Denied UNGOC - Thaumatologist Changes

What does this suggestion change/add/remove.
ADD
UN Vehicle Keys
UNGOC Thaumatologist from Research to Combative against KTE's only.
UNGOC Thaumatologist HP increase.


Possible Positives of the suggestion.
Currently Foundation have been having many SCP's breaches to the surface partially TYPE-GREEN's with SCP body guards make it very difficult. We don't have any way of stopping this without dying several times, our bombs get eaten by TYPE-GREEN too with inversion. I feel like we are almost forced to use a UNGOC Thaumatologist as we don't get insta head popped because the TYPE-GREEN's can't target it. It makes it a lot easier to defeat the TYPE-GREEN when they are on surface or when we are helping Foundation.

Main positives of this change is we won't get in trouble for using UNGOC Thaumatologist to defend surface against 2-4 SCPS everyday.


The UNGOC Thaumatologist also can't enter vehicles as they don't have keys to it unlike the other UNGOC roles.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
No Negatives.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: UNGOC need to be able to use our Thaumatologist in ways other then Research as we can't be dealing with 2-4 SCPS everyday coming on to surface. I have clips of these SCP's on surface everyday that I can provide if needed because it is very hard to deal with and ERT are forced to go onto surface which shouldn't make sense.

UNGOC Thaumatologist - a medium-level reality bender, focused on preventing dangerous KTE's - Not combative only to SCPS

bruh you are a ci and you get type blue to fight scps and foundation with more hp and energy; Just so you can weaponize it and cause even more nukes.

bruh you are a ci and you get type blue to fight scps and foundation with more hp and energy; Just so you can weaponize it and cause even more nukes.
we get 1 type blue slot every 2 hours and 30 minutes plus the type blue we get can only be used by Non commisioned officers not even includinig its high levels

goc have unlimited and dont have to wait a 2 hour cooldown unlike CI the CI TYPE blue is a specifically combative personal with being found at infancy by the insurgency and grew up with Cis belief plus CI is a entirely combative faction unlike goc whihc use thamatology for research unlike CI the UNGOC reality bender was added for rp and RP alone

CI type blue is to help give ci that occasional buff its needs to push firing lines and support CI in raids and surface combat teh type blue has limited power and can easily be overwhelmed and once its dead spawning with 250 HP max of 500 thats another 2 hour wait until a slot opens up

also as a ci main myself we specifically avoid using type blues when surface scps / scps on surface are around incase 682 kills our reality bender and we reserve them exclusively for raids

We fight SCPS everyday, yes we are less combative then you but there is nothing to RP research on Thaumatologist when we can research TYPE-GREENs that get on surface.

Technically we don’t fight SCPs everyday, we fighting them when we wanted to so I don’t think this change is necessary but GOC does need some more counter measures for benders. Also who is foolish enough to drops bomb on type greens? That waste of money. Just let type greens kill raids of CI. We can shelter civs in the embassy.

The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

The UNGOC Thaumatologist job is primarily focused on research, it is allowed to enter combat in rare situations such as an opposing force also using a Thauamatologist in combat but the main focus of the job is to provide GOC with access to Thaumaturgy related research and as such will not be changed into a combative role.

As for not having keys we will look into this as it may of been an oversight when the job was added.
