Security checkpoint
Adding a checkpoint near the stairs to inanimate to serve as a place for ISD to check people's IDs and look for wanted personnel, this could also act as an extra layer of security against hostile GOI's. The checkpoint would include a booth that someone can stand at to speak to the incoming people, as well as a small barricade for security personnel to stand behind as people walk through the checkpoint

A new business has been constructed near Pinewood. Residents may go to this new business and see that it is a new restaurant that has settled down for a short while. Residents may apply for a job at this vendor and work in positions such as a cashier, waiter, or cook. These positions allow them to earn a little money on the side for working and serving the surrounding community, or whoever decides to show up

A meteor has landed in Pinewood, and it appears to have been carrying something inside, but by the time anyone gets over to it, it's gone. Sneaking around Pinewood, a small creature hides from sight. While looking for whatever came out of the meator, the creature manages to sneak into the nearby GOC fob. Once inside, the creature is hungry, so it starts looking around for any food in the kitchen area. Causing a loud noise, the creature draws the attention of the GOC personnel in the FOB. As they go to investigate the noise, there is nothing there but some pots and pans thrown on the ground. A few moments later, more noises are heard coming from one of the other rooms as they open the door, and a small furry creature runs out. The GOC members begin trying to capture the creature, but it proves to fast and gets away. Following the footprints that it made leads them to the chef's house in Pinewood, where the thing is seen looking for food again. Realizing that the creature is looking for food, they try to bait it into a containment chamber using food. Eventually capturing it and now may conduct studies on it

One quiet night, the CI command office phone jumps to life. A CI officer walks over to the phone and sees an unfamiliar number. Picking up the phone, he hears a deep voice with a russian accent. The man is saying he is a part of a group called GRU Division "P". The man also states that they are looking for some hired help in the area and heard about the local CI cell. He is asking for one simple task, something that CI has managed to do plenty of times: steal an SCP. But this one is different. A new SCP would be arriving through the train system in the HCZ of Site 65. GRU has intel that the train will be arriving between 18:30 and 18:45. The man says, "If you can manage to recover this SCP for us, we will pay you a large amount of money and may be available to lend a hand in future operations." The CI officer agrees to help the GRU. (GRU) "Good, I will send a few of my men to accompany you on the mission and to retrieve the SCP once it is completed. " *The phone call drops*. Roughly 30 minutes before the estimated arrival of the train, a group of Division "P" operatives shows up at the front of the CI base. Once inside, the operatives brief the CI personnel on the plan for how to recover the SCP and what to do once they acquire it. The Division "P" operatives and the CI head out on the mission, making their way down into HCZ, but not before being spotted. MTF teams scramble to intercept the Chaos and GRU forces, but the invaders are entrenched. A firefight breaks out for control of the train depot. The train finally arrives, Division "P" operatives grab the SCP, and the whole force starts fighting their way out of the facility. The GRU team gets split up from the CI team after a while passes, and the GRU operatives manage to find their own way out through the ventilation and return to the CI base with the SCP. CI is then paid by the GRU members, and they then leave with the SCP. (15 Min later) The phone to the Command office rings again. They pick it up to hear that same raspy voice from earlier. "Thank you for helping us in our mission. We will be in your debt. Until next time, comrades." *The phone hangs up*

A sealed package was discovered at Site-65’s main gate. The exterior bore the insignia of Anderson Robotics. The object was transferred to a secure containment chamber by MTF Nu-7 (“Hammer Down”) personnel for inspection. Once inside, they open the package. Inside stands a 6-foot human-shaped robot with the Anderson Robotics logo on the side of its head. In its hand is a user manual. The user manual contains a list of actions the Robot can perform and instructions on how to power it on. Upon activation, SCP-XXXX emitted a blue facial illumination consistent with its ‘normal operation’ indicator. Someone gives it a command. The robot promptly follows the command. Everything is going fine at first, the robot is listening to the commands given by personnel, and following them with precision, but then the robot's face turns yellow. The robot seems to still be listening to commands, but with a slight delay and only half following them. Referring back to the manual, they read that yellow means a possible error has occurred in the programming. While trying to find a way to reset the robot, SCP-XXXX exhibited agitation when personnel attempted corrective procedures, verbally denying any malfunction. Every time someone attempted to follow the instructions to reset the robot, SCP-XXXX displayed escalating aggression correlating with continued interference attempts. Resorting to non-lethal violence to stop personnel from attempting to "fix him". Following repeated reset attempts, SCP-XXXX’s facial illumination transitioned to red. The entity began employing lethal force, initially targeting maintenance personnel and subsequently engaging all nearby individuals. Security Command authorized termination. During the engagement, SCP-XXXX fatally assaulted one guard and utilized the guard’s weapon against additional staff before being neutralized by responding units. Not long after the robot was terminated, a representative from Anderson robotics drove up the front of the foundation and was asking some questions about a robot of theirs that was accidentally shipped to the wrong address, and the tracker was showing up here. The foundation brought him in for questioning, but unfortunately, the interrogation and anything past this point have been [Redacted]

Moldy Bread
On ██/██/20██, a shipment of food supplies arrived in Pinewood. Unbeknownst to local staff, part of the shipment had been contaminated with SCP-020. SCP INFO (SCP-020 is a fast-spreading fungal organism that is capable of affecting the senses and behavior of living creatures, including humans. Samples of SCP-020 exhibit an unknown effect that renders them effectively invisible to direct observation, even when under a microscope. SCP-020 is only visible to humans when viewed through photographic or video surveillance. Once SCP-020 forms a colony, usually within a human residence, it will produce spores that affect the behavior of humans around it. Affected subjects will increase the heat and humidity within their homes to create an environment more suitable for the growth of SCP-020. Affected subjects also become more sociable in many cases, and often invite acquaintances to their homes to further spread the organism. As the spores and mold colonies are invisible to affected subjects, the mold may sometimes grow directly on living subjects.) The food is then offloaded into the restaurant located in Pinewood. Once inside, SCP-020 begins spreading around. The chef walks over and starts organizing all of the new food. In the process, he unknowingly infects himself with SCP-020. While organizing the shipment, the chef unknowingly infected himself with SCP-020. Soon after, he began adjusting the restaurant’s environment to favor fungal growth — raising humidity, dimming lights, and even announcing “90% off all food” to draw in more customers. Personnel from nearby Site-65, a UNGOC forward base, and a Chaos Insurgency bunker visited the restaurant to take advantage of the unusually low prices, lining up to claim their food, not knowing that by eating this food, they themselves would become infected by SCP-020. Infected personnel begin spreading it back to their base, causing mass infection and taking over the surrounding areas rapidly. Site-65 surveillance staff identified anomalous mold activity via remote camera feeds and reported the breach. Source tracing identified the Pinewood restaurant as Ground Zero. A regional alert was issued to all nearby GOIs. MTF Beta-7 (“Maz Hatters”) was deployed to establish a quarantine perimeter and decontamination checkpoint on the plains outside Pinewood. The team coordinated with nearby GOIs to assist with containment protocols. Once Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters") arrived, they informed the surrounding GOI's of the proper procedure to contain SCP-020 while running a decontamination checkpoint located in the planes next to Pinewood. Following joint coordination between the Foundation, GOC, and CI representatives, all known SCP-020 growths were neutralized. Investigators traced the infection’s origin to a supply market in a neighboring town. MTF Beta-7 conducted sterilization operations at the location, recovering multiple SCP-020 spores embedded in produce crates. The operation concluded after confirmation of total eradication. Affected civilians and personnel are currently under observation for residual SCP-020 influence.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.
There are a few ways events can be unenjoyable, from scps not related to the event messing with the event, lack of interaction, slow/exaggerated plot/storyline, poor coordination of involved people/lack of an objective, and locking the event to a certain clearance level
Lack of interaction can be explained when the player base is aware of the event, but not many people participate in the event becasue they dont find it interesting. This can sometimes ruin the experience for people participating in the event, becasue it is meant for a larger number of people
slow/exaggerated plot/storyline happens when the event takes a very long time, and players lose interest in the event becasue it is taking a long amount of time and is not well-paced
poor coordination of involved people/lack of an objective. Poor coordination between the event team and players to not understand what is going on in the event or what they are meant to be doing, and this can cause confusion and make the event less fun
Locking the event to a certain clearance level is generally not fun for the majority of players becasue that means that not everyone gets to participate in the event, while it may be necessary for some events, most should try to avoid doing this
And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
One thing I want to achieve as a gamemaster is making quality events that people can enjoy that are as close to lore-accurate as I can be, while still keeping the fun aspect of events
Another thing I wish to achieve by becoming a game master is to give events that encourage players to participate and keep people coming back to the server because they never know what kinda of crazy event may be happening next
I want to inspire others to build great things and think of interesting ideas, like how I was inspired to make an application to become a game master because of an amazing event I was lucky to be a part of
My final goal I wish to achieve is, let people have fun. I know that the server can be very serious at times, but by creating wacky and strange events, it allows people to have a short break from the serious side of things. But obviously, I want to provide a quality and immersive RP experience at the same time
