What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
My history and experience as an Intelligence Agent, Ambassador, and Deputy Dpt. Head, has given me ample time to discover the inner workings of how the server and its community work. This knowledge I have I believe would allow me to work well with the Overseer's and their MTF Unit in carrying out the orders/responsibilities of my job to the best possible results imaginable. I also believe that my skills in writing documents is also a major benefit to myself as a candidate, as I can write well formatted and worded reports on most situations, with my best being a GOI Document written as the Deputy Dpt. Head of Intelligence.
For these reasons and many more, I believe myself to be an excellent candidate as an Overseers Assistant, allowing for the Overseers to have a presence in the Foundation during "Quiet Hours" due to the time zone differences, allowing for their will and orders to be carried out at all times of the day and night.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
The responsibilities of an Overseer Assistant is to carryout tasks given to them by the Foundation Overseers. Jobs given can vary in task and size, from simply taking notes on a subject or meeting, to assisting in the holding of major conferences between the Overseers, Ethics, and even GOIs.
There is no specific definition or jobs I like to see, but rather that of someone whose job is to, as the name implies, assist the Overseers in any and everyway possible to promote efficiency throughout the Foundation, and allow for the Overseers to work on things more demanding of their time.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Doofster "The Addicted" Runner has done all the Foundation can offer so far. Originating from Australia, serving as a Cryptology Officer in the RAN (Royal Australian Navy), he worked on numerous Intelligence operations, however his choices and actions eventually led to a decision that caused large death tolls of a civilian town in the attempts to flush out a High Value Target which his intel incorrectly stated was there. Due to Doofsters crimes, he went on the run, being wanted for Crimes Against Humanity and the use of White Phosphorus against unarmed targets, he went underground, starting a weapons smuggling ring with his two brothers, Alexander and Muhammad.
After some success, Doofster was caught in a Australian Federal Police sting, and sent to a UN War Tribunal for his crimes, eventually being sentenced to death. While on death row, Doofster was offered an option however, serve as D-Class Personal for a secret group of people, or rot in jail. This was Doofsters first encounter with the SCP Foundation.
After serving as D-Class personal, Doofster was taken in by the Department of Intelligence, after successfully talking down SCP-049 during a breach that took place near D-Block. His silver tongue worked well for the department, as his abilities in Misinformation Campaigns, and successful planning and execution of Operation: Trainee, allowed Doofster to quickly climb the ranks to Deputy Dpt. Head under Marley.
Recently however, Doofster has seen that there is more he can do, and after taking part in a Summit between the Foundations Overseers, Ethics Board, and GOI the Chaos Insurgency over the issues of POW rights, he believed himself perfect to assist the Overseers, in the hopes to allow for a more streamlined and productive facility with Overseers actions and voice, being available at every time of the day.
While still wishing to continue his work in the Intelligence Department, Doofster still believes he can be the eyes and voice for the Overseers in the hours that they are not available, allowing for their influence and will over the Foundation to continue, even if they or their MTF, are not there to do it themselves.
