Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?: As explained in the previous application, the main reason for my resignation was drama that I wanted no part in, with all that having nearly been a year ago and the new consultant team being MUCH better and way more welcoming, I now feel way more welcomed in the department. Now summer has just started and I have plenty of free time to be on server and roleplay. Medical roleplay is extremely fun and while Sr. Doctor has plenty of it, I'd like to do more which consultant has plenty of. I'm not sure what else I could add here, medical is fun, the consultant team makes it even more fun.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?: As a captain and ex chief I have plenty of leadership experience to handle jr personnel, comfortably host tryouts, and hand out punishments when necessary. I've spent quite a bit of time in the Medical Department which allows me to comfortably diagnose diseases quickly, I've also been somewhat proficient in pharmacy having restocked our chem fridge a few times. In the past I was closely involved in Project RUOK, evaluating several SCPs, and I've recently picked up physical evaluations for SCPs again in recent times. I would also say I've been pretty dedicated to the Medical Department as I have been with Security, consistently checking our stock, doing my best to be active, and doing my best to help site staff at all times.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice: Surgery is a very RP heavy procedure in Medical, consisting almost entirely of /me and /it actions along with rolls. Each surgery is usually very different from one another as not everyone has the same reasons for surgery. In order to begin with surgery you must take the patient to the surgical bay and assuming that they're willing you explain the procedure and have them sedated with chemicals (sometimes its a simple procedure and you just need to numb the area). There are a variety of surgical tools at your disposal that you'll have to act out with actions including them usually requiring a /roll 100. The lower the roll the worse you perform that action with the higher it is the more successful. If all goes well with the patient and they haven't died you'll be able to wake up the patient and take them to the recovery bay.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?: Conducting Medical License and Combat Medic tryouts, ensuring the physical and mental wellbeing of site staff, watching over the jr members of the Medical Department and guiding them, enact punishments to such members if needed, ensure compliance with the CoE and CoC.
