Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?
-Director of Medicine Luigi suggested I should and expressed interest in my initiative.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
-I have a strong interest in forwarding the development of the medical RP and (hopefully) systems in place to make medical RP more engaging, organized, and professional. I also have experience in SCiPNET and my first uploaded document (First Time Visit Format) has already been approved and published into the system.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
-I will explain the procedure for treating a fractured left leg on a security staff that has just hobbled into the waiting room.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
-Be an example to and for the medical wing.
-Carry out the will of the Medical Director.
-Ensure all medical personnel maintain an acceptable level of professionalism.
-Proofread documents written by medical personnel before they are uploaded.
-An extension of the Director of Medicine's authority.
Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Louis (lew-e) Backwater came from a deep Southern town of Louisiana - somewhere near New Orleans as far as he remembers. He grew up watching those around him injure themselves and often they brushed it off and not get it treated. Every time, without fail, minor cuts, bruises, splinters, etc., became major problems that required them rushed to the hospital. This constant neglect of medical attention drove him into a fascination for the subject. As he learnt more, he gained an interest in the behavioral therapy field as well and decided to focus on paperwork and emergency first-aid just a tad more than in-depth surgeries and internal treatments. Despite his preference, he still went the mile to certify himself in various medical procedures to keep his toolbelt as varied as possible.

- Ask the patient what is bothering them. (They say that they are walking slow and cannot run, indicating a fractured leg)
- Bring the patient further into medbay and lay them on a scanner to find which leg is fractured. (The screen indicates its the left leg)
- Prepare the left leg medicine using calcium. (left leg)
- Apply the medicine to the corresponding limb. (have the patient ingest it)
- Use the first aid kit to patch up any further injuries and escort them out of the medical wing.
