VTime + Warnings
What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
- O5-2, for which I will be using the pseudonym of 'The Thorned Crown', but this will not be all that is seen. Should there be times where I wish to employ a different pseudonym or character, I will run it by the Council for legitimacy for a temporary time. Similar to the different people in -1's office that created good roleplay.
I've been on the server for about 7 months now, and for most of that time it has been in Omega-1, and OSA. I've greatly enjoyed my time in both, and it has definitely been leading up to my general interest in going for a position in the Council due to a few reasons. Primarily, I've found that I greatly enjoy what the Council can do as outlined in the Site Command Guidelines. They're results-driven, which is what I've been encouraging in my interactions as OSA. Julia Yang as a character has developed in a bit of a natural way to slowly sway towards that purely results-driven focus, and it has only strengthened my desire to apply for a Council position.
Naturally a part of this application is also being encouraged to do so. While I put a lot of effort into OSA, I was cited as having done pretty much a lot of the responsibilities already, and in general I want to help with the FCOM side of things. So just short of pushing to do more as an OSA, this is what can get me there!
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
- I've been intimately dealing with the O5 side of FCOM due to my position as an OSA, and further a Factotum member. This meant that I was given a position as a Personal Assistant, and granted a bit more authority in that regard. I was trusted highly by Steven (O5-3) and have regularly carried out orders to an extremely good quality of both roleplay and effect thereafter. An example would be the various times I have been asked to stay in for GOI meetings, and make Foundation-wide decisions trusted to me by the Councillors at the time.
While activity is not a massive focus, as staying on the job for long, long hours is not what is expected, my activity is a plus. I do like playing the server a lot and speaking to people, as well as encouraging them to play a character and bounce off me. This has led to me having quite a good presence (obviously trying to write this as objectively as possible) where people enjoy interacting with me, and it leads to better conduct and attitudes in-game.
I have this general focus on trying to, as some Councillors have tried in the past, make a slightly more enigmatic authority. Someone that won't necessarily go into D-Block and just chat or swing around a bit, but I believe that with my presence being elsewhere, taking interest in people myself, I can bring back some of that mystique where people can get called up to the Administrative Sector and not quite know why. They could possibly have their character be afraid, only for it to be support of a project. That's the kind of environment I want to set, and I believe it to be healthy for people's characters and roleplay as a whole.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
- To separate these into CL5 and the similar CL4 responsibilities, the general gist is that they have a similar set of responsibilities to Site Administration, albeit kicked up a notch.
CL5 Responsibilities:
- The O5 Council members handle the applications for:

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
- To separate these into CL5 and the similar CL4 responsibilities, the general gist is that they have a similar set of responsibilities to Site Administration, albeit kicked up a notch.
CL5 Responsibilities:
- They organise employment hearings and, albeit rarely, participate in high tribunal proceedings.
- Deal with the highest level of infoleaks on-site. Should this compromise OPSEC or the mission statement, the O5 Council will deploy Alpha-1 to deal with the threat.
- Should a mass-breach occur and ERT has failed in their mission, they are responsible for Code Black procedures (up to and after the ERT's failure) to then authorise the usage of the on-site warhead. This is to be used if a breach has gone on for far too long and has become extremely detrimental to server health, and the situation warrants the RP reset for it to continue.
- Approving and creating relevant operations, including but not specifically limited to Research, that is just the main one. Mostly this will involve tests that create, destroy, or permanently alter an anomaly.
- Assist in the creation of site-wide policy.
- Authorisation of AA when 2 or more Keter-class SCPs are breached.
- Authorisation of mass-terminations in mass D-Class escapes.
- Previously mentioned crisis management (coordinating in codes) in the absence of other experienced personnel.
- Issuance of orders and opening of certain investigations.
- Assisting struggling departments that may not have their upper leadership roles filled. This is especially prevalent with Research as they pick the DoRs.
- Assisting in authorisations of GOI operations in the absence of SOP. This is usually when both SOP member departments are unavailable and they can pick it up.
- The O5 Council members handle the applications for:
- Directors of Research
- Site Director
- Overseer Assistants
- Alpha-1 Commander (through selection, not application)

You have been warned.
Where do I begin. This will likely be my final notes on her, already I've made enough enemies.
Eo has done all that was asked of her and more. I knew there was something special about her, and I've fostered the mentality she needed.
She was too trusting, and I've been getting her on the right path, and I've seen the lengths she'll go to for the mission statement.
I've left her a note if I'm unable to contact her further, and I know she'll react very extremely to it. I know how she sees me, with a bit of choice words... I have no doubt she'll take steps to consolidate power and keep herself safe. I cannot say more about that here.
I've tested her, just like Economou. She's weathered the coming and going of a few Councillors now. She even put her head down and did work for -10, despite the obvious discontent. I'm not leaving this to wax poetic or try convince you that a Fae deserves this. I'm leaving it to say that she has done the work of the Council on Site-65 and has been so dedicated to its completion that it's surprised even me. Hell, she's practically been a member of the Council ever since she became my personal assistant.
Keep that in mind for a while. A lot of the administrative presence has been her. Don't do anything stupid, beyond usual anyway.
After all that, he couldn't hold on.
He goes on to mention how I should remember to not trust anyone, starts getting all somber, and he's gone. Shot through the head, and leaving nothing but notes to say who it could've been. Graner kept holding him back, all for an uncaring master that couldn't see the issues on this site. It could've been prevented.
I'm stuck picking up the pieces, and only right at the very end did he show he cared. Rough way to show "tough love" by getting yourself assassinated... and leaving me here. I doubt the next one will see the same value in me. He pulled me out of the forested area rife with stories and fought to have people see me as more than that. I can hardly believe it ended up working, but after -10's visit, I'm afraid. I can hardly tell anyone, so I may as well write it down. I've spoken with -2 and he might help, but... I'm on my own for now, it seems.
The coat is at least comfy, bastard...
