What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
| Leadership | Throughout my time on the server, I have held a few leadership roles. Most notably Directory of Research. During my tenure as Director of Research, I spearheaded a documentational reform, re-creating and/or revitalising old and outdated documentation as well as re-organising the Research Department divisional structure, and organising monthly meeting with the Research Directorate of the U.S.A server, in order to more effectively and efficiently process and develop new legislature for each server, that would apply to the Research department, "globally". In my time as a UNGOC Commissioned Officer, I have done similar work as; I created new documentation that better reflected the UNGOC as well as creating and organising the recently implemented Unit Identifiers, Divisions and Teams systems (feel free to DM me for more information on this subject). Currently, I am working on organising events and missions for our Training and Operations (T&O) team to provide a more unique roleplay experience to the UNGOC. During my extensive service in MTF Epsilon-11, I assisted with the discipline and induction of NCOs and Enlisteds as part of the "Drill Sergeant" programme, such duties included: Hosting Trainings, delivering punishment trainings and minor infractions, as well as hosting regular tryouts. I believe that my experience and involvement in these roles is unparalelled on the server. |

| Knowlege | I am not sure if this will gain any credit, but i'll include it anyway. This also contributes to why I am applying for this position initially. I consider myself to have a large knowlegebase and appreciation for the SCP Universe and what goes into it. I don't mean I know X amount of SCPs or anything, what I mean is that I enjoy exploring and reading into the more obscure parts of the canon. It's why I enjoy my position in the UNGOC a lot, and also why my current UNGOC character is a thaumaturgic zealot from The Eternal Temple. The SCP Universe, is dynamic, interesting and above all, weird. I have familiarised myself with some of the weirder aspects of the Foundation such as the Liquidation Department, The Department of Occult Containment (or similar), and the Overseer's Factotum. I believe that my knowlege in these more obscure and strange areas of the SCP Canon will enable me to provide interesting and reallistic roleplay to the position of Overseer Assistant. |
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
| Overseer Assistants are part of the Overseer's Factotum. They are part of the O5 Council's personal delegation, selected for their loyalty. (I'm gonna nerd out on the next bit) Many interactions with an "O5" are actually mediated by an Assistant, "dressed and disguised to perfectly resembly their assigned Council Member." Anyway, before I get away from myself: Overseer Assistants are tasked with enforcing, invoking or relaying the orders and wishes of the Overseer Council. Dr. Frederick MillsClearance Level: 4Personnel Classification: B Staff Title: Executive Researcher Working Site: Site-65 DoB: 08/11/1983 (Previous) Nationality: British Citizen Biographical Information:Born in Hammersmith, London. Frederick Mills lived in [REDACTED], Oxfordshire for the first 19 years of his life, before relocating to Peterborough to attent Cambridge University in late 2002 to study Applied Mathmatics Theoretical Physics. Frederick graduated with a PhD in 2011. Sometime after this Frederick ecountered "something". Frederick refuses to tell Foundation personnel what exactly he did encounter, but what is known is that the encounter led to Frederick beginning his studies in Thaumaturgy. In 2014 Frederick was accepted into the International Center for the Study of Unified Thaumaturgy. Frederick applied his knowlege of Theoretical Physics into his thaumaturgy practice, resulting in the increased potency of occult rituals performed.Agent [REDACTED], a Foundation agent, tasked with internal observation of the ICSUT, procured and briefly interrogated Frederick in regards to the elevated strength of his thaumaturgic practices, before attempting to administer a General Retograde amnestic agent. The exact details of this encounter are unknown, however Agent [REDACTED] failed to administer the amnestic agent and had entered an irreversible psychosis. A follow-up investigation on this incident resulted in Agent [REDACTED] incapacitating Frederick before moving him to a secure location for interrogation. Initially in a panicked state, Frederick spent the majority of initial interactions speaking in incoherent whispers. After approximately 7 minutes, Frederick began to slowly answer Foundation interviews, transcript of this interview can be found attached at the bottom of this file. Upon conclusion of the interrogation, Doctor [REDACTED] proceeded to attempt to administer a Class A Amnestic Agent, before being interrupted by Frederick saying, "That will not be necessary, Doctor [REDACTED]," naming the scientist, despite no previous converstation nor interacting being held between the two. Startled by this, Doctor [REDACTED] inquired as to why it was not necessary. Frederick responded, stating that he is familliar with the Foundation's work as well as naming and describing some local operations. Frederick refused to elaborate how and when the information was procured. Frederick then stated "For the record: the... 'monsters' you have stored with your 'Foundation' have peaked my interest." Frederick was escorted out of Site-[REDACTED] and returned to the ICSUT. Upon review of an incident report, Director Carlona filed a formal recommendation of Frederick to the Department of Human Resources.
