Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
  • I am applying for Executive Researcher as I have had multiple people come up to me and recommend I apply. I am also applying so I can enhance the RP for research and other divisions as I love creating interesting role playing scenarios for not only myself but others. I feel moving up into the executive side of research I will meet my goals of enhancing the roleplay for all players with my interesting ideas of testing within the foundation and encourage more researchers to follow in my lead.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
  • I think I would make a suitable Executive Researcher as I have all forms of research personnel coming up to me asking me for my opinion/proof reading on their documentation and if it would be good to submit as I have become a document SME. I have sat down with a lot of new and old researchers and helped them format their documentation to follow our guidelines. To help newer researchers I find myself giving them personnel examples of Sample and Experiment documentation for them to take inspiration from and a foundation to work with. Lastly if I don’t know something I ask my superiors before giving out potentially wrong information.


How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
  • Two Excellent-Graded Document
The Core parts of an excellent document would be to have a clear realistic goal to your document listing all areas that you wish to study. This should leave you asking questions and being intrigued on how this will be achieved. Having a neat and understanding Personnel and Equipment list needed for the test including the formatting. Listing clearly all steps you took before the conduct of the test(Get Creative). How the experiment goes down from start to finish including the areas before and after the test. Having clearly defined and realistic outcomes from your test including a good expected outcome and a negative expected outcome. To have your findings and conclusions be accurate to the test that was conducted leaving possible avenues of further exploration / tell us what you found during the test how it really went down. Lastly, to have a grammar and spelling free document.


What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
  • To supervise and guide other researchers ensuring they are following the guidelines. To help new researchers by providing an on-boarding giving them a tour, all templates and an understanding of the SCP class system and what they are allowed to test on. To proof read and sign documentation to allow testing if documentation and reasoning prove worthy. During emergencies my role would be to open and close blast doors helping guide all non combative personnel to the nearest applicable breach shelter. Lastly to grade documents and provide tons of roleplay to others and immerse them into the SCP universe.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what story lines they would be involved in:

  • Andrew Snow is from Ontario, Canada. Where he was a member of the National Research Center his field of study was Quantum and Nanotechnologies. During his study the foundation saw the potential of his mind and invited him to Site-65 to work as a researcher. Andrew is very docile and does not like to participate in violence only vowing to carry a pistol when dire situations arise. Andrew would be involved in story lines along the lines of creating an SCP. Testing the potential of information gathering and understanding with the use of SCP to further his knowledge. Causing him to have the reins pulled by higher members for his drastic and scary testing ideas. Lastly Andrew is extremely loyal to the foundation and will be friends with anyone who lets him increase his knowledge and create/test to his heart's content.

As someone who was a D-Class assisting in a sampling conducted by Andrew and also seeing them around site in my other roles, I can say that they seem to have the drive necessary to become executive. They were doing tests and sampling and doing so with a clear purpose and sadly that seems to be a rare sight.

A shining example of what research should be. Just the kind of person I'd want leading RSD.​
