What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
- I am applying for ECM because I have a long history of command experience, and after experiencing other sides of the site, I want to return to my days of creating RP instead of doing mostly paperwork and being stuck behind some walls when it comes to RP projects and specific departments, busy work, and whatnot. I want to be able to focus on RP creation alone and solely alone. I understand the paperwork side of things is important, but I think the RP or LARP side of things is the most important and fun at the end of the day.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
- I have a ton of experience in leadership and CL.5 positions. Through that experience, I have learned how to properly RP as a CL.5. I know what it takes to run a department, deal with relations, and I am an expert in creating RP, and I overall enjoy larping.
Through my years of torture on this server, I have learned that with positions like this you need to be good at handling a lot of responsibility, but also knowing when not to step in. As an ECM, your job isn’t to lead the site; it’s to be a leader in RP.
I also really enjoy getting in character to RP with people and create storylines using different departments that eventually come to together for something bigger kind of like more serious RP that happens in the background.
Lastly, I overall enjoy the things that come with being a command member, even if that sometimes is dealing with stupid shit. It can be fun sometimes. I don’t know why I enjoy it, but I do, so I think as a candidate I am the most fit for my experience, RP ability, and my enjoyment of everything that comes with the position.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
-Manage ISD
- Appointing new DoIS
- Make Changes to the COE
- Uphold the COE Throughout Site, meaning Departments
- Prosecute CoE offenders
- Give out permits
- Make sure O5 and A-1 are following the COE
- Uphold the legal codex
- Give O1 Orders and task to complete
- Give Assistance Tasks For Info Gathering
- AA Authorization
- Work with O5 to make sure Site runs smooth and efficiently
- Calling ERT
- Blowing up site when very bad breach happens
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
- Leading RP scenarios and creating RP around site
- Accept ECA applications
- Vote on ISD Directors
- Meetings with CL4 or Cl5
- Demotion appeals If Involved and notified
