Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
Essentially - Enjoyment!
After the year turned, a thought came into the back of my head, after being away for essentially 3 years, I wanted to try my hand at SCP-RP again, see if it was still enjoyable for me. And so far I must say yes, it is! Infact I have more fun with IA now than I remember having last time I played.
Now why ISD Inspector? Because I find it varied, you never know what you will do next, tribunal, test oversight, arrest, investigation?
I have always loved the diversity of tasks. To experience the full range of that and make it more enjoyable for newer players, I would like to advance into ISD management.
Besides that, I have found the current ISD roster to be nothing but friendly and enjoyable to play with. From Director to Inspector, I have had no negative experiences, especially with the current Inspector team. I would love the opportunity to join them!

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
Activity
I started playing again around mid-January. Since then, I have consistently played on ISD and participated in more than a handful of operations and events, averaging a few hours a day. Should my application for Inspector be accepted, this shows that I will be able to represent junior ISD leadership daily, show up for operations and investigations, start them, train agents and operatives, and generally be a friendly face for our department.
Experience
I have considerable experience in CL4 and CL5 roles. I was with Archaon the 3rd generation of IA Directors, and then spent eight months as an ECM/O5.
I know what is expected of CL4 personnel, and since 2022 I have learned a great deal. I will be able to help with any matters regarding managerial duties and documentation.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
In my opinion, the ideal Inspector would be approachable, fair, measured and calm.
Nobody enjoys it when someone with ISD's extensive RP powers immediately goes on a rampage.
The ideal Inspector should therefore be a mentor and role model for agents, a competent and helpful assistant to upper ISD management and a reliable contact for anyone else dealing with ISD. You should neither be pushed around nor abuse your powers.

During my time as an agent/investigator, I have written multiple arrest reports, fines and incident logs, as well as a major report on the ISD server change event Outpost 'GAMMA'.
Documents of this nature must be of a high standard in terms of grammar, formatting and standardisation, which is especially important in Internal Security. They should generally serve their purpose and be visually appealing.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
Day-to-day management
During daily operations, inspectors handle complaints, agent assignments, investigations and representation of the ISD in dealings with other departments.
Training/Recruitment
Inspectors are the main component in training new ISD Agents/Operatives
Disciplinary actions
If agents, operatives or investigators abuse their positions by making a false arrest or breaking the FLC in any way, inspectors are responsible for dealing with the situation.
Dealing with higher level infractions
Inspectors have the power to detain and arrest senior CL4 holders, such as directors and commanders, with the exception of site administration.
They will therefore normally deal with such individuals.
Secondly, they are also tasked with assisting Agents, Operatives and Investigators with arrests of Junior CL4 holders, as different standards need to be upheld.
Operations/Departmental Health
The final responsibility is to initiate and direct operations, promoting the health of the department in a manner that makes participating as an ISD CL3 holder rewarding and enjoyable. They should also be able to report to Commissioners+ on the day-to-day state of the ISD as well as advise on candidates for the rank of Investigator.

During my time as an Investigator and Agent, I have set up two operations that have been quite successful so far, assisted with others and helped to train new agents under supervision. I have also generally been a friendly face for ISD. I am experienced in CL4 roles and knowledgeable enough to handle the responsibility.
I have dealt with people fairly and calmly, and I always try to help out where I can. I strive to be the best influence on server roleplay possible, doing more than just making arrests.
In addition to all this, my level of activity would mark me as a net positive addition to the ISD Inspector team.

-Currently, I have planned a storyline involving the development of a truth serum, but I am still working out the details.
