Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:

I have a vast amount of experience as a GM on Gmod having been one for multiple servers in the past most commonly for StarwarsRP going all the way from Trial GM to Head GM on a few servers, additionally I was also a GM on the server a year ago and I hosted a solid few events before realising that I had too much stuff going on both in and out of the server and simply could not dedicate my time to doing as many events as I used too and I eventually decided to resign.

Throughout my experience as a GM I have developed my abilities and skills to host events and use all the tools at my disposal in order to facilitate my events. The biggest thing I have been able to develop is my ability to create a story for players to participate in with emphasis on player interactivity where the story would be moulded by the very players who were participating in them, based on the actions and decisions they take.

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:

Admittedly it has been a while since I was a GM on any server and haven't touch the tools in a bit but I'm confident in my ability to create Dupes and utilise PAC-3 for events, additionally throughout this last year I have been creating my own custom images to use for things such as logos and for use in videos that I have been developing most noticeably for a CI promo video that I have currently in the works.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:

New Disposable Class:

Site-65 would receive confirmation that a new batch of D-class recently transferred from a prison is en-route to the site and that they should be ready to receive the D-class and run them through their enrolment into the foundation, including things like briefing on their job as a D-class, changing into the D-class uniform, creation of files for these D-class and their first introduction to an SCP.

This would allow for SOP, GSD and Research to participate in this enhancement as the D-class slowly get transferred and handed around to each department for the next step of their introduction to Site-65.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
Chaos Insurgency. Recruitment Drive

CI require a fresh set of recruits in order to maintain numbers in Sierra-7, the cell would go on a "recruitment campaign" so to say in which they find people willing to join the PDF or would be a good fit for CI and take them to join. Throughout their induction to the Chaos Insurgency the recruits would be brainwashed to be loyal to the insurgency and eventually given their equipment and sent out to fight the foundation.

For this I can set up a recruitment stand which CI would man and begin handing out recruitment flyers and doing Q&As with people who show interest in the PDF, then when they join I can use the gmswep and a few other tools like sound effects for the brainwashing to the CI and then of course giving them their uniform and equipment.

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Asset Termination:

The GOC of pinewood receive word of a containment breach of a nearby foundation facility that has resulted in a number of SCPs escaping into the wild, one of these SCPs however is actively being tracked and it is towards a small town within the region. The GOC mobilise to the town, being one of the nearest groups around, in order to protect the town from the anomaly and take the opportunity to destroy it before foundation personnel turn up to re-contain the SCP. The SCP the GOC encounter would be SCP 9909 a custom anomaly that they have no intelligence on, the GOC would quickly realise that gunfire would only slow down the anomaly but not halt it or show any signs of causing harm to it, as such it would be up to the GOC to determine how the SCP's abilities operate in order to find a way to kill it whilst trying to keep the towns population from harm.

This would require a dupe and pac3 to assist in enhancing the details but the rundown of the town would be a small area with only a handful of buildings with interiors that can be entered, the outside of the town will have been blocked off by the anomaly to prevent anyone from escaping. The town will have several places in which GOC and towns people can hide from the anomaly but as time passes on the anomaly will begin to destroy the town and remove the hiding spots from play, however each building will be set up for the anomaly to interact with it in a different way, this is to help the GOC identify how the anomaly operates by giving clues to its abilities.

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
Home away from home:

During a massive movement from Sierra-7 additional space is required to house resources they are stealing and to act as a backup base if their primary base is compromised, as such one potential location has been found an old unfinished outpost near the mountains north of pinewood formerly owned by the GOC but decommissioned months ago with most personnel and assets transferred off of the base leaving behind nothing more than a rag-tag security squadron to guard the base before it's destruction. CI would strike and take out the security forces and begin setting up the base to be their new storage facility and secondary base.

Would require a dupe but I have an old GOC base that I can use which would work nicely for this scenario and it would not require much work to set up, the main pressure would be on CI to make sure the defence force don't get a message out to the GOC that they are under attack. This would then be used later for RP and further events.

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
The Impossible:

A call goes out on the radio reporting in that a member of Site Administration has been murdered in their office, a variety of personnel gather and ISD begin their investigation eventually determining that the site advisor had been killed by an unknown assailant but as the investigation furthers and more pieces of the puzzle begin to be found the more and more they review the evidence the more they realise that the crime itself would of been completely impossible to carry out and that some other power must be at play here. A crime nobody could of committed. Eventually the culprit would reveal themself as an anomalous entity that is here to rain chaos on Site-65 and it is up to the players to find a way to stop them before it's too late.

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
Map Change. Loss of Contact:

Out in the arctic lies a secret facility created by the foundation used as a black site for joint Ethics and O5 activity, however during a meeting between O5-12 and a few members of the committee foundation command loses communications with the facility for several hours as such Alpha-1 and Omega-1 and dispatched together in a joint operation to discover what is going on at the facility.

Upon arrival at the facility they notice the place is as silent as a graveyard and that the it seems the facility is running on only emergency power, as they sweep through the base clearing it out one by one they begin to find logs and recordings, hints of what might of happened at the facility eventually they will get near a door and begin hearing noises, the sound of chewing and as they approach the entrance to the room with the noises they open the door and notice something scuttle away faster than they can keep up with it. As they go further in the room they find what the thing was eating, O5-12s body. At some point they will begin restoring power to the facility and when they managed to get some primary systems on an automatic quarantine lockdown activates sealing the facility shut with no means of escape and the sound of distant roaring can be heard throughout the facility as well as the scuttering of feat.

At this point the A-1 and O-1 have two objects here to discover what caused all this to happen and more importantly to get out alive, they must find a way to deactivate the lockdown whilst avoiding/fighting the still unidentified creatures that are now roaming the facility. This would be a one life event, if you die you die for good and will instead join the ranks of the monster horde to fight. This would require the assistance of other GMs in order to set things ups, run the narrative and story points as things progress and of course to play the initial monsters.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.
  • Player interactivity, an event should give the player a feeling that their actions have an impact upon the event itself if it feels like the player is not actively impacting the event then it will ruin their immersion and enjoyment of the event itself.
  • Originality, it is very difficult to be truly original considering how old the server is and how much media exist today but the player should feel that each event is unique in it's own way and has it's own identity if the players feels like they are currently going through an event that is no different to an event they went through previously then it will be less impactful on the player.
  • Storytelling, while not in the traditional sense a lot of events will require you in essence to tell a story, to convey something to the player for them to learn about and use information in the event, if you can not properly communicate this information to players on a well thought out way than the entire event falls to shambles.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?

I wish to become a GM because I enjoy making events for people to play in and to get the chance to hone my craft once again, but the bigger reason is because as a GM previously I was doing a lot of RP enhancements which I think added to RP a lot and as of recent I keep bumping into situations in which a slight bit of GM intervention could make things gold but then I remember I'm not a GM anymore and it keep gnawing at the back of my head how I could improve things even just slightly if I was a GM again.

Finally I want to become a GM again because I've been trying my dam hardest to push CI towards being more RP focused and I believe some GM intervention could greatly help in that endeavour, this doesn't mean I'm only going to be doing events for CI, I'll be doing events for everyone, but I believe there is a great amount of disregard towards CI due to the vast majority of players both in and out of CI believing the faction can't RP and as such CI a lot of the times can feel very neglected and I'd like to help change that as a GM.
