Why are you applying for the Director of Medicine?
-I am applying because I want to be the Director of Medicine. I want to lead the Medical Department and help shape it into something more. I don’t intend on reinventing the wheel but I certainly believe I have the leadership skills and the know how to lead right. I know the ins and outs of the MD like the back of my hand and I truly love it. Working here makes me incredibly happy and being able to lead the department is something I have envisioned for a long time.
I hope to lead with courage and honor in the footsteps of the previous DoM. I look forward to this opportunity and will ensure Professionalism at all times.
What makes you suitable for Director of Medicine?:
- I have a keen can-do attitude, I am kind and caring when needed, but I am not afraid to put my foot down when needed. I treat others with respect when they do the same to me. As Director of Medicine I believe these are qualities that are necessary. I have worked in the Medical Department for 8 months now and have learned more than enough to consider myself qualified for the job. I have been a consultant for about a month and I have also spent a significant amount of time in G1 as a combat medic.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Medicine in RP?:
-The responsibilities for DoM would be overseeing the MD as a whole. Making changes to tests and handbooks as needed. Making sure consultants are actively engaged in projects and procedures that will actively help the MD. Ensuring Medical standards are up to code and the staff are remaining professional. Other responsibilities would include External Department relations and ensuring other departments are receiving the care and attention they need. As well as carrying out any possible orders from Site Administration and making any changes needed.
Please give some lore about your Director of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
After project [Redacted] Consultant Jones was searching for a new project to bring in potential revenue for the Medical Department. If only he could have known what chemical project he was truly funding. A medical trial gone wrong and a chemical that had an addictive nature. Project [Redacted] would be one that would haunt him for the rest of his career. Douglas had to be given amnestics to not live with the guilt of what happened to the E11 who volunteered for the project. After the incident Douglas has been assigned to work on a different project and work towards standard medical cures.
(TLDR): I do a lot of chemical related stuff and would continue to do so as Director. Thank you for your time and Consideration.
