Why are you applying for Director of Internal Affairs?
-The Reason I want to apply for Director of Internal Affairs is because after being in IA for a long time I want to see it thrive and become better than it already is, The department's reputation is already getting better and I believe I have ideas and ways to keep it that way. I firmly believe Department Director is a step up to achieve these goals.
What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Affairs?:
-The way i feel that i am suitable for Dpt. Director of internal affairs is that I am usually very active on the Ambassador Role and Supervise agents on a day to day basis correcting them when they aren't following procedures and striking/job baning when necessary, I have also graded documents and written Documents ranging from Investigations to Reports. During my time as Ambassador I have taught agents how to write and present a excellent Arrest reports and how to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, For a time I was the lead Investigator for the department and because of this I had to Assign Agents on various parts of the investigation. On top of this I am very good with the legal codex, Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct and use this knowledge to the best of my ability.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Affairs in RP?:
-The Responsibilities of the Department Director are very close to that of a normal Ambassador For example they Train Agents before and after they have passed the test, Deal with any complaints risen to them from different departments on agents or ambassadors and they do this with utmost professionalism and standards. Ontop of all this they also deal with new Ambassador Applications with either accepting them or denying them based on the opinion on Ambassador's and the Dpt. Director themselves. They can also set up Investigations, Hold Tribunals (as long as they follow the rules of a tribunal). They also deal with documentation and the roster of Ambassador's dealing with LOA/ROA requests and low activity from ambassadors.
Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Affairs character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Marcus Takafuji has had a rather hectic life, starting his career in the foundation as a lowly D-Class personel and gaining a Good Reputation with the foundation. He was originally rather close to the Gensec Department, helping them out whenever he could. This eventually led up to where he aided in stopping a Riot by Snitching on a fellow D-Class, Who happened to be the ring leader and a type Blue. This caught the Eye of the Gensec Captains and the Chief, and he was allowed to join the Department as a cadet. Over time, he rose through the ranks of the department, earning His RRT licence and becoming a RRT Sergeant. During a Rather bad day, a Test with SCP-939 was occurring. Gensec at this time had few Gensec to spare, so he was forced to be an escort. during this, a D-class attempted to free a Instance of SCP-939, to which Marcus was forced to kill the D-class, ending the attempted breach before it could be completed. this Gained the eye of the cheifs who with time granted him the position of captain, To which he acclimated quickly and became a SR captain, overseeing much of the department himself.
Overtime However, the Mental Strain of Being a captain began to wear on him, and he sought to become something different, something new, a new branch, so to speak. During his time in the Gensec department, he saw Agents of different kinds, ranging from operatives all the way through to ambassadors. He often thought during this time what it would be like to be in Internal affairs; this thought alone dominated his mind. While he was a captain, he grew tired of seeing the D-class riots, fights, and deaths and longed for more. So one day, he attended a IA lecture held by the Department leader at the time a new sense of wonder came over him, and soon enough, he applied for the job and became an operative.
The time in IA was a rough one for Marcus. The shift from being a captain to now being in IA was a struggle. He frequently found it difficult to uphold the legal codex with the department he once called home and other departments. Didn't really listen to him, causing him to get frustrated with the foundations departments bringing it up to ambassadors. In the end, he saw a new light with the Different departments, realising what he could do if he truly upheld the Legal Codex. gaining a new confidence in himself, he soon rose up the ranks of IA, writing bigger and better documents and gaining more respect in his department. as a result, eventually he was brought into the Ambassadors office after one fateful day, bringing a Cl4 to justice after making multiple violations of the legal codex, When he walked inside the Ambassadors office, he was greated by the Ambassador team and the Department heads who promoted him and showed him how to be an ambassador. for a time, he had to shadow under Ambassador Crossfire, who he grew to gain great respect for.
During his time as ambassador, he showed his capabilites and performed them to his fullest, working alongside other ambassadors and growing close to them, including the DPT Directors. However, he once again longed to make the department he was in better and prove to others his past as a D-class was long gone and that he was a true benefit to the department he was in.
