Original Steam login name (your accounts first ever name): Leon Edwards For how long have you played on CG SCP-RP: I first joined this server somewhere around March - April 2023 and made a return near September 2023. Here is my total playtime. Age: 23 In what country are you located?: Canada Time zone: CST Foundation Name (include your regiment and rank if applicable): James Siegel Chaos name (include your rank): Martin 'Marauder' - Beta Civilian name: Joe goodman Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:560896223 Discord ID (name#0000): marcm__ Do you have a mic?: Yes What server are you applying for?: SCP-RP UK Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: No, this is my first Gamemaster application. Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: I have received a few warns and just one ban that was appealed due to a misunderstanding with Staff. All my warnings are since long expired and mainly from reasons of misunderstandings (atleast in the recent months, all have been things I learned from which back then I wasn't really aware of in terms of rules). My older warns were me being rather careless, which I have stepped out from and sighted into a better perspective towards being clean with warns, bans and such. Do note that these warns do not influence nor reflect my current image, I always strive to improve, 24/7. |
General Questions | Section Two |
---|
Q: Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community?A: Previously, I had held positions on numerous FiveM servers which ran off of the DOJ Roleplay theme. This kind of roleplay was much stricter, more serious, and highly immersive, requiring the entirety of the playerbase to stay in character at all times. It involved developing and improvising on situations continuously, meaning that even during OOC situations, staff scenes, and such, everyone had to remain in roleplay until the situation was resolved and taken to a staff sit or VC. On one of these servers, which I will not mention here, I once held a high civilian rank that involved planning roleplay for the entire server on both the Law Enforcement (LEO) and Civilian sides. This ranged from simple "strangers and freaks" events, to larger scale and Special Roleplay event scenarios with the actual Event Team, certain Admins, and even the Owners who often joined Special Roleplay events to record content for their respective channels. While this experience may not strictly fall under "Event Team/Gamemaster" experience, it does demonstrate my capability in involving myself in large, planned-out roleplay scenarios people from inside the Event Team. Creating such roleplay scenarios was a norm for most high-ranking players (likewise it was stated in the Civilian SOP, aka the handbook) so it was an expectation. Q: Do you have any previous experience with serious roleplay? A: I used to hold several whitelisted, application-based positions relating to generic Civilians, Law Enforcement, and DOJ inside FiveM servers for a few years (2019 - early 2023). This involved very strict roleplay. Additionally, I held one or two public positions inside a DarkRP server and have also tried HL2RP when I first joined the Garry's Mod Community. These past experiences were very valuable and taught me a lot about roleplay creation and scene involvement. I then moved on to SCP-RP, which taught me mostly funny and semi-serious roleplay. Despite the lighter tone and ease of access with things around the creation of roleplay, I have tried to remain serious and committed to character development and immersion at all times on most of my roleplay scenes. I've participated in a few events with the Gamemaster team here on SCP-RP, contributing to and and rarely sometimes co-lead events relating to my department or juridisction. I am also a Senior CL4 member of Foundation Staff and a roleplay leader as the Chief of Security. I have dedicated myself to a lot of roleplay and character involvement around the Site, as well as extensive documentation work, roleplay events, and teaching the new player base in GENSEC since I became Chief on 12/31/2023. I have been an Executive Researcher, where I participated in thaumatology and sampling projects. As an Ethics Assistant, while I didn't do much as an ECA, I still did contribute to major orders and participated in events and roleplay scenes led by those orders. Q: How many hours can you be on everyday? A: It depends on my work schedule, and I am quite busy on most working days, and even sometimes on holidays. This does not disable my ability to be active and often on to create events if given the ability to. I strongly believe I'd be able to be on the server for 5+ hours a day if needed, and at times where I would be the busiest, up to 2 - 3 hours or even more. It all depends but if I have to dedicate a lot of time into an event or something that would make up a great roleplay story/scenario, I believe I'd dedicate a lot of my freetime into it and be on for as much as possible till it's done. Q: Why do you want to become a Gamemaster on our server? A: I would like to become a Gamemaster here and I'd first like thank @Lord Mirai (未来) for recommending into applying towards this position, I also thank him for creating a lot of roleplay around me during my time as Chief of Security which influenced me greatly into getting interested on trying to become a Gamemaster. I believe I have the experience, creativity, and courage that can drive my passion into creating events and roleplay stories for the server. I am confident in my ability to create engagement and detailed roleplay scenarios with extensive backgrounds and in-depth quality. While I am a beginner in props, building, dupes, and similar tools in GMod, I'm eager to learn. With the right guidance, I believe I could become a great event-maker/Gamemaster and provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved in my potentially thoughtfully crafted events. Q: What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants? A: I believe I could contribute well as a future Gamemaster with my sheer amount of qualities and strengths that set me apart from other applicants. I consistently attempt in demonstrating my willingness to dedicate time, effort, and thoughtful consideration to roleplay projects, such as GENSEC CL4 operations, documentation, and roleplay ideas with Class-D, like the inmate records and work permits I often do. The commitment extends past my role as Chief of Security to include the things I also do as an Ethics Assistant, and even as a DEA Senior Agent. I always strive to do good not only in documentation and roleplay creation but also in voice acting which I am quite good at. I also try with factors like character development, maintaining immersion within roleplay and my character's image across the Site and Community. As a Gamemaster, I could enhance both my own and others' roleplay experiences by helping players become more immersed and by being more technical with each roleplay interaction (i.e using items, props like chairs, sounds, and other elements). This could be one of the greatest additions to the limited set of tools I already utilize within roleplay to aid in immersion. |

Regiment & Faction Based Event Compositions | Section Four (Final)Q: List an example mission for each of the following:
Recent reports have come through from several federal agencies across the US, including the Unusual Incidents Unit division within the FBI. These reports consisted of sightings and paranormal activity across vast areas of land that had not yet been scouted by the public, as they were seized for federal purposes. This "paranormal" presence was corrected and changed to the title of anomalous presence. Another factor highlighting this is the recent major decrease in activity within Outpost-54's contained anomaly, SCP-1983. Mobile Task Force Chi-13 reported a strange process event that created another instance of SCP-1983-1's dimension. Reports suggest that this instance was last seen in Saskatchewan territory and had breached into Site-65, closing in on a maintenance closet within the core sector. To make matters even worse, Chi-13 reported that a member of the Ethics Committee had been pronounced MIA inside the dimension without any further elaboration. Omega-1 will have to assess the situation thoroughly and make use of additional containment forces if deemed necessary to ensure no one trespasses inside the now anomalous closet. Additionally, they will have to attempt to make contact with the lost Ethics member and attempt to recover them if possible."MTF Alpha-1: O5-5"Site-234 recently made a breakthrough discovery with counter-memetic and anti-cognitohazard drugs that will require humanoid testing before anything else. The interests of O5 Command were sparked after hearing that this prescription of drug compounds could reverse or even completely scramble away memetic effects in a short period of time via intramuscular administration. One of the members of the O5 Council, specifically O5-5, decided to pack his briefcase and move from Site-01 to Site-234 in hopes of seeing research expansions on this new drug formula. He was disappointed; this wasn't the case at all. Site-234's technology was far from advanced and could not proceed with advanced testing on live subjects, not even with Class-D subjects. Thus, O5-5 found it necessary to move again, this time to Site-65, to use their advanced technology and potentially converse with the RsD field there to assess experiments and verdicts regarding humanoid response to this new drug. MTF Alpha-1 will escort O5-5 with the already embedded escort upon his arrival. They will also receive a special assignment on Floor-3 involving a classified anomaly known as SCP-9818. This anomaly is not detailed and is kept at Level 5 clearance, for the eyes of the O5 only.SCP-9818 is a WIP file I once tried finishing, it is still in the works."MTF Nu-7: SCP-7428"SCP-7428 is a complex form of matter that defies all laws set by reality, gravity and materials by degrading & dissolving physics around an area. In this instance, it will appear in the snowy biomes of Pinewood, near a frozen lake. MTF Nu-7, and perhaps DEA will have to scatter out to surface and request for MTF Lambda-5 to either help with moving the anomaly into temporary containment within Site-65 or to make an attempt in moving it far away from Saskatchewan territory. If all else fails, MTF Lambda-5 will have to use undisclosed methods to contain it themselves.SCP-7428 is an SCP written by me, read it here for more context and lore: SCP-7428Reports have come through from O5 Command that SCP-303 has began manifesting all across Site-65, and has began taking position in doorways usually not visited often by Security Staff or Mobile Task Forces. Epsilon-11's goal will be to try and find SCP-303, and with the utmost of fear; try to contain or disperse it away from Site-65 as a whole, although it might get, really.. scary. Core functions of the Site will be halted by this anomaly, and it will be of high interest for MTF Epsilon-11 to quickly put an end to the Doorman."Chaos Insurgency: Dr Martin"Dr. Martin di Cuio is the assistant head IRUC specialist and medical researcher for Base Six. The doctor is immune to any and all mind-affecting anomalies that he has so far encountered. The doctor possesses an arsenal of dart guns and usually carries around a tin of berry mints everywhere he travels. The Saskatchewan terror cell has requested for Research & Development Staff who are specialised with anti-memetics and cognitohazards, and this might just be their top guy. After serving for a long time at Base Six in the United States, it was time for him to find more action, and work to do other than joint-operations and his 'personal' schemes with the CDC, he took his documents and everything else he'd find worth for; and left to visit Pinewood's Cell to study with the Chaos Insurgency, and potentially take part into a raid to seize cognitohazardous, inanimate objects within Site-65 as he had once learned they had in possesion."UNGOC: MK. VII SFD"Kjell Anthonsen is one of the lead engineers and heads of concept for the PHYSICS division. Recently, he received a letter from High Command expressing high concern regarding Kewpie activity within the Pinewood region, specifically sending regards towards the UNGOC FOB closest to Site-65, a site located within Pinewood and the only one still active within Saskatchewan territory. There have been numerous, and if not a mass amount of reports of dangerous Keter and Euclid class para-threats reaching the surface of the site and often escaping to the nearest civilization. This situation must be brought to a halt. Kjell has been sent to the Pinewood FOB and will be working with the stationed commissioned officers to engineer a set of three (3) Standard Field Dresses, also known as 'Black Suits' which he will then supply to the FOB for later use in Quick Response Forces."Foundation Staff: Maintenance Crew"It seems that SCP-294 has been overused and did not recharge within the specified 90-minute period as per protocol. Consequently, a team of external technicians has been dispatched by the Ethics Committee to investigate this and potentially resolve the issue. However, this problem can't be fixed without causing another set of problems; the technicians will have to dismantle certain assets of Foundation property to find parts, clues, and advancements to their blueprints to repair the machine and possibly replace some essential components. These technicians are not familiar with the Foundation Legal Codex, and with them causing problems under Level 5 orders, it might become a mess for Internal Affairs to intercept, not realizing they are doing this to resolve an already existing problem.
