might add, but this will mean that he has a lesser workload hopefully preventing the game from feeling like a chore at times etc.

What makes you suitable for Director of External Affairs?: Firstly, I have already held the role previously so am proficient with its roles and duties. But moreover I believe that I am good at interacting and creating RP with a vast majority of the player base which will be important for communication between Departments and other Groups of Interest (GoIs). This itself is, in my opinion, the most important part of holding a leadership position as a Department head, as situations are most likely to playout smooth instead of coming across as a giant mess filled with confusion due to people being on different pages.

Activity:
Despite my fluctuating work schedule, I still manage to maintain a good Vtime in my position, being able to communicate well with the Department seniors to ensure I am aware of everything I am required to, ensuring that we are all on the same page and get stuff done in an efficient manner. As an active member of the community, my actions are rather visible to the community and I believe that players may be inclined to join the Department when they see it in a healthy state.
Experienced:
As stated prior, I have held the role prior and believe I did a good job in doing so first time around. More importantly I have held a vast number of senior positions which has given me the ability to effectively manage a wide number of personalities in order to bring out the best out of people by giving them relevant experience and guiding them in the right direction, making sure to steer them on the right path to be successful on the server.
Knowledgeable:
This can be interpreted in many ways, however I mean it generally to the lore of SCP and the server itself, which gives me an advantage in creating both planned and spontaneous RP interactions with people of all backgrounds and departments / regiments. I also think that I have maintained a reputation of high quality leadership skills dating back to when I held senior positions on the MRP server, to holding senior positions shortly after making my way to the SCP server.
Determined:
My current goal is to increase the average CL3 agents experience, very general however there are many ways to do this ranging from the basics, such as activity and commonly interacting with newer members, all the way to engaging with them in frequent RP scenarios and operations that will allow them to gage the entirety of the Department's abilities. Combining all of these will hopefully incite players to maintain activity within the department, leading to greater RP possibilities and also recruiting potential CL4 holders in the future, which will of course give them an even wider perspective of the server as they will have more to do with other Departments and be able to spearhead their own operations in the short time.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?: I think that the main responsibilities as Director is to ensure I have a solid chain of command first and foremost. This is because running the entire department alone will be extremely difficult and draining after a short amount of time, therefore I will choose the correct people to fill the roles. People who I trust and have utmost faith in execute my wishes that keep the foundation's priorities at the top.
Furthermore, maintaining relations with other departments and MTF units is a top priority as communications need to be clear at all times, especially when dealing with Groups of Interest on the surface and ensuring that RP is smooth with them. To do this I will personally request meetings with the leaders of said units in order that we are on the same page with almost every situation.
