For how long have you played on CG SCP: 3-4 years?

Character name(s): 'Salem'
Civilian name: TenTen
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA):
Do you have a mic?: yes
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: A-1 COM, Overseer assistant, Ethics Assistant, O-1 CPT
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: had a warn for mixing back in 2022
-
What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?: Reason why I think I am the best candidate for ethics assistant is because as the role I hold now which is O-1 CPT I have pretty good knowledge of the CoE and CoC. With that also being said I want to involve myself in non-combative RP and connect myself more with the community. I also want to learn more from each department and I want to get good at documenting. I also have experience overseeing certain departments in my time as a overseer assistant.
-
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?: The responsibilities are to enforce ethics and oversee and making each department are following CoE. Following orders directly from the Ethics Committee and relaying and information that may be important for the committee to know.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

FILE DESIGNATION: A-1-EC/ Transition-LOG-7712
CLEARANCE LEVEL: 4/ETHICS
STATUS: PATRIALLY DECLASSIFIED

Subject: Personnel Transfer- MTF ALPHA-1 ("Red Right Hand") to Ethics Committee

Name: Commander Danny "TenTen"
Former Assignment: Mobile Task Force Alpha-1
Current Assignment: Ethics Committee Assistant

Background Summary:

Commander Danny "TenTen" served 14 years within Alpha-1, operating exclusively under direct orders of the ██ Council. His operational record is no-sterile, with no insubordination, no mission failure, and no documented hesitation in executing termination-class directives.

Alpha-1 operatives are selected for absolute loyalty. They are not expected to question. TenTen did.

Catalyst Incident- OPERATION: GLASS VIEL:

During containment breach scenario GLV-09; TenTen's unit was deployed to neutralize a Cognitohazard affecting site-77 civilian staff. Standard protocol required full amnestic purge and termination of all exposed individuals.

TenTen delayed the execution by 4 minutes, transmitting a request for alternative containment. This was... unprecedented.

His reasoning:
"Containment was achievable without total loss of life. We defaulted to erasure because it was easier, not necessary."
Despite refusal orders, TenTen's team improvised a containment perimeter using memetic dampeners. Civilian causalities dropped by 63%.

The operation succeeded.
The deviation did not go unnoticed.

Review by the Ethics Committee

Rather than disciplinary action, TenTen was detained for evaluation. Internal transcripts show a pattern:
Repeated questioning of "acceptable loss thresholds."
Objections to O5-level black directives
Psychological profile: stable, but morally persistent

One Ethics Committee observer noted:
"Alpha-1 produces perfect soldiers. TenTen is something else-A soldier who remembers why humanity matters."

Transfer Decision
The Ethics Committee issued a rare internal requisition:
"We require individuals who have seen the worst decisions carried out flawlessly."

TenTen was reassigned, not as punishment, but as an asset.

Alpha-1 does not lose members.
This was the first recorded exception.

Post Transfer Notes:
TenTen maintains Level 4 access and partial operational authority.
Frequently acts as liaison between the Ethics Committee and MTF command structures.
Has vetoed 3 termination-class proposals since appointment.
Has approved 11 others.

He is lenient.
He is precise.

Addendum: O5 Commentary

"We built Alpha-1 to protect us now one of them sits across the table deciding if we deserve it"

Current Assessment:
Commander TenTen represents a structural anomaly with foundation Hierarchy:
A man trained to obey now tasked with judgment
A weapon turned into a conscience
A Reminder that containment is not the only objective

FINAL NOTE:
The Ethics Committee does not oppose the SCP Foundation. It ensures the Foundation remains something worth defending.

TenTen ensures they remember that.

TRANSFER AUTHORIZATION: READ ALOUD

"Commander TenTen is hereby reassigned from MTF Alpha-1 to the Ethics Committee under provisional oversight. Effective immediately. All prior operational authority is revoked."

A final line:

"You are no longer the hand that executes."

Another voice finishes it:

"You are now the voice that questions."
TenTen removes his alpha-1 insignia placing it on the table.

No ceremony. No salute.

Just weight.

As he turns and leaves, one of the figures speaks one last time:

"TenTen"
He stops.
"If you do your job correctly... Alpha-1 will never notice you were here."
A pause.
"And if you fail..."

TenTen nods.

"They won't hesitate.
