Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Dr. Alexander Thorn was a Senior Researcher with the SCP Foundation, specializing in the fields of microbiology and immunology. He had always been interested in the study of infectious diseases and epidemics and had spent countless hours studying various pathogens and developing treatments and vaccines for them.
Thorn was recruited by the Foundation straight out of graduate school and quickly rose through the ranks due to his exceptional intellect and hard work. He was assigned to the Biological Containment Division, where he worked alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the field of biological research.
Despite his success, Thorn had always been a bit of a loner. He was reserved and introverted and preferred to keep to himself rather than socialize with his colleagues. This had earned him a reputation as an aloof and intimidating figure, but those who knew him well understood that he was simply focused and dedicated to his work.
Thorn's work often took him to some of the most dangerous and remote parts of the world, where he would work tirelessly to contain outbreaks of various infectious diseases. He had been exposed to some of the most deadly pathogens in the world and had narrowly avoided death on several occasions. But despite the risks, he continued to push himself to the limit in pursuit of his research.
However, Thorn's demanding schedule and frequent travels took a toll on his personal life. He had a strained relationship with his wife and children, who resented his absence and his tendency to prioritize his work over his family. This was a source of great pain and regret for Thorn, who often found solace in his work when his personal life became overwhelming.
Thorn's contributions to the Foundation were immeasurable. He had developed several groundbreaking treatments and containment procedures for some of the most dangerous pathogens in the world and had helped contain outbreaks that would have otherwise become global pandemics. He was a brilliant and dedicated researcher, and his colleagues respected him for his contributions and his commitment to the Foundation's mission.
Despite his successes, Thorn remained a solitary figure. He was content to devote his life to his work, and had little interest in forming close relationships with others. But his legacy lived on, and his contributions to the Foundation would be remembered for generations to come.
