Yes, unfortunately I have been banned once for toxicity/harassment before.
I have said some dumb stuff to some nice people, which I did not think through at the time. I have learned from those mistakes, and since then have not been in any bad contact with staff.
Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I have been a Sergeant for almost a month now, I have learned a great many things during this time period and I would like to continue growing within the GSD department. On top of that I'd like to scout new potential Sergeants alongside the current Captains, host riot license tryouts and do trainings with newer players. I have mostly been playing on my Sergeant whitelist, and I believe that this is a right moment for me to try and go up in the chain of command.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
During the past few weeks as Sergeant (and as GSD in general) I have shown dedication, activity and eagerness to learn. I take no shame in admitting that I am still learning loads of new things about the server, and I would love to share my knowledge with new players that decide to try out GSD roles.
As a Sergeant I have been leading sweeps, doing patrols and helped out new Cadets to better understand their role as GSD. I can safely say that I take my tasks as serious, and make sure they are done correctly. I would also like to experience more RP scenario's that come with D-Class interactions (Like work permits for example).
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Security Captains have quite some responsibilities , I will list a few important ones below.
- Look for new potential Sergeants within the Officer corps.
- Hosting Riot License tryouts
- Hosting trainings
- Help out new gensec players
- Give out job permits to trusted D-Class personnel
- Station gensec personnel during emergency situations
- Ensure gensec is properly manning POI's
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Mark is an ex Royal Marechaussee (Dutch Military Police) that entered the site-65 Cadet program. Showing great skill and dedication he managed to work his way up to Sergeant, which is around the time things went south. After a brutal encounter with SCP-106 during a containment breach, Mark was dragged into 106's pocket dimension. He was marked KIA, until he reappeared three days later, covered in burnmarks and whispering in Dutch no one could understand. Mark was medically cleared, but never remained the same. Mark is still active as Sergeant of Security, hoping to one day make it to Captain of Security.
