E11 COM, GSD Captain, O1 PVT, CI-D, GOC CPL, ISD Investigator, DEA Senior, NU7 CSG
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
Yes I have over the span of the years they have racked up. Various reasons, though I only have 1 active currently.
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?:
Since arriving at the site a few weeks ago, I have dedicated myself exclusively to the Internal Security Department. I am applying for Inspector because I want to be a spark for professional reform. Rather than just identifying flaws, I want to be in a position where I can mentor our personnel, set a higher standard of conduct, and rebuild the department's reputation from the inside out. Having been encouraged to apply by several veteran ISD members, I feel now is the time to transition from an Investigator to an Inspector who can facilitate a better environment for both my fellow ISD members and the site in whole.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I have CL4 experience, and I have already conducted many RP scenarios within ISD that prove my abilities as a reliable, professional member of the department. While my tenure on this specific server is measured in weeks, my leadership experience is vast. I previously commanded E11, where I managed significantly larger numbers of personnel than are currently in ISD. This has equipped me with the "command presence" and administrative oversight necessary to effectively be an Inspector. Furthermore, I have already proven my ability to remain calm and composed during high risk, sensitive site incidents. I am quite good in deescalating emotionally fueled situatiuons where other personnel might lose their temper or composure. Simply put, I offer both strict adherence to policy and the ability to lead the staff behind it.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
An ideal Inspector functions as the bridge between ISD command and the general ISD workforce. They must be a mentor, not someone who simply sits in an office, but a leader who monitors the well being of their staff, and provides immediate guidance. Beyond the social aspect, they must be administrative. This means ensuring rosters are maintained and policies are updated to reflect the evolving needs of ISD. In the field, an Inspector must be unbiased and remain approachable to the innocent but not be scared to be a wall of authority when dealing with criminals.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
I have made numerous documents during my time in the server, ranging from standard arrest logs+incident reports in ISD to detailed testing records and interdepartmental affairs in RSD and E11. In my view, a "quality" document is defined by clarity. It shouldn't just be a wall of jumbled text but should be a precise record of events that describes the "who, what, and why" clearly so that any future reader can imagine the situation. A good document creates a paper trail that drives LARP and maintains records.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
An ISD Inspector’s main roles are:
- Ensuring all arrests and investigations follow the rules and stay professional.
- Holding daily briefings and assigning staff to high risk areas.
- Providing on the spot coaching and training to lower ranks.
- Acting as the first point of contact for other departments to resolve complaints or issues with ISD.
- Creating documents/discord orders/briefings that revolve around current LARP and maintaining personnel docs and roster.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
I carry myself with a lead by example type of philosophy in any role I hold. My background in SR CL4 means I am already comfortable with the burden of responsibility. I don’t buckle under any pressure of scrutiny or emergencies. I have a deep respect for interdepartmental diplomacy and documentation, which makes me an asset for any future policy overhauls or handbook updates.
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Slipstream originally joined the Foundation with no grand ambitions, simply looking to apply his military background to site security. Known for his down to earth demeanor, he quickly stood out in the ISD. While others were aggressive or power hungry, Slipstream was reliable... he de escalated issues with a conversation rather than force. This reputation for being "the guy who gets things done without drama" led to a steady rise through the ranks, as both ISD Command and his peers trusted his judgment.
His reliability eventually caught the eye of IPD. Seeing his talent for navigating sensitive situations, they "poached" him for specialized assignments. At first, Slipstream felt honored to handle high level affairs, but he soon realized the work was a sham. He wasn't protecting the site, he was being used for their internal politics and dirty work. Realizing he was being used as a tool for agendas he didn't believe in, Slipstream walked away from the operations. He returned his full focus to ISD, realizing that true site stability comes from transparent, fair enforcement, rather than under the table ops.
Current Storylines:
Reformer's Path:
Having seen the "dark side" of site politics, Slipstream is now dedicated to ensuring ISD remains a department of integrity. He is focused on mentoring newer operatives to ensure they don't get their moral and ethical compasses manipulated by other departments like he was.
Eye's Peeled:
Because he "knows too much" about how IPD operates, there is a lingering tension between him and his former handlers. He must balance his duties as an Inspector while keeping a close eye on those who previously tried to compromise his ethics.
