What makes you suitable for Director of External Affairs?:
I believe I have consistently shown dedication and initiative in my work for the department. I organized and led a major cross-test with SOP, GOC, and E-11, which provided the DEA with valuable experience working alongside other groups. I have also taken on leadership responsibilities by running meetings, serving as a point of contact with other GOIs, and assisting both colleagues within the department and members outside of it whenever possible. In addition, I have been responsible for sourcing and obtaining important chemicals the department was missing, ensuring we are prepared for future opportunities. Beyond this, I have helped secure critical documents and materials from CI, and I also played a role in planning and ensuring the success of a raid to recover items stolen from us. Each of these actions reflects my commitment to the department’s goals and the broader mission we serve.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?:
Please give some lore about your Director of External Affairs character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Miti “Shanika” was once a skilled spy, specializing in infiltrating foreign nations, gathering intelligence, and smuggling back classified documents for his homeland. His work in the shadows made him an invaluable asset, but one day, he was handed a mission unlike any other—a mission so secret that he wasn’t even told the details.
Blindfolded and loaded into the back of a truck, Shanika was transported to a hidden training facility inside a warehouse. For six grueling months, he endured relentless drills, brutal conditioning, and psychological tests designed to push him past the limits of body and mind. When his training was finally complete, he was summoned to a sealed room where men in dark suits awaited him. After a round of intense questioning, they congratulated him: he had passed. From that moment forward, Shanika would serve the SCP Foundation, assigned to the Department of External Affairs (DEA) at Site-65.
Through these missions, Shanika began to uncover the Foundation’s complex web of alliances and rivalries. From Marshall, Carter & Dark Ltd., he learned that their dealings went beyond luxury goods—they also supplied the Foundation with weapons and other dangerous assets. Escorting agents from the Global Occult Coalition (GOC) taught him that, while allies at times, the GOC often took extreme measures, by destroying SCPs and showing little regard for collateral damage.
On another mission, he aided a fellow agent in infiltrating a Chaos Insurgency base, successfully extracting sensitive documents and reclaiming a stolen SCP. These operations built his reputation, making him both respected and distrusted, admired and feared.
Within Site-65, Shanika is a vigilant guardian. He ensures no one collaborates with the CI, enforces the rules surrounding the use of SCP-914, and keeps a close eye on the wellbeing and morale of his fellow agents. Beyond the Site, he often takes charge in negotiations with GOIs, using diplomacy to navigate delicate situations where violence could spell disaster.

First Days at Site-65
